    Mavis Auto
They were able to fix the problem quickly and did a thorough job. The problem was I brought my car in February for a rear brake job and they failed to notice a caliber was sticking. Now, it would have been nice if they noticed but I can accept that they didn't. Then the brakes chewed up my rotors. They  honored the warranty on the brake pads but did have to do addition work because they failed to notice the problem back in February.

It would have been great if they noticed it but I can not fault them for not noticing.

    Plainview Auto Care
This is only the latest in a string of successful trips to Plainview Auto. Not only were they able to repair it (the roadside people said it probably couldn't be fixed), they did it incredibly quickly. Seeing that I had my 2 year old with me, they were incredibly kind to her as well as doing fantastic service. What's more, the price was incredibly low and reasonable - continuing a tradition of fairly priced labor. To be perfectly honest, I just won't go anywhere else.

I went to Tony to replace my clutch, clutch plate, slave valve, rear brakes and rear rotors. Tony gave me an estimate that broke everything down in great detail, which was much appreciated. Something important did come up after he took it apart and he had some suggestions to save me money. I did all the work recommended.  Very happy with the way tony ran the shop and his professionalism. looking forward to many more years of bringing my subaru to tony!

These are the most reliable, honest, friendly and trustworthy auto mechanics. I have been using them for 20+ years and travel some distance just to use them, as do my friends. They are excellent diagnosticians and have fixed problems on my car that the auto dealership could not even find.

The service was fine. The workers I dealt with were fine. It took them about an hour-and-a-half to do the oil change. I waited for it. There was coffee and snacks in the waiting room. The oil change was for free.

    A&L&J Service Center Inc
He's fantastic. He's very trustworthy, accurate, and is a really nice guy. I rely on what he tells me. I've been to other mechanics and I don't trust them at all. At Aand Land J Service Center, they've never tried to overcharge me or add on unneeded repairs.

    Wheatley Hills Auto Service Inc
Mark did exactly what he said and did not try to sell me any extra services. I have brought my car to him after others claimed I needed work and Mark checked the car over and did not charge me anything. He said the work was not necessary. This brake job was a long time coming. The brakes had been pulsating for a while and on a previous visit Mark said that the brakes were safe but the rotors were just warped a bit. After another 20,000 miles the brake pads were worn and Mark replaced them. If you are looking for a great mechanic who is honest and competent then go to Wheatley Hills Auto.

Couldn't find solution so they had to remove purchased security system. When I picked up the car, the technician had obviously eaten his lunch in my car, as there were droppings from Taco Bell in the foot wells of the front seat - my car wasn't even a month old and this jerk was eating and dirtying my car! Complained to manager, who vacuumed up garbage technician left, but I refused to ever go back there. Be aware of their bait-and-switch sales tactics (Huntington Honda, too!) !!

    North Shore Honda
I have a 2005 Honda Pilot with 100,500 miles.  North Shore Honda is the BEST of all the Honda dealers in my area.  They were great with the purchase and my car runs as good today as when I first purchased it.  They are always thorough and check with you before doing any service.  Would not go anywhere near Huntington Honda or Honda City -- North Shore is the way to go!

A new battery was purchased and then when it wasn't working properly, they discovered a problem with the alternator. This job would have cost a lot more if we have it at a Toyota service.
This location has been changing the oil on all the cars since about 5 yrs. They are good, reliable and they offer coupons, which help with the cost of each service.
