All phone calls were answered immediately. Work was done quickly and with quality. I asked for an adjustment on the installation and the installer was back the first thing the following morning. He explained why he installed the track for the opener the way he did and then changed it to my preference. Very polite, professional service. I would recommend them without hesitation.

    MILANO BROTHER'S LANDSCAPING
I have used Milano Bros. for commercial snow removal for the last 3 years and I couldn't be happier. They are ready to go before the first snowflake even hits the ground. From the removal of snow to the clean up afterwards, to the attention to detail to customer service, Milano Bros. is top notch. We've never missed of moment of production due to snow, not even during the blizzard a couple years back. I've never used a snow removal company that reliable. Highly recommended.

    Affatato Asphalt Paving
took 11 weeks to finish, The day after the install i noticed 2 bad seams in the middle of the driveway approx 3 ft apart. These seams stand out and are out of place compared to the rest of the driveway. I called to have them send someone out to look at the driveway, when Jeff showed up, he got out of the car, walked up to the front door, put his business card in the door and then left. HE DID NOT EVEN RING THE BELL OR KNOCK ON THE DOOR. This act was witnessed, what a shame. And when you call the office they give you every excuse to defend those actions. The office also tell you that Jeff will only knock on the door or talk to you if he has a scheduled appointment. I thought that if you called the office and they told you that he will be at you house on a certain day, that that was an appointment!. I am not a happy camper

Honestly we had the worst experience with this company from start to finish. The first time around they didn't bring enough RCA so they ended up sitting around for half the day because Jerry was out looking for more. Jerry originally said they'd have to come back to finish but ended up finding more and finished. They pushed all the dirt and grass onto our grass in the backyard acting like they were helping us out by leveling out our backyard with the grass/dirt which they definitely did not do. So we were left with a mess of a backyard and had to seed everywhere. Then there were weeks of rain prolonging finishing the project (obviously not their fault). When they came back they started on the backyard first. When my husband periodically went out to give waters and to check on the progress, Jerry in so many words complained that they would need more asphalt to finish the job and was saying they already used x amount for x amount of dollars and that he'd have to pay so much more to finish. (Unprofessional and not our fault. They knew exactly what the job was that they were coming to do. I understand sometimes things pop up but don't complain to us like it's our fault.) It also seemed like they started rushing the project after a while. I guess they didn't realize how long it would take. They had to raise our cesspool to pave the area. Which they did a horrendous job doing. It is very uneven and we also had to get It pumped a couple weeks after paving the cesspool people said "what a **** job this is, they obviously didn't know what they were doing." Which we already knew considering it wasn't level at all they just piled bricks up n they are all sticking out etc. our whole backyard is severely uneven. When it rains we get pools of water all over the blacktop in different places. They also left another round of dirt in the backyard that we asked them not to leave considering we already had to fix up their first mess and spend a lot of money on seed. So needless to say they left all the dirt which we had to fix up and seed again!!!! $$$$$$& They didn't even press some of the asphalt in the back closest to house so it was literally just loose rocks we had to ask for that to be "redone". They branded our tree with orange spray paint. The only thing that came out good was our driveway and front walkway. They didn't do a good cleanup job or do any sort of detail. It was 10grand to do all of this and for us that's a lot of money. We are very upset that we got such a hack job and wasted all that money. We will never re hire this company for anything. I am also surprised by this job considering such great reviews. Pics will be added

It was awesome. The guy was just very good. He did a tune up on my garage door. And actually told me that they were not out of shape and credited me some money if I ever needed anything more because he didn't have to do that much. He did a great job.

Not well. I will start by saying that the only part of their work that I am dissatisfied with is the driveway itself which is the lion's share of the overall expense. The pavers and paver patio are fine (except that one paver is already cracked), and the stucco on the foundation is ok. The driveway itself looks good, UNTIL IT RAINS or SNOWS, then have a fairly large area that does not drain and a number of smaller areas that eventually drain but of course, in the winter time, the cold freezes those areas before they have time to drain. Whenever it has snowed, I have to sweep the water off my driveway after I have shoveled and before it freezes because water still remains from the melting snow. If not, I have an ice rink for a driveway. In fairness, the day they poured the driveway, John told me about the main area where the water would collect and apologized. Ok, so now what? The pavers were in, the driveway was poured and completed. What are my options? None were offered except a partial refund of $1500. The way I saw it, I had two options; have a driveway with an area where water was going to puddle and no refund or a driveway with an area where water was going to puddle and $1500 more in my pocket. I would have preferred to have had a driveway that drained as I was repeatedly promised over and over again, but that was not an option at this point. I accepted the $1500 but was not happy about it. This company offers a 1 year guarantee so I waited till the spring to contact John again since I wanted to see how bad the water freezing would be during the cold of the winter. (The work had been completed in the fall of 2015.) When I called, John demanded to know why I waited till now to call him, which I explained as I did above. But I had a one year guarantee so what difference did it make anyway? I told him about the puddling and the freezing and he asked me if you could put a goldfish in the puddles. Not funny, never mind unprofessional and flippant. He continued with What would you like me to do, Madam? Would you like me to tear your whole driveway up, including the pavers and do it all over again? He clearly was annoyed and disrespectful to me. I told him that he was the asphalt guy and I didnt know what he needed to do, but he should know. This young man is in his early to mid- twenties and is very sure of himself. He boasted from the onset that he had no complaints at all, ever, and went on to bad mouth every other asphalt guy around. He had had an ongoing argument with the GC I had working at my house at the time because my contractor told him there was not enough pitch to the driveway and the water was not going to drain off. John INSISTED that HE was the professional and that it would definitely run off. Well, it didnt run off. John then came to my house after our phone conversation and hosed down my driveway with water from my garden hose and said if it drained (or evaporated) within one hour he was going to do nothing. Now when one hoses down a driveway, it doesnt necessarily duplicate the amount of water that accumulates after a substantial downpour. But we waited and within just about an hour most of the puddled water had drained/dried up. That means nothing to me. I am still left with a driveway that has a substantial amount of water accumulate in it each time we get a heavy downpour. He told me that the only way to fix that would be to tear up the whole driveway and do the whole thing over. He clearly wasnt going to do that. Understandably, I am very dissatisfied and dont feel I have any recourse other than to report the event here and admonish anyone who is considering using NY Paving and Masonry to double and triple think their decision. John can be a very charming, nice young man with his Irish brogue but he can also be a rude and disrespectful young man as I have described here and clearly he is NOT the knowledgeable professional he claims to be. If he were, I wouldn't be writing this review. The estimate for the work was $7100, minus the $1500, I paid $5600 for the work performed.

    Premier Garage

The entire experience of working with Marian and Pat Tracy was amazing, I found Tailored Living on Angie's list and decided to call the company  after reviewing  their  impressive reviews. Marian contacted me within one day and I arranged to see her and Pat at their warehouse to discuss options.

Pat, the owner, explained the process to me but was not overbearing with a sales pitch. He was obviously proud of his work. We arranged for a convenient time for him to go to my home and estimate the job. This was quite different form my experiences with another company whose owner told me to take pictures of the garage and give the square footage to him so he could estimate over the phone.

Pat was thorough was his estimate and explained various options to me. He indicated, that, based upon his analysis of the floor, he might need to apply a moisture barrier.. I already suspected this since I had previous signs of wetness on the garage floor. However, Pat did not push me to use the additional product  because it added an extra step to the process making it a three day job and, therefore would cost a bit more.

Pat arrived with his worker about a month later since we had to work around some rainy weather. They ground the floor down because I had previously applied an epoxy material from a box store which peeled after two years (save your money, it does not work). He did confirm from his humidity device after the floor was ground that I had a high moisture content. He suggested and I approved applying the moisture barrier.

The floor was completed after three days and it looks great. I could not be more satisfied. Pat also provides a five year warranty against any defects in workmanship but I doubt that I will need it.

I am so impressed by the quality of this job that I will be using Pat in the future to apply a different product on my basement floor.

    Elite sealcoating
This is my second year using Elite Sealcoating and I have to say these are the guys to call ! The owner Vinny returned my call within an hour and scheduled an appointment . Vinny and his assistant James should up on time as promised and went right to work . The driveways came out great as they did last year . The owner Vinny as well as his assistant James were polite and very accommodating . The pricing was very fair and the work performed very neat . There was not one drop of sealant on my belgium block stones or my vinyl fence . Excellent Job !

I needed a small patio done in front of my townhouse within 2 weeks. I called and spoke to Jerry and although I was slightly delusional regarding my desired price and lead time, Jerry was able to work everything out to my complete satisfaction including moving things around to meet my deadline as well as working with me on the price. He was able to complete the project in one day and though I'm still not sure if my homeowner's association allows me to install my own patio, I have gotten nothing but compliments from neighbors who I was afraid might have had an issue and a bunch of referral requests from my neighbors who now want to install their own patios because mine came out so good. I've stared and stared for a long time and it really is perfect from the color and stone he recommended to the actual installation. I remember a long time ago my perfectionist father and I did a Nicolock driveway that came out great and the job he did put us to shame. I originally wanted it to be a rectangle going from the slab in front of my door to the edge of my property but he was able to have it go perfectly from my slab to my neighbors slab with gentle curves to match the landscape of my garden. When all was said and done it looked fantastic and his men did an excellent job cleaning up. I was out at the time and came home to a little paradise in my front yard with nothing needing to be touched. Thanks again Jerry, I expect you will be getting a lot of work around my community.
