AWhen our child becomes ill, we can usually get an appointment the same day. We don't wait for long in the waiting room, they always seem to be on schedule. The staff is kind and answers questions courteously.

AEveryone from the e.r. Staff to ward staff were very caring and skilled. I felt like a VIP guest. I was extremely ill with sepsis and pancreatitis. I always felt I was in good hands. The nursing staff on 2 west was phenomenal for both my hospital stays. Each time I was later transfered to a larger medical center, Fletcher Allen in VT.

APhysicians Regional Medical CenSurgery went well. Recovery was problematic due, I believe, to inadequate instructions on how to deal with certain post-operative conditions.- Frank R.

AAdirondack Medical CenterThey are very helpful people. The first time, they did a very wonderful job. But, the second time that was not very + awesome than before. Overall, I am grading them an A. I will use them again in the future.- John R.

ABrooks Memorial HospitalThey were pretty satisfactory; nothing really stood out. The maternity department was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and supportive. They were very friendly.- Denise K.

ACleveland Clinic FloridaI am so happy to have discovered the Cleveland Clinic Florida. The care delivered by the Doctors and staff were excellent. They on several occasions provided same or next day appointments. hereThe staff is conscientious and caring, the atmosphere is calming and clean. The only downside are the waits to see the Doctors.. This is actually a good thing, because most physicians spend a lot of time with each patient. Very fortunate to have this facility in the area.- Bennett H.

AFletcher Allen Hlth CareThis is a fantastic hospital. The nursing staff was exceptional. The specialists (neurosurgery) were extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I highly recommend Fletcher Allen Hospital.- Carolyn Z.

BClaxton-Hepburn Medical CenterIt was a fine experience. I got good care. The doctor was attentive. I didn't have to wait long for the diagnostic stuff. The triage process was smooth. I chose them because they are the only regional hospital that does this.- Elizabeth H.

BMedina Memorial HospitalI went in was very early in the morning I went in was taken back to a room I was seen by a nurse at 1st and within a half hour by the doctor he talked to me ran some test and later gave me some medication to take away the pain and the other to treat the underlying cause. It was not a perfect visit but better then ones I had before there.- Kevin S.

CMedina Memorial HospitalThey sit around and talk to each other about their everyday lives rather than getting the patients taken care of. The ER is the worst. ICU is not to bad but there are some nurses that are not great on that floor and the 2nd floor is pretty bad also.- Melissa M.

DCANTON POTSDAM HOSPITALI waited in a seemingly empty waiting room for 2 hours, then was escorted to a room and waited about 45 minutes to talk to a nurse. Another 40 minutes for the X-ray technician to come get me for the X-ray. Luckily, I just ended up with some very deep bruises. I really dislike that the staff seems to be completely inconvenienced by patients coming in.- Jennifer C.

FSt James Mercy HospitalWhen I arrived in the Emergency Room at 8:30 PM and I was carrying a plastic bag to get sick in. The lady who checks patients in immediately asked me the normal questions, got me a wheelchair and sent someone to get me into a room. About 10 minutes after sitting in the room, a nurse came to put an IV in. I am an adult, but am still very apprehensive of needles. I told her this, she laughed, opened her IV bag up, and as she was sticking the IV in me, said I would be fine. After 3 attempts in different locations, the IV wasn't working and she had blown each vein they had attempted to out the IV in. I told her that I wanted to sign a paper so that I could leave, that this was worse than the vomiting. She scoffed at the idea, and left the room. At about 9:20 (45 minutes later) another nurse stopped in the room and let me know that they were dealing with to critical patients and were finished up and the doctor should be in shortly. Until 11:45 PM, the only person that I saw was a man who came into my room 4 different times, without knocking or any words spoken, to get some items from a closet in my room. At quarter to midnight, I left my room myself and went to the desk where four nurses and the doctor were eating. I asked if I could have the paper to sign and leave. The doctor told me to give him 5 minutes to finish his sandwich, that I was up next. I agreed, and went back to my room. When the doctor came in, it was apparent that he didn't look at my chart, as he was pushing on my stomach, in which I reminded him that I had just had surgery 24 hours before on. He looked shocked, took a look at my incisions, and asked why I had come to the ER. I explained to him my situation. He looked at my hives and explained that it was a delayed reaction to the gas mask I wore during surgery. Nothing was prescribed for the itchy or discomfort it caused. I later found out I had a breathing tube, and was never on an oxygen mask. He gave me a pill to settle my stomach and a prescription for the next day, since all the pharmacies were closed. 5 minutes later, I was on my way home. The ER visit lasted almost 4 hours for vomiting and a rash.- Julie E.
