It was excellent and I've gone through them for years even after they move to their new office 15 years ago. I have friends that lived up and switched to them. They have convenient office and they do a good job. They are all very friendly and nice. I never had a problem.

I did not like them at all, they were awful and they treat people horribly. I thought I was the only one being picky but I wasn’t, lot of people complained about them. They seemed to work fast and that was the reason I stuck with them. I had them for a couple of years. They really don’t care what is going on and they stand and talk when the patient is there. They office itself was rather small and it not hard to get an appointment. They have 5 physicians.

I am new to the Southtowns and needed a dentist close to where I live. This practice is conveniently located right off of the 400 - so easy to get to, or it is just on the other side of the village of East Aurora. The moment I pulled into the parking lot I thought two things 1. Wow this office is NICE! It can't be a dentist office. 2. The parking lot is full of cars .... I hope I don't have to wait. Once inside the front desk staff was friendly and helpful! And it was busy but they did a great job of getting me (and other patients too!) back to be seen. I hardly sat in the waiting room. My hygienist was so friendly and she was very thorough - she seemed to do a great job. The dentist came in - Dr. Whipple - and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He even took a few minutes to sit and answer my questions for me. I will definitely be going back in 6 months for my check up and will make Westermeiere and Martin Dental Care and quot;myand quot; dentist. I will request to see Dr. Whipple again.

They always have consistent dental techs and are exceptional. They also offer sedation dentistry and have professional nurse anesthetists on staff. I think they're very professional and efficient. You're not rushed through your appointments. I have recommended their services to family and my sister and children go to them.

Very friendly and professional dentist and staff. The environment was clean and comfortable. They were helpful and prompt with insurance billing, although they do require up-front payment. Highly recommend this professional, although I wish they would become an and quot;in networkand quot; provider for my dental insurance.

The appointment went well...virtually no wait time. Was treated coldly by the receptionist, as we had had it out on the phone several times, and was taken back to a room. Dr. K. said he was able to fix the cracked teeth and I believe used some type of bonding agent. (Only to find out later there must have been decay underneath which continued to progress). I was happy with the appearance of my teeth at that point. Two of those teeth are the ones that had to be pulled by my new dentist.
I would like to mention that the hygienists who work there are wonderful, friendly, and have a great bedside manner.
Every time I left his office, I would ask at the desk if I have a balance. The answer was always, and quot;noand quot;. Then I would get a bill in the mail for a couple hundred dollars which had gone to collections!

They are outstanding. You call, you get an appointment, and when you go in you sit down and then they come get you. The services and the professionalism is just wonderful. The reason I keep going back is they treat me the best.

It went very well for both my husband and me. We both had to fill out a history form that becomes a reference chart for the Dr and staff - has diagrams of upper of lower jaw and place for notes etc. I'd recommend having the names and phone numbers of your contact person (other than someone who lives with you.) Also phone no of your primary Dr. The office is beautiful and immaculately clean. The staff are all friendly and they like to laugh a lot, so it's a happy place.
My husband has almost all his teeth, so his exam took longer - he had up to three people working on him at one time. I have a full upper plate and only about half my bottom teeth, so my examine didn't take as long. The technician was careful to explain each step as most of the equipment was new to me. All digital x-ray equipment, but they still use lead apron protectors - even though they aren't really needed. They were able to show the x-rays to me and explained the importance of flossing below the gumline. Turns out I was doing ok with that and she said so - positive reinforcement. I was worried there would be pressure to have dental implants in the lower jaw, but he examined me carefully and said, for now, as long as I'm not having problems and I'm able to chew, it'sok to leave well enough alone. I like the philosophy of and quot;if it ain't broke, don't fix itand quot;. So I was impressed with that. Since our visits were exams only, there was no pain or stress and I don't expect any with subsequent visits. A very positive and stress-free change of dental provider over-all.

    Clauss Jr, Dr. Joseph G.
I have been using him since 1990. He is a very good dentist, and I have a lot of confidence in what he does. I enjoy going to him. I have lived in three different houses. I first went to him when I lived in Pittsburgh, and his office was 200 miles away from where I lived; I would drive from Pittsburgh to visit him. I lived in Pittsburgh for three years, and he was the only dentist I ever went to in that whole time. I ended up moving back here, but when I was living in Pittsburgh, I had no idea I would ever move back here. I have never had any issues with him. He has a good staff. When I started to go there, he was second in command there; his father ran the office, and now he runs the office. His son has completed dental school. We are around to the third generation there. I would rate him highly and would continue to use him in the future.

I have been going to Dr. Clauss for many years and now my husband goes to his son in the practice. Dr. Clauss is meticulous, professional and very pleasant. I have experienced many arrogant and condescending doctors in my lifetime, and I am very fortunate to be his patient. It isn't easy going to the dentist when you have to have major work done, but Dr. Clauss has such a calming demeanor and has always been in an upbeat mood, that soon you will feel more relaxed. He takes his time, describes what needs to be done and is very thorough.
