AMetropolitan Moving & StorageExcellent. My wife and I moved our family (two kids and one large dog) from DC to Connecticut in the midst of a pandemic this summer. What was anticipated to be a high-stress series of mishaps turned out to be a no-stress smooth ride. Metropolitan was on time on both ends, respectful of the current health norms/protective measures, and did not damage or lose a thing. Seems like a low bar, but these days it's anyone's guess. There’s this online service where it had 5-10 different moving companies contact me back with an estimate and this company came in a couple of hundred bucks lower than everybody else. ARoadway MovingI moved with Roadway in 2019 and I used them again because they were so good. The team is very organized in how they assessed my furniture and belongings so they knew how to load and unload the boxes and furniture in a way that wouldn't make it difficult for me to unpack especially in such a tight space like my studio apartment. ATikTok MovingThe TikTok Moving sent his crew and they arrived early with smiles and introduced themselves to us. After walking through the 3-story townhouse that we moved from, they started to work. Within a few hours all of our furniture and belongings are in their truck, and after another few hours they are sitting in our new home quite a long distance away. AI highly recommend Schleppers Moving and Storage for your next move. Beginning with my initial contact with the customer service representative who was friendly and accommodating, I scheduled a walk through. Schleppers estimator used a tablet not paper and pencil on an old form which the others had done. I was impressed with the technology he used as we walked through the house. Making changes to what was going/not going was very easy using an electronic form. I needed storage because our new house would not be ready for another 6 to 8 weeks. Schleppers estimate was lower than the other 3 estimates. They do not use 3rd party carriers and every aspect of the moving and storage is handled by the them and only them. Moving day the crew showed up on time with all the right packing equipment, enough truck space and worked quickly. No hidden fees or costs with Schleppers! The actual cost was within a few hundred dollars of the quote. Thank you!

AAmazingly seamless. The entire team from their on call representatives to the drivers to the movers - were all so very professional and kind. I was very concerned about moving during a pandemic however Roadway made me feel safe and their team kept their distance, wore correct masks/gloves, and really made me feel at ease. AI am extremely pleased with the moving services provided by Paula's Movers. I needed to move to a different state and was looking for a reliable company that would not cost an arm and a leg. David, one of the owners, is a real gentleman and a man of his word. David and his crew arrived on time of the day of the move, they worked quickly but diligently and efficiently. I could not believe how quickly they helped us finish packing and carried all items out of our old home and loaded into their truck. Hanna, the lead in customer service, was a real pleasure to deal with. She was patient and very attentive to all of my questions and concerns. Hanna provided a very simple and straightforward quote that was easy to understand. The quote itself was also very competitive compared to the quotes we've received from their competitors. ABetter than one could ever expect. Three guys (some movers are only using two right now because of Covid), they were so helpful with some items that weren't completely ready to go, took great care over some cartons with fragile items, were excellent about repositioning the furniture if I changed my mind about where I wanted it. The new apartment involved using an elevator, which was not reserved for the purpose, and with all that, the entire job took only 3 1/2 hours. I was a nervous wreck but once I got there I realized I was in good and patient hands. Also: When I submitted a quote request online, I got a reply phone call within less than two hours. They weren't cheap but boy, you get what you pay for.

FDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED BLIND. Ruben Tinoco, his nephew Yair Misaray, and the movers he has employed STOLE ALL OF MY MOTHERS JEWELRY!! Prying open and breaking her jewelry box in an attempt to get to the Watches, two wedding ring sets, including her wedding ring with my father that was going to be passed down to me. When they didn’t find the jewelry in the box, they ended up rummaging through HER BAG and found it all!! THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS, AND AN ENTIRE LIFETIME OF COLLECTED JEWLERY. They stole the money and gift cards out of my 9-YEAR-OLD brothers birthday cards, but left the cards, took his Nintendo Switch out of the case, as well as all the games, but left the case. Ruben claims his nephew watched his employees put all of my Mothers boxes in the trucks, which means he would have OVERSEEN them stealing thousands of dollars worth of belongings. THESE PEOPLE SAW A SINGLE MOTHER, AND PREYED ON HER AND THEY WILL DO IT TO YOU TOO!!! Every single one of my Mothers belongings were rummaged through while it was in their possession! Save yourself the heartache of losing your lifetimes worth of precious possessions!!! HE CONTINUES TO DODGE ANY AND ALL CONTACT WITH US. WE WANT OUR FAMILY’S BELONGINGS RETURNED IMMEDIATELY.
