  • The staff at this Goodyear are seemingly very professional and friendly, however I ended up having some major issues and questioning their skills and diagnostic ability .  I had been going to them for 3 years straight for routine oil changes, minor mechanical problems, tires, etc. for my 2 cars and was happy.  Then one day during a routine oil change before a trip I was informed that there was a major problem and my car would need some work.  The drain plug for the oil pan was loose and barely holding on - it had been stripped.  They put in a new, temporary plug but a new oil pan would be needed.  I had only taken my car to them for work since I had bought it 3 years earlier.  I questioned how that would happen, and asked wouldn't that be there fault?  I was told it was an aluminum pan and they often wear out and my car had a lot of miles on it (80K).  I was quoted a cost of $900 to replace the pan.  After asking a mechanic friend about this, he said they don't just "wear out", that someone had over-torqued the plug or cross-threaded it, which is easy to do if you're not careful.  He said it's not something you expect/plan to happen like it's scheduled to replace an oil pan at a certain amount of miles.  He pointed out he has a Honda Civic from the 90's with much higher mileage that still has the original oil pan.  I then contacted a car dealer that sells/services the same make and was quoted $750 to change the oil pan. *And that was from a dealer*.  So I contacted the manager at Goodyear again and went around a few times about replacing the oil pan and eventually he agreed to do it for no charge to keep me as a customer though he was pretty put out about it.  He told me, "You know, we do one of these about once a month, it's not that uncommon."  Asking my mechanic friend about this he said the manager was full of beans or they had a very serious problem there if they were going through that many oil pans.  So, I had it done there, was content, and continued to go there despite some misgivings.  Until the NEXT big problem:  months later my other car was running a bit rough, hesitating at times, and the check engine light was on.  I brought it in and suggested it might need some new spark plugs as they had never been replaced.  After checking it out they told me that the spark plugs looked good, but that it had "two bad cylinders" and I was looking a getting a new engine.  I told them there was no way I was going to be doing that on an older car with 170,000 miles.  So I took my car home and began to shop for a new car.  Luckily instead I decided to run my car into the ground before replacing it.  8+ months later I took it to another shop near my job for an oil change and they checked it out since they felt it wasn't the cylinders despite the explanation I told them from Goodyear.  They ended up replacing the spark plugs and 4 coilovers and now my car has been running smooth as silk for almost a year!   I had one tire replaced later, but otherwise that was the end of my patronage at Goodyear.

  • I was met by the owner who gave me an immediate estimate.  Upon confirmation of insurance information the work was started immediately.  My truck was done on time with the materials as I specified and it looked great.  Everyone was very helpful and polite.  Now, nearly a year later, everything is still looking great.  Shortly after the repair, the taillight that was involved went out.  When I called, they said to bring it over right away.  It was just a matter of a burned out bulb and they replaced it immediately at no charge.  Fantastic service.  I highly recommend Goodrich Auto Works!

  • We first shopped at Fox Auto Group while looking for a car in 2012. Everyone there was polite, friendly and overall just wonderful. We got a great deal on a great car and ended up back to purchase again 6 months later. As happy as we were with the dealership side of the business we decided to give the service department a try and were just as happy with them. We have an older classic car that was in need of some TLC and gave Fox Service Department the list of repairs we were looking for. They got us right in and got right to work on the long list, had the car back on time and on budget! They kept us informed throughout the repairs and were great to deal with. We can't say enough about the customer service at Fox...GREAT PLACE!!!!!

  • So I called first and tried to explain over the phone what was going on with my car I was told its hard to tell what is wrong over the phone with out looking at the car and to drop it off a estimate would be free I agreed so I took it over 3 days latter I got a call saying Thay examined my car he went on saying a bunch of Mecanic talk that he knew I would not understand told me my planets we not allined this is bad that's bad long story short it would be $2699.00 to rebuild the transmission witch is more than I had to put into the car so I said I can't afford to fix it its time for a new car that I would be over to pick it up so I sent cranes to get itand iI get a call from klopps saying before Thay can releasse the car I need to pay $202.50 for the estimate I argued with the guy but what can u do so I payed and crans brought my car to me when it got here cranes asked were do I want it I said in the street reverse still works I can back it into the garage he replied not without a transmission and opened the rear hatch reveling my transmission in about 250 peaces springs and gears rods plates transmission fluid everywear I was so mad I called them and was told what dose it matter if I'm just gonna scrap it well my plan was not to scrap it it was to sell it to someone who could fix it and even if I was to scrap it I paid 202.50

  • Previous investigation by others had indicated low compression on one cylinder was causing skipping problem. Price for repair was estimated to be $2,000. Klopps found the source of the problem to be electrical. They replaced the ignition coil and spark plugs. The engine now runs better than it has in several years. I got my car repaired and found a good mechanic shop in the process. I'd call that a win-win!

  • This is our regular location for oil changes. They are usually extremely busy though, so it will be best to set up an appointment a couple of days before. I have also gotten the tires on my Hyundai Genesis changed there before. They gave me a quote for the tires and before I agreed to get it done, I called around to see if I can get it done cheaper somewhere else. Theywere the cheapest so I went with them. They are honest and do a good job.

  • We bought a Honda Odyssey from Williams Honda in Dec 2012. The salesperson was sincere and honest. He worked hard to get us the exact model that we wanted. We got a great deal on the minivan and we were very happy with our purchase. We also went back there for an inspection a few months later which they did for free as there was nothing wrong with the minivan.

  • I bought a 1997 VW Jetta GT from Select back in 2000 and they treated me very well.  Their location was about 1.5 hours from my home and they made my purchase and trade in very easy considering the distance I was traveling.  The car turned out to be extremely reliable for many years, in fact had I not needed a larger vehicle I would likely still be driving it - I LOVED that car!  The price for the car was fair and they treated me well on my trade in.  They provided courteous service and I would recommend anyone looking to check them out.

  • The car arrived severely damaged on all surfaces by what appeared to be hail.  It was apparent that the driver did not even pull over for the storm due to high velocity damage to the hood.  The car is so badly damaged its not even possible to ignore from a far distance and is not in sellable condition.
They have claimed to not be at fault for the damage and are refusing to fix it.

  • They had what I wanted in stock, but they did not negotiate at all on the price. The price was fair, I asked for some accessories, but they stumbled on getting that correct. The car itself is fine, but the dealership couldn't figure out the right part combination to work with. Some of the parts installed were missing parts , they put the parts on, the parts fell off. Eventually I had to complain to them to get them to correct the error. The roof rack and some bumper guards were added on after market price, they stumbled on this issue.
