    Seneca chiropractic and family wellness
My late father chose Dr. David Isabella for his chiropractic treatment that during the last year of his life my Dad said was NOT reducing his pain. Still, since I have made use of every conceivable more natural treatment including chiropractic, I encouraged my Dad to continue regular treatments with this chiropractor of his choice. When my Dad died, I offered to pay for any remaining balance due from unpaid co-pays or other due Dr. Isabella and/or Seneca Chiropractic if they would send a remaining bill. They never did. More than a year later, I was severely injured in a car accident and found myself stranded at my dead Father's former home to recover enough to function. I began treatment with billing to the auto insurer. Several weeks later, I learned the out-of-state auto insurer had denied the claim. I stopped treatment because I could not afford to pay otherwise. I owed $210 for 4 visits. Months later, after retaining an attorney to force the insurer to pay for covered medical treatments, I scheduled a new appointment after trying to ask about terms for payment of my existing and new balances. First, I was told that to talk about the balance, I needed to ONLY speak to Dr. Dave Isabella, and that to do this I MUST have an appointment for which I would be billed. I agreed, but then decided to cancel until I could discuss past billing WITHOUT being billed for a new visit that might result in me choosing to not continue with a treatment that day, owing $40 just to be able to DISCUSS the past balance due. Next, after being told I could pay a part payment monthly while continuing new sessions, I scheduled a new appointment. The day of that first new appointment in 5 months, on the way to the office, I was delayed a couple minutes getting the money I intended to pay toward my balance. I arrived 7-8 minutes late, at about 11:07-11:08 for an 11:00 appointment. When I walked in the Camillus lobby of the Seneca Chiropractic office, Dr. Isabella was talking with a patient at the counter. This discussion with the other patient went on for about 3 minutes, ending at about 11:11. Then Dr. Isabella told me that I was late and he had to reschedule the 11:00 appointment, claiming that the policy was that if I was more than 7 minutes late, he had to reschedule. The doctor, rudely failed to recognize the obvious nature of the delay beyond the lateness he had suddenly newly claimed was the maximum allowed 7 minutes, had been increased by 50% and the entire wait beyond the new "policy" of forcibly rescheduling if more than SEVEN minutes late was the fault of the doctor delaying my intake by his ongoing discussion with the previous patient. For all the years I helped my late Dad drive to Seneca Chiropractic, when his ability to walk and drive varied tremendously and on occasion he would be late, I had learned that the office policy was to reschedule patients who were more than 15 minutes late. No one in YEARS of being treated in this office ever mentioned, alluded to, nor suggested some strange policy regarding "7 minutes". It appears to have been newly fabricated by Isabella on-the-fly to harass and irritate me while denying me the help of a continued treatment. I have never had any session with this doctor take 15 minutes of his time as he claims is the time allotted for each visit. When in disbelief I asked if he was serious if he was going to force me to reschedule because he himself had caused a 50% greater delay and this nit picking was all over the difference between 7 and 10 minutes, Isabella became even more unreasonable. I left and was back in my car driving away at 11:11 and decided that I do not trust doctors who act this abusively. I began searching for a new responsible replacement chiropractor; I am in a lot of pain and needed treatment right then; it sometimes takes weeks for an initial visit with any practitioner, this delay caused by Isabella already. I called and asked for copies of my medical records to transfer ASAP. Isabella again began to argue, claiming the right to charge for the records despite me being unable to afford them, but ALSO DEMANDING I FIRST PAY THE ENTIRE PREVIOUS BALANCE BEFORE HE WOULD RELEASE THE RECORDS, a violation of federal and state law, as well an a continued harassment of a patient who was in pain. Don't start or continue treatments with a dishonest rude doctor or his co-worker chiropractors, with marginal treatment skills at best, who it's more important to nit pick about being 1 minute later than he claims and is willing also to violate the law to even more greatly physically hurt a patient. It will be weeks before I can even attempt to start to reduce my pain with a new DC.

    Diane's Delicate Touch Therapeutic Massage
Diane at Diane's Delicate Touch is a superb massage therapist! I've been a monthly client of hers for many years. Diane's knowledge of musculature is truly impressive. She doesn't just focus on short term relief; she also works to achieve long term effects too. Yes, Diane has a delicate touch, but more importantly, for me, Diane has skills, strength, professionalism, and a vast knowledge of her field. I have a history of genetic, chronic back pain. Every month Diane gives my back, arms, and legs a "reset" that relieves my pain and the stress my body accumulates. I've been to physical therapists, chiropractors, and doctors for pain management, but Diane has been a true constant in my routine to maintain a more healthy back. At least once a month my back feels great, thanks to Diane!

    Pirro-Lombardi, Dr. Elaina A.
Elaina is WONDERFUL.  It took several visits and trying different things in between the visits, but I can honestly say my back feels better than it has in a long time --- and that is because of Elaina's care and concern.  Elaina didn't do the same thing every time I saw her, but tried a variety of manipulations.  She REALLY listened to me, and tailored treatment that day to how I was felling - that day!  I now go for maintenance, and wouldn't miss a session!

    Upstate Orthopedics
It went great. This is a terrific 24 hour anytime walk in care provider for orthopedic injury or problems. It also houses orthopedic doctors who can be seen on an ongoing basis for care. I can not say enough good things about this group! I am an adult with grown children, and I only wish something like this had existed when my son was growing up! Children with injuries were in the waiting room - they had short waits. It is a full service facility so that if you need an X-ray it is done asap. I was seen within a short period of time in the early evening, after X-rays and an exam the Nurse Practitioner agreed with my assessment that my rheumatoid arthritis was affecting my knee as it was swollen and warm to the touch. Cortisone was injected, I was instructed on what to do, my knee was wrapped and off I went. Fantastic. The following day the swelling was down, as was the inflammation so I could walk without pain.

    Patriarco, Dr. Daniel D.
My husband and I have been seeing and quot;Dinoand quot; for years. I see him 2 - 3 times per month for lower back, neck and sciatic pain. The staff is always friendly, greeting clients. The office is clena and the wait is usually only a few minutes, it may be longer depending on the number of clients in the office. Dr. Patriarco is always friendly, good bedside manner, he always asks how you're feeling and whether your having any specific problems and works at treating those areas. He's through and if he feels the situation warrants it he will suggest x-rays or a MRI to better evaluate the problem. I have and will continue to refer new clients to him. Great guy!!

    Brighton Hill Chiropractic, PC
After recovering from exterior wounds and injuries from being attacked by 3 dogs, I became less and less able to walk normally. Holding my handbag was too heavy-it caused shooting pains from my shoulders all the way down my legs. Walking upright was nearly impossible; driving and sitting caused unbearable pain. I was reduced to crawling, even trying to do my office job on my knees in front of a computer! I had been to Dr. Carolyn (Shayes) Goettsch in the past, as I have a congenital sacrolized 5th lumbar that is relieved by occasional adjustments. Dr. Goettsch has a marvelously holistic approach to treatment, with comprehensive knowledge about nutrition and supplements in addition to her uncanny ability to 'feel' what is not in tune in the body. She took x-rays and commenced treating me, first with gentle adjustments, due to the extreme pain I was in. I had always been very fit, so my reduced range of motion was quite a shocking change. After the first visit and each succeeding visit, my pain always was lessened markedly, but because of the severity of my injuries, which apparently had a 'whiplash' type of effect on my spine (I was attacked by the 3 dogs from the side first, while standing, and then when running) it took around 6-8 months for me to approach a normal range of activities, like driving long distances, carrying my jammed-full purse, vacuuming, etc. I have received care by other osteopaths and chiropractors in the US, and Dr. Goettsch is definitely one of the best.
