    Excellent and timely service and an extensive report on our home. We are preparing our home for sale and wanted to address any possible areas that might arise with a tentative buyer's inspection after initial price agreement. We had no serious issues, but there were some items that we needed to address. James met with us after the inspection, went over his initial concerns, and offered suggestions on how to address each item. We had our complete report and pictures emailed to us the next business day. The report was over 100 pages with clear explanation of any item that needed to be addressed and what clearly would pass the next inspection by a prospective buyer. In conclusion, this service is a little costly, but well worth your investment. This is a 5 star company and James is very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you for a task well done.

    The Moving Doctor
    These guys were awesome.  We had Nick as the foreman.  They were punctual, neat, polite and got the job done in exactly the amount of hours stated.  Their estimate came in at $400 less than the next closest we had gotten.  We were also quoted for 8 hrs. and everyone else quoted us for 9.5 hrs.  They charged $25 less per hour overtime than all the other estimates we had gotten.  Even if we went overtime we would have still been in lower than competitors.  Nothing was damaged, and they had to also more our very heavy furniture up 2 flights of stairs.  They did a great job.

    UPDATE: I would like to update the previous review I submitted. We thought everything went great until a few days ago. We had found two areas on the walls with hand prints containing blood. Thinking one of the guys cut himself did not think too much of it. The other day my husband went to move our sofa and low and behold one of the legs was splintered totally off. I understand things can happen but what really annoyed us was that they obviously tried to hide it. What they did was just sit the sofa on top of the leg and basically act like nothing happened.

    They showed up on time, loaded the truck with everything that had to go and negotiated traffic in the wall street area without a mishap. The entire move was done professionally, timely and without any damage. There was nary a problem with the crew of professionals. I would unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone and will use them myself when we move to the city this summer.

    These guys were very prompt.  They inspected the house and gave everything a good looking over.  They took a lot of pictures and were very knowledgeable.  They estimated the hot water heater to be over 10 years old, the roof shingles were 20 years old, and the oil furnace and heating system were in imminent danger of failing.
    In reality, both my plumber and furnace guy have remarked on how well maintained the heating system is (the sound heard during the inspection was water hammer from the sink), the guy who did the gutters (who had very good reason to tell me otherwise) said the shingles were at most 10 years old and in good condition, and the mystery as to the age of the water heater was solved after looking at the sticker that read "manufactured 2011".
    We are new home owners and we love our house.  The inspection report from NPI gave us serious reservations about buying this place.  I do not mind the whole home inspection process prior to closing on a house (I believe in its importance), but when you see what you get for the money you've paid it just feels like a racket.

    Men On The Move
    Guys were really nice, courteous, and professional.  They claimed at the end that I owed an additional $125 (based on $12.5 per hour) for a fuel surcharge.  That was not mentioned in my estimate.  I was shown by the leader of the moving crew that I signed at the beginning of the move a paper that says somewhere on it that i owe this fee.  I asked why he did not review this charge with me in the beginning of the move in the way other charges were reviewed with me. I asked what this charge was not included in the estimate. He called his boss, and they dropped that charge.

    Over all, it was a terrible experience. They told me the job would take 4-5 days, and it actually took over 2 weeks to bring over the final truckload and put the billiard table back together. The co-owner John gave me the lowest price quote of all the movers I interviewed, but when it came time to settle the bill, he wanted to charge me TRIPLE what his "estimate" was. They broke 3 items, and did not tighten ANY of the screws on my sons bunk-beds! If I had not noticed this it would have collapsed under his weight and he surely would have been injured. they used these gigantic heavy boxes, and items that weren't even breakable, were wrapped in paper 5 inches thick. (they charge you for every piece of material they use, including the paper). They packed my expensive Swarovski  crystal collection and threw it in a box with TOYS! What a nightmare! We couldn't make sense of ANY of the boxes because what was written on the box didn't even come close to matching the contents. One of the WORST experiences EVER .....!
