    Interior Moving Services
I hired the 3 movers on a coupon. Two out of the three were excellent - very hard workers and experienced. The third was new, not happy being a mover. He disappeared and was on his cell phone at least half the time. When I asked him to move the items out of the basement, he said he would get to that. I only needed one truckload, and after the move, realized that he hadn't moved any of the basement items. I was able to do this in my SUV, but it was difficult. This mover broke a couple of picture frames - he didn't seem to have training. They were not expensive, so I didn't report it. I have used IMS many times and until this move, had been very happy.

    Highline Moving Delivery and Storage
Did not transport anything for me - just had to move a few couches and an elliptical out of my basement to garage. No issues. They called ahead, showed up on time, and finished on time. Setting up the time and date went well - responses to my questions were always on same day, I did not have to wait.

    Highline Moving Delivery and Storage

Workers worked hard; moved a lot of stuff in a short time.  Were careful and professional.

The issue: Their business office added $45 for 15 minutes of travel time, which we did not hear about until they were pulling out of the driveway.   Could have stopped 15 minutes earlier if we had known.   Listening to just one side of the conversation, it sounded like the business office was trying to figure out anything they could to add something to our bill.

    Becker Movers, Inc.
The movers were on time and very friendly and professional.  They treated all of our items with care and were very polite.  They are paid by the hour but worked very quickly and did not waste any time.  I would hire this company again for future moves.

The trucks were on time, and very efficient.  They never stopped working, except for a quick lunch break which I wasn't charged for.  They took extra care with my antique furniture when I expressed concern that they were fragile.  I have moved 5 times in the last 7 years and this is the best company I have worked with.  They were even able to complete the work in less than the quoted time.  I would use them again!

    Highline Moving Delivery and Storage
We had Highline move our office consisting of furniture (desks, bookcases, etc), partitions, storage items, and related office stuff.
A crew of 5 arrived with 2 trucks. They made the transfer in about 2 1/2 truckloads to a new location down the street. A lot of the furniture was heavy and/or awkward but they didn't seem to have any problems.
The 5 guys worked very hard, were polite and accommodating. We were very happy with the results and will use them for any future moving needs.

The movers were nice non-stop hard working guys. The team leader and his young apprentice were more careful and methodical. The older mover,  hard-working, also very nice, wanted to move things on his own, thus not so careful. Some furniture got scratched, chipped and dinged. Sad when you look at pieces you've owned for 25 years that looked as new as the day you purchased them only to have scratches or gouges out of them. Walls had to be re-painted, a banister had to be moved and re-attached since it was pulled from the wall, furniture had to be touched up with paint since the suggested furniture marker wouldn't cover and the dime size gouge out of a beautiful like new hutch is now just a sad story.
On the other hand, extremely heavy items had to be moved. A treadmill, large dressers and an old TV to mention a few.
I think what bothers us most is I called the company, talked to the owner specifically asked for wrapping for our furniture other than moving blankets as a previous mover had used. The previous company, 23 years ago was beyond perfect. Wrapped furniture, took their time and were so careful. This owner said wrapping would be on the truck that it was up to the leader to make that decision to use it or not. There were no wrappings on the truck other than moving blankets.
Would I hire them again? Honest answer, I don't know but most likely not.
Why I would - The guys were punctual and hard working. They were pretty much non-stop other than to have a quick snack I made.
Why I would not - The owner telling me wrapping would be on the truck and it wasn't. Also when I called after the move to report some missing shelves. It was a blown off answer - "they are someplace in your house look around". Never offering for me to call back or talk about the extra coverage we paid as an insurance. Fortunately we did find the shelves in the back of the nightstands which was good because we sold them later!

    Watlack's Billiard Service
Ed arrived exactly when he said he would.
He was very nice, knowledgeable, professional, neat and careful. ...As was his son. Wish they were our movers!
They took the table apart, moved it to our new home and set it back up. It was put together better than when we received it new.
I would definitely use Ed (and his son) again to move our pool table and wish more business owners or managers ran their business the same way.

    [Redacted per DCMA] Van Lines
This was by far the worst of our 6 moves with professtional moving companies!!!

WE contracted with a "full pack" - all items were to be packed by the moving company.  On arrival, the packers said that they "didn't have time" to specially pack 48 antique dols.  My wife spent 11 hours packing the dolls sothat they would not be broken.  VERY Unprofessional!
all 20 of my wife's wood musical instruments were to be packed in extra heavy shipping containers.  They were NOT packed but put loose in the top of the truck!!!  VERY Unprofessional!
Out three week old washer and dryer set ($2,200) were badly scratched on all sides!  I pointed this out to the driver and his reply was "they were lake that before the movers touched them".  YET the inventory sheet did NOT list any damage!  VERY Unprofessional.
The driver could not get everything on one dedicated van.  He left and another van was supposed to be at my house at 8AM the next day.  They did not show up until 11AM "because the driver did not show up"!  VERY Unprofessional!
After man calls, the items on the sewcond shipment showed up in Rochester, NY almost two weeks later!!!!  VERY Unprofessional!
Furniture with out a scratch or mark on it was inventories as "rubbed, soiled, scratched, broken" when this was not the case!  Driver trying to protect himself from insurance claims!  VERY Unprofessional.
MANY items on the second ship, ment were missing or broken.  We later found out that the second truck dumped my belongings off in Indianapolis warehouse and "had to wait for another truck going east"!  VERY Unprofessional.
We will submit insurance claims in two weeks.   I will follow up and let you know their response to all the damage...  Will it be anything ohter than VERY Unprofessional????

They absolutely the best people that we would ever want to deal with. I did not compare their prices because everything else was so good. They were extremely responsive. They did not get on time the last time but the other times they have. I do not think anybody could go wrong in using them.
