AChoice Home WarrantyItems that can be fixed within a reasonable cost are fixed with my out of pocket cost of only the $45 deductible. Items that they deem too expensive to fix are "replaced," i.e., you are offered an amount of money to purchase a new appliance, etc. If the offered amounted is not sufficient, I suggest that you make a reasonable counter offer based on your existing appliance's features, etc. Keep in mind, they are a business, just like any insurance company or health care provider, so they will look to serve you as cost effectively as possible.- James C.

DM & H APPLIANCE SERVICEI called to have my washer and dryer is maintained under a warranty. Once Mitchell got to my house we discovered that the washer was under warranty but the dryer was not. For my washer he suggested that I use vinegar on a rinse cycle Sinclair out there and debris. Never really fixed the issue I had with the loud noise during agitation. My dryer which wasn’t covered by the company’s warranty, was fine but because he did a diagnostic (just putting in a code,) he charged me $90. $90 to tell me that my apartment complex needed to clear out the outside vent. He could’ve given me advice over the phone on what to do. He did nothing with the machines other than look forever codes and none came up for my dryer. For my washer I had to clean it out, once I put the vinegar in it, on the cleaning cycle a massive amount of dirt came out of the vents. Would not recommend- Chantell F.

AApple Appliance Repair - FairfaxIt was a great but short experience. I sent an email Sunday night expecting a call/response the next day. I got a call within an hour of sending the email and arranged for a repairman to arrive between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. I was told that the repairman would call me when he was 30 minutes away from arriving. The repairman did call around 12:30 and was only 20 minutes away from my location. He was prompt and very professional. Even though it became clear there was no actual problem for him to fix, he ran through several cycles to ensure that it was not a fluke result. When a new light came on "Hot surface", he indicated that this light would automatically turn off in 3 minutes time - the amount of time necessary to cool down. He stayed around to ensure that indeed the light extinguished. The only thing that could have beat my expectations was if "no charge" was assigned instead of $50.00. That said, the fee was very reasonable for coming out and the peace of mind gained was well worth the price.- Cheryl L.

He had to diagnose the problem and then found out the compressor had failed. He had one in the truck. He stayed with the job until it was completed and the unit was checked thoroughly. AHarmond was very knowledgeable and understood this model. He looked at the situation and found that a service bulletin was issued for this model, which three previous repair in-person repair technicians had not told me about. He diagnosed the problem as requiring a new kit to replace the main PCB control board and the display board. He gave me the OEM part number. I highly recommend Neli Virtual Appliance Repair, my first virtual repair experience. Cost $35. I would do it again. Took 15-20 minutes to install app and pay at start of appt.
