    Tree Doctor
They come out a couple times a year to spray. They did a major tree trimming on 3 of our trees. He's a certified arborist. He's very good. He's one of the best guys in the area. His prices may be a little high but they're very professional, they clean up everything, they have chipper they bring with them. They have buckets for when the branch is too high.

    Woodpecker Tree Service
Jim and his crew were amazing! They dealt with my extraordinarily large tree in my small yard and kept everything out of my neighbor's yard.  They were professional, curteous, fun to work with.  I would call them back in a heartbeat!

Called for estimate 10/20/16, she came that afternoon. She said they could do it the next day due problem with equipment. The cost was he lowest of all four other estimates!! Crew showed up in the rain, completed the job quickly and cleaned up. I would definitely call Andy's again.

    Kelley's Tree Service Inc
excellent! I explained my situation to them on the phone and they came right over, gave me a very reasonable quote - $450 less than the other quote I received - and came the next day and did a great job trimming the tree! Nick and his team were very nice and polite and cleaned up the yard perfectly when they were finished. Highly recommend!!!

    MAC Services
Pretty well, I had to call and remind them to come, they seem to have forgotten, but a crew of two young men did come the day I called.  I agreed to a certain rate per man hour with owner Mark.  They charged me a flat $600 even though the hours they spent times the rate they quoted would have been about 20% less.  The work they did was acceptable  ( they had to use my ladder for the limbs, they didn't bring one) If you use them I would recommend getting detailed estimate of what is to be done and how much will be charged.  They didn't have to haul away any debris since i had a place for it.  I think the price was a bit high, all things considered.

The work was satisfactory, but not totally professional.   For instance, they needed to borrow my ladder and I had to give them snacks to eat (no biggie).
Mark quoted me $35/man-hour and estimated 16 hours of work which would come to $560.
The thing is, 2 guys were here from 1 to 7 pm so total 12 man hours, should be about $420.    They charged me $600, and said it really came to more than that, but that was all their boss would let them charge me because of what he quoted.
If they would have charged me as quoted, i would have hired them again, but not after i feel i was overcharged.

    AJ's Tree Service
Excellent. Very professional. AJ's performed the agreed upon work and more. All the trees and brush were removed as we discussed. In addition they trimmed the trees that we left standing. Everything was done very quickly and their price was better than other quotes that I received. All of AJ's people were very friendly. This company is very well equipped and I sure that they could handle very large trees.

Hoppy's responded quickly to a disaster...a huge tree was hit by lightening and landed on my garage: where my car was parked, my sail boat mast, floorboards, tiller, etc.  Also, all my tools.  I called Hoppey's and in a day they were here with bucket truck, wood chipper and full crew.   In four hours they had the job done.  They also left me all useful wood, as I have a woodburning fireplace.  The crew was polite, fast, knew exactly what to do and how to deal with my insurance company.  The tree was not mine or on my property.   Also, their price was much better than any other estimate I received.   I am a widow, so getting ripped off seems to be a game to some contractors.  Finally, his office staff is excellent, keeping the owner on track, as his firm gets really busy.  Finally, I have used them for non-insurance related services:  tree pruning and removal.  No complaints.

    Al's Tree Service
Had them come in for an estimate, made the appointment for 11/4/13. They called on Saturday before to confirm and to let me know the time they would be here. Came right on time. Huge crew came, trimmed my tree beautifully. Cleaned up everything. approximate amount of time was about 2 hours. The tree looks great and I no longer fear it crashing down on my sunroom roof or the garage. Would definitely hire them again. They were professional, efficient and did a great job.

    Al's Tree Service
Arrived on time and for the most part cleaned up. However they left big divots in the lawns, which they filled with the wood chips from the stumping. The stumping left dirt and wood chips up to about five feet from were the stumps were. There are still a couple of partial stumps that need to be removed. They removed concrete barriers for their equipment and just placed them were they wanted and not were they were.
I now have to hire a landscaper to fix my lawn from the divots and other equipment damage. It felt like they had no respect for the lawn and the damage they were doing and all they wanted to do was get the trees down and stumped. They were also asked not to drop the trees to avoid the damage of the divots(must have fallen on deaf ears) before they started.
