    CTNY Tech On-Site Computer Services
CTNY Tech was referred to me several months ago when I had a new HP PC . At that time, I needed several items done including: install computer protection software, fix Optimum with new reliable equipment-installed new Modum and Router. Subsequently on return visits he updated the Microsoft office, changed various settings including e-mail, assisted me with various issues and always explained everything and instructed me. Bob is an excellent computer technician, and can do anything! He is patient, professional, and proficient. His charges are reasonable; you can find CTNY TECH online on his website.

Very well. Jason was very helpful. He's done much more complex work for me in the past: Upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10; installing an initializing a new PC when my old one slowed down significantly and was running out of storage. Jason is very thorough and patient.

    Scosa LLC
Scott helped me break thing down in understanding what was going on and how I could prevent it from happening further. He was very clear with what was going to happen and the prices, and kept to the timeline he said he would. Pretty much was always around if I contacted, and I feel comfortable going to him with any issues in the future involving my PC. I've been nickle and dimed from so many businesses where they send it to another group of people, and this was NOT that experience.

It was terrible, they destroyed my computer, had to buy new one. Please don't use this company. My computer was working ok except I was getting message about my charger. I wanted them to upgrade from windows 7 to 10 also. Franco was watching Oscars ceremony and didn't pay any attention what was happening with my computer. The upgrade lasted from 3 pm until 2 am. I would call and Bob would pick up and call Franco and leave him a message since he wasn't there. When Frank tested the system - it was very slow and he told me that it will be slow at the beginning because of new upgrade, but then it will be ok. It wasn't ok, I had to wait 30 minutes for file to be printed. System components were failing, I couldn't open, look at adobe files, microsoft edge wasn't working at all. when I called DELL I was told that my computer was too old to be upgraded to windows 10. Before upgrade I asked Bob about this possibility and was told not to worry,. At this point I didn't trust the guys to go inside and have control of my computer and asked for my money back -$150.(which Bob told me would be $99 but Franco changed it to $150) . Bob told me that I was a pain in the *** and they wouldn't refund my money. So in other words- I wasn't nice enough for them to do the job right or to refund my money. You really have to be careful with these guy, they try to project this all american clean cut image - they told me they were veterans. they speak with this confident voice and use your name in every sentence, but they are essentially parasites that try to get your money at any cost. I reported this already to Angie's list staff. I ended up buying a new computer for $530 and have appointment with the local repair person for $70 to install it and to transfer data from the old computer.

Jason diagnosed and fixed issues that another tech had wasted my time and money on. He is technically excellent, priced fairly, prompt, and most of all is he patient with those not computer literate. This is a skill equal in importance to technical expertise. Would recommend without reservation.

Jason Luft is a computer wiz. It's that simple. There isn't much he can't do. He was prompt and his price was fair. I will be using him again to help set up a web site in the near future.

Everything went well. It took a couple of tries to find the correct memory chip, but Amvean did all the work in a timely fashion and kept my issues on their front burner. Vic is extremely knowledgeable and he is bringing along his junior colleague Naz who is very customer friendly and will research quickly any issue that he is not sure of.
