    Katz-Gerrish, Dr. Julie B.
I have been seeing Dr. Katz-Gerrish for a few years.  Since finding her, my pain has been nearly eliminated..  Prior to this, I could not even stand up straight.  My pain was continuous and I was plagued with multiple muscular back spasms.  With her continuing treatment, I am now living a very active and pain-free life.  I am very pleased with her services.  She utilizes a combination of osteopathic manipulative medicine with a general holistic approach to her services, concomitant with a genuine concern for her patients' well-being.  Her knowledge of the human spine is unparalleled, and in conjunction with her skill  using the most current technologies available as well as her unyielding interest in her patients' health, in my opinion, is illustrative of her great success as an Osteopathic physician whom I can recommend without reservation.

    Holy Name Hospital
Jonathon Hirsch, a patient advocate, can be reached at 201-833-3073. He is one of the most caring, professional specialist I know of, and I have serviced the hospitals in the entire northeast. One of their specialties is their Sleep Study Center, which I would rate a 10 on a scale from 1-10.

    Jorge Fernandez
Jorge is a licensed massage therapist. He essentially does specific muscle work. He is very different than a regular chiropractor. He helps me with my scoliosis, that I have had since I was very young. He is very top notch. He treats specific ailments. He strives to take care of you in one session. I have been seeing him for around 8 years. He can hurt quite a bit sometimes but he will find the root of the problem and often it is effective. He will tell you to avoid activities for a few days and it will work. He does a wide variety of things, including helping people with infertility, vertebrae issues. He lived in Russia and Spain and knows fluent russian and spanish. He has worked with many professional skaters. He will not work with people with transplants or foreign objects by way of surgery. It is non-invasive treatment with a broad range of knowledge of anatomy. It is $100 for a 45 minute session. Sometimes he will go over the time and not charge you extra. He has regular clients but he has flexibility. His office is very neat, clean and well-maintained. It is small but he has all he needs. His wife does all his administrative work. He is blind, which allows him to compensate to others. He is very appropriate. He has become a friend through providing great service for many years.

    Bonnie Sidler MD
Dr. Sidler was the one that noticed that something was wrong, but the other doctors weren?t able to find that. She saw that there was something wrong with the albumin count in my regular blood test. If it wasn?t for her, I don?t think it would have been detected because there were no symptoms. She is like my hero. She was the one that sent me to the hematologist initially. She is really good as far as osteoporosis is concerned. I have been seeing her for four years now. I love her. She is very compassionate and easy to talk to. She is very knowledgeable, meticulous and thorough. She spends time with me if I need it. If I have any questions for her, she takes her time and she answers everything. She didn?t rush me and I liked that. I also like her Canadian accent. It was different and kind of charming. I trust her completely. I can ask her anything. She asks me good questions. She is a very down to earth and lovely person besides being a good doctor. That makes it easier when we have to go and I look for doctors like that. In fact, she is out of my insurance network now, but I will still go to her because I am very grateful to her and she is a very good doctor too. I don?t want to look anywhere else. I like her a lot.

    Stack, Dr. Thomas J
He is a really good guy. He is an osteopath. The experience is great and he has amazing hours. He actually takes appointments until 9 pm, which is really convenient. He is very thorough and he takes time. He does basically everything I would want a physician to do. I have no complaints with him. They could improve a little on staff friendliness.

    Richard F. Smith, D.O.
Dr. Smith evaluated me, then worked gently and quickly to help counter the spasms. This was immediately relieving but the damage was intense and so I saw him for about 10 consecutive weekly sessions which helped immensely. He communicated thoroughly and kept excellent records of my progress and relapses and made suggestions for excercises and stretches and let me know he saw slow but steady progress which indicated that my body was healing and would continue healing. His osteopathic manipulations around the spine and neck were gentle, yet I could feel them deeply and sometimes he said he was working deeply and to rest later. On one of those occasions I questoned (to myself) if he was actually doing anything, as it felt so subtle. When I stood up, my whole body felt like it was put together differently, and as the day went on, my hips and shoulders and neck felt like they had each endured heavy labor and ached deeply. The next morning I woke up and felt like I had turned the corner on my healing and have been steadilyl improving since.

He has a nice demeanor. He is very educated and seems to know what he is talking about. There is not much of a wait in the office. I can really trust him with my health. I also have an insurance copay.
