    Feldman, Dr. Hal D.
My family and I have treated with many physicians in the Township of Huntington. Dr. Feldman is "exceptionally knowledgeable and talented" while maintaining a caring bedside manner. His outstanding reputation proceeds him. I have and will continue to refer friends, family and coworkers knowing I am providing them the opportunity to have exceptional care. Thank you Dr Feldman! Hospital for Special Surgery
Nursing staff and PA's were beyond excellent. Everyone was nice. The aids varied. Some aids were superior in work ethic and quality of care and some just ok - but none were bad. PT was good with exercises, walking and stairs, but I wasn't really ready to go home to get in and out of bed - PT didn't focus on that at all really and has been really problematical at home. The Education Seminar really didn't prepare enough for challenges of going home after surgery - so that the home could be prepared. As for after surgery it focused on exercises, socks, commodes, and reaching yes. Unfortunately Sleeping needs sitting and laying down needs not focused on enough, other than the purchase of a cushion and toilet seat. The idea of having the education seminar was great, just could help more with the 24 our issues of sleeping or sitting. Hospital was absolutely immaculate. One person was nicer than the next. Not a mean person among the hospital staff I encountered bed side. They did a great job with pain management, with the exception when nurses had to line up to get medicine disbursed, and when a nurse from another floor who was working my floor had to get permission from a superior who was not immediately available, to get meds - the meds were unnecessarily delayed and pain increased. Thee were many exceptional nurses, I'd like to give a shout out to Colleen and to Whitney who were beyond exceptional.

    Wayne Altman MD
If you go on Yelp, there are negative reviews, and it is not true, I have gone to this guy for years. I think people go in and whine a lot. It is not fair. There is nothing that I don't like about him. He took care of my kid when he was in football and broken in bits and pieces, and I needed to have a knee replacement. He doesn't have a good bedside manner, but he is a great doctor. Whenever I have wanted to see him, I have been able to see him within a week, or immediately for an emergency. The wait time is just 10 minutes of your appointed time.

    Hospital for Special Surgery
It was a great experience. The surgery was excellent. The specialists there are highly regarded; they know what they are doing, and know how to treat patients. The staff is just topnotch. Everyone is professional; they know what they are supposed to do, and they do it. In terms of the effectiveness of treatment, I am still under therapy, but it has been good so far and the billing has been good too.

    Enker, Dr. Paul
From start to finish, the experience was smooth and reassuring. I was quite nervous about having a total hip replacement procedure, but I had reached a point where I was in constant pain and unable to function well. Dr. Enker had a very nice bedside manner and explained the entire procedure to me, the good as well as the bad and I felt I was in very capable hands. I never had to wait long for appointments and all X-rays are done in house, which is convenient. The actual surgery went very well. I was up and walking later the same day. I let the hospital after three days and was getting around with only a cane five days later. I felt like I had a new lease on life. The procedure Dr. Enker does is called the anterior hip replacement or also the minimally invasive version. This does not cut any muscles and allows the patient a rapid recovery with very little restrictions. I would strongly recommend Dr. Enters services in the future.

    Zuckerman, Joseph D
I liked Dr. Z from the first moment. He explained the surgery in detail, showed me a prototype of the appliance that would be inserted into my leg, explained the detail of the operation and I was well informed as to all procedures. The pain control at The Hospital for Joint Disease was exemplary and I also underwent my physical therapy two floors down within the hospital itself. In six weeks I was walking with just a cane. In two months I was walking normally and was climbing large hills within three months. I would highly recommend this physician and his hospital.

    Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group
It went great.  It's a big practice so don't expect the fuzzy warmth from the receptionists or staff but I didn't go there to make friends, I went to get fixed.  Dr. Price explained everything and answered any and all questions I had.  The procedure was quick and I walked out and was up and around the following day.  The waiting room is big and spacious and I never had more then a 15 minute wait which is great for an orthopedic office.  I would highly recommend if you need any work done.

    Unis, Dr. George L
while my medical issues weren't very demanding, I very much appreciated his good common sense approach to my problem. He has excellent social graces, which I have found to be a rare quality. And he's very positive and encouraging. Wish all my doctors were like him.

    Meese, Dr. Michael A
Dr. Meese is not a warm and fuzzy person. However, he is a very competent and attentive doctor. The wait is often very long in his office. I went to physical therapy after both surgeries. After the second surgery, the damage was more severe, so I had to have a series of three shots (synvix, I think). Now, it's up to the shots and if I can lose weight to see if I need more surgery. Dr. Meese was always receptive to my suggestions and listened to me. I will stay with him when the time comes for partial or complete knee replacement. The office has moved to a new facility on Elm St, in Hackensack, about a mile south of its old location. It's a much bigger waiting room. The staff is friendly, but sometimes overwhelmed.

    Healy III, Dr. William
He is very down to earth and very personable.  He gives everything to you straight and does not beat around the bush.  These two knee surgeries required a lot of physical therapy and he was able to set all this up for me.  The whole office is always very helpful.
