    Theodore Isseks MD
Very good experience. Service was prompt, doctor was friendly, unrushed, and communicative. Explained the various tests and results, discussed and commented on my history. I was there on Medicare, so paid no fee, but he also wrote out my eyeglass prescription. Most eye doctors charge extra for that and insurance generally doesn't cover it. They have an attached optical shop, but I didn't use it.

    The Eye Care Center
Dr. was very thorough with my exam and discussed the amount of change in my vision since last  visit. Reviewed all my records and followed up on an emergency visit over a year ago. Discussed my options for new glasses and discussed other providers without being biases. Presented factual information. The fitting of the new glasses was very professional. The fitting technician asked about my preferences and brought  about 6 different pair for consideration based on my statements. Assisted in selection that was the best fit and appearance for my individual needs.  Thorough in the measurements and placement of the order. Glasses arrived earlier than they project ed even though it was during the holiday vacation and end of year period. Final fitting and adjustments made quickly and proper fit achieved.

    Kwiat Eye & Laser Surgery
Dr. Kwiat performed the operation. In less than an hour I was awake in the recovery room. My vision was greatly improved. The cloudiness was gone. I had a few more follow appointments with Dr. Kwiat and all is well. I have since recommended Dr. Kwiat to all my family and friends.

    Ogdensburg Center for Sight
The appointment began only a few minutes later than was actually scheduled and while I was slightly irritated at that, I soon was no longer irritated when I realized how much time would be spent answering questions and doing a thorough exam. The first tech who did the initial part of my exam was very friendly. The doctor was equally as friendly and was able to answer questions I had and explain about how the shape of my eye was impacting how I was seeing and recommend a contact that would work for me. He also was able to put my mind at ease about the floaters that I was having and to inform me of what to look for that wasn't normal. He was willing to talk to me about options and my appropriateness for LASIK surgery if I chose to go that route - mostly encouraging me to go for a consultation, but still was able to answer other questions as well.

    Ewing-Chow, Dr. David A.
I got to the office 5 minutes before scheduled appointment and was taken back to start my exam within 15 minutes. The appointment lasted about 20 minutes. Was a very fast appointment. That team works like a fine oiled machine.

    Smith, Dr. Andrew P.
He is highly recommended, is the only eye doctor in town, and I like the convenience. That's why I joined Angie's List to find other companies and providers. He's great. highly professional, reasonable, explains everything, doesn't push, but, he does make suggestions on treatments. I have very bad eyesight and he has never prescribed the wrong medication as others have. I give him high ratings and will continue to use him in the future.

    The Eye Care Center
I have no complaints for the surgery. They have another office in Geneva, which is closer for us but we are not as happy with them as we are in Canandaigua. We are not pleased with the atmosphere and the treatment in Geneva. We could see the same doctor but he is only there once a month. It’s just not very convenient. The staffs were very, very nice. I have no complaints at all. I had to wait little longer but not terribly long. I see him 20 minutes or half an hour at the most because they have a very efficient operation. You see one person after another and then you see the doctor. There are certain technicians that do the primary exams and then you see the doctor after that. Sometimes, we have a little difficulty getting appointments because my husband doesn’t want to drive and our son drives. It’s hard to find and the time went off. It’s not their fault. We need that something special service.  When I had my cataract surgery, they gave me a little plant. I couldn’t believe it. This was their gift to us. They are really super nice.

    Watertown Eye Ctr
When I called Watertown Eye Center I explained the situation to the receptionist. She was WONDERFUL on the phone (professional, cheerful, just all around NICE) for starters and my mother-in-law got an appointment for the next day. We saw Dr. Grace Burke and she was exceptional with my mother-in-law. First off, she complimented my mother-in-law on her and quot;fancy hatand quot; and that just set the tone for a very pleasant experience. I told Dr. Burke that my mother-in-law was hard of hearing and she made a special effort to speak loudly and repeat everything she said and she did it in such a nice way too. After a thorough exam we were given a prescription for an antibiotic eye drop and directions about how to wash her eye twice a day with baby shampoo and water. We were went for a follow-up appointment on February 27th and my mother-in-law's eye had improved significantly however Dr. Burke felt that she had a tendency toward dry eye and she recommended a wetting solution and sent her home with a sample. As a result of this experience, my mother-in-law left her old eye doctor and has now become a patient of the Watertown Eye Center.

My experience with them was terrific. It is very easy to get an appointment there. I already have my appointment for next year.

    Reed Eye Associates
So far no signs of glaucoma, but there is a possibility of cataracts. If they develop, I will have Reed eye do the surgery. BTW, there is a third Reed Eye office in Sodus, NY. I go there. They also give a discount on glasses to complete with Lenscrafters, etc.
