Was very impressed at the overall experience.Antonio and his crew are very easy going and the quality of work are outstanding.Antonio was very helpful in going with me to home depot to pick up my finished materials. The finished products of my kitchen and bathroom were so outstanding that I hired Antonio and his crew to do the flooring throughout my apt and also the repainting I had to also get done. The price paid was on par with what others charge if not slightly cheaper especially seeing the company is licensed an insured.I was very skeptical to leave any strangers or contractors in my at when I was not there but I must say honestly that Antonio and his crew were very trustworthy and at no time did I have any problems with them being alone in my home..WILL DEFINITELY HIRE AND RECOMMEND.

Just want to say how happy I was with Ty Salazar the owner of On the Level,  Hes a true gentlemen and made me feel so comfortable.  He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me.  I had 3 quotes from other contractors but they seemed annoyed when i asked them questions about the quotations.  Let me say my house is old and needed major repair, Ty explained that things can happen and that unforeseen issues may arise and they sure did,  He stopped work when we found lead in the pipes and he fixed it in a decent time, he found issues that i wasn't aware that weren't to code and he had the licensed professionals there to fix that.  Only thing i wasn't aware of was permits that may arise, but they showed me the invoices and let me make the decision.
Hes a one stop shop and i like that because the other contractor who was in the same price range was sending me by myself all over the place.
He also handled getting me a couple new windows which I love.  His tradesmen were clean and his VP David Bryant and Nick Kontos were always available to talk to when he wasn't available.
Im retired and I am not easy to deal with but they always smiled and explained things to me.
I LOVE MY NEW HOUSE and thank you Ty Salazar and thank you for your service to this country.
PS my neighbor is so jealous i completed my renovation before her.
Dont go anywhere else go to on the level design and construction.
They were a little more than the other contractor but they were worth it.

I love it! Jim the owner was very responsive, and gave me some good ideas. The person that came to do the work knew what he was doing and was very courteous and respectful. I waited a long time to have this bathroom redone and I am completely happy with the results and everything leading up to the finished product.

    Crisvalih Home Remodelation Inc
If you pay attention to details this contractor is not
    for you.
    We hired Crisvalish Home
Remodelation, Inc., because they were doing a bathroom remodel for our next
    door neighbor.
    The job was to
level up our basement floor (concrete slab), install floor tiles throughout the
basement, including the small powder room, as well as putting wall tiles in
that room.  The whole project took about
a week to finish, so not that bad. From the beginning we had an issue with
leveling the floor. The contractor insisted to use mix of cement and sand
instead of self-leveling compound, he said it was better for the basement so we
went along with it. This option contributed to later problems. 6' level and
straight edge did not do the job on 450 sq feet surface in 4 different rooms.
The floor was not leveled properly. When we mentioned this to him, he sad
    "wait for the final project".
We were installing ceramic wood like tiles (dark, 24 by 6 inches) and we
asked for a very dark grout so the finished product would like hardwood
flooring. To achieve this, tiles must be installed almost perfectly. Half way
through the job we have noticed that grout was too light and we asked for this
to be redone. Contractor redid only the main area and left the walking closet
and utility room without correction (not a big issue but says something about
his integrity). Later we realized that, the problem was not with the color of
the grout but with white sides of the tiles being seen at an angle and making
the grout lines look lighter than they really were. Putting second layer of
grout masked the problem but it did not solve it.
    The wall tiles
in the small powder room were installed in a rush: grout not even in all the
places, thick in some and thin in others, grout was not cleaned up properly
after it was laid leaving the excess to dry on the tiles, tiles were not cut
precisely in the corners leaving very unsightly and large grouted spaces.  We had to ask for few tiles to be re-laid
because there was too much adhesive under them and they would stick out of the
    wall more than others.
    At the end we
just wanted them out of the house so we paid the balance due and said our
goodbyes.  After we cleaned the floor we
have noticed that some of the tiles that were installed were chipped ? we had
plenty of extra material so there was no need to use any damaged tiles. Also
about two weeks after the job was completed we have noticed that some of the
tiles would squeak when we walked on them ? remember these are ceramic tiles
laid directly onto concrete!  The only
explanation for this was that the bonding material failed.  We called the contractor to remedy this and
it has been about 2 months now and several dates set by him to show up with no
The bottom line: the job was done, but quality was
substandard.  Job was rushed and the
contractor did not seem to care about our satisfaction.  We would not recommend this contractor.

Had to gut and install a new kitchen in the rental upstairs of my house.  I did extensive research and read many reviews. Got estimates and met with at least three other contractors. Had dealt with many contactors after Sandy  for my parents house in Howard Beach and they all left a bad impression with me.
Met with Ty from Ameripride and he was honest and definitely knows his business.  My instinct told me to go with him and I am glad I did.  He is very professional. Always answered phone for any questions or changes I had.   They did the job on the day the day we contracted for.  They cleaned up nicely and I am very satisfied with the work. I am definitely using them again for my personal kitchen and bath remodel.

Just want to say how happy I was with Ameripride Design Center.   I purchased kitchen cabinetry  and installation for my home  Ty walked me thru the whole process,  he personally designed it on a 3D cad system showed me what I was getting and helped with color selection of everything in entailed in the job.

His attention to detail is incredible and he is always available to speak to even on a sunday evening i called him and he answered the phone.

Ty supplied everything from the cabinets to the countertops,  flooring and plumbing fixtures and backsplash tile.  The process was very easy and he explained that in a renovation things do arise and that I would be informed and he would let me make that decision together how to rectify.

To be honest most contractors have bad reputations and reviews,  but this guy is genuine.  Also impressive that he is a retired military member, and it shows in his honestly and integrity.

We are currently in talks for him to renovate my Bathroom.

    I hope this review helps.

Id use him and his company again in a heartbeat!

    KP Contracting Associates Inc
I have used Kevin Paulich (KP) and his crew on several properties my family owns in the Queens area. From exterior work (cement, stucco, brick work) to whole  bathroom and kitchen renovations to basement remodels Kevin does it all and his work without question is top notch. Bottom line he does not disappoint.
Kevin is a contractor who is hands on and involved in all phases of the construction supervising and working on every project. From initial estimate, to gut out, to framing, electrical, plumbing and  heating and finish work he is there. In the kitchen and bathroom renovations, most contractors in a complete gut out sometimes leave preexisting plumbing and electrical, Kevin goes the extra mile and and makes sure all new pipes and electrical are installed  fom the ground up.
Most recently when Hurricane Sandy came to pay a visit at one of our properties basements, I called Kevin again and he was right on it. He came in and quickly gutted out the entire basement and we let it dry out for several weeks so there would be no mold issues. KP and his crew changed the empty and stark basement into a usable living space with a sensational bathroom, office space, laundry  and living area and deep closets for storage..
His attention  to detail is what makes the difference. Some contractors while doing tile work for floors would just begin laying tile down, instead Kevin uses self leveling cement prior to installation to make sure the floor is completely level. Even down to the baseboards Kevin uses top quality  materials not builder specials products. Even the studs which you will never see behind the sheetrock,  Kevin uses metals studs which may cost a little bit more but are of a better quality and resistant to rot.
I have also seen some of Kevin's other projects and the work is always done right and other customers I talk to same the same thing - quality job done right.
KP and crew keep up the good work and look forward to working with you again in the future.
