Perfect - after calling received an immediate response - Ron was out the next day to review the chimney and write up a quote for the repairs. I was given a date for when the repairs would begin - repairs were completed and my chimney looks brand new! Excellent service!

It went well. The crew (which included the owner) worked hard to contain and remove as much debris as they could. Their craftsmanship was remarkable; the new chimney looks clean and sleek. Further, Kaied and office staff were professional, very responsive and friendly.

We contacted AVA in the late spring and 3 months later we have a new roof on our house. Tony and Vitality are pleasure to work with. One thing I like the most is they're all business and they deliver what's on their contract. I've had 5 estimates from top contractors on Angie's list and we felt like AVA was the only one that took time to explain and cared about my roof and wanted to make sure we understood everything we talked about. He provided PDF estimate with photo inspection at the end. Three days later we signed our agreement.

Great. The owner came out and took pictures of the chimney inside and out. Explained why the inside was deteriorating and what could happen down the road. He sent us the pictures and estimate. We went with it and were extremely happy with the results. The guy who came out to do the work was wonderful. The job is perfect!

This company was hired to do a complete tear off and roof replacement, gutters and downspouts.. chimney repair, and railings for upper porch, replace sill plate front corner of house.
The roof job was a nightmare, right from the start , poor quality work, poor clean-up resulting in 2 flat tires on our vehicles, sloppy work leaving bare wood exposed, corners left unfinished, busted to shutters on house, had to get them back twice to repair roof, shingles already falling off, hasn't even been a month.
chimney was left unsealed, project formen forgot to tell them to come back and seal it, leaked into upstairs closet. Had to call to get them back for that. replaced 18" section of sill plate, supposed to be two 6-8 foot sections, had to redo that.
gutter contractor had to have them come back and repair fascia and rotted wood they left in order to hang gutters. 2 weeks later , and numerous phone calls we finally got gutters.
chimney had to have a new flue, at additional cost, unfortunately improperly vented which caused backdraft of exhaust gases into hot water tank exhaust vent. Had to have that redone, unfortunately the patch job to chimney is crumbling.
We have a skylight in our finished attic and apparently they didn't seal the roof around it properly  as it is leaking, black streaks running down walls. Talked to secretary on 1/2/12 who called back and stated someone would be here the next day to repair. still waiting.................................................... PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR.........YOU WILL REGRET IT

    UPDATE 1/23/12

First and foremost, Mr. Steffan did us no favors asking for no downpayment, it was a 203K loan, he couldn't ask for a downpayment, no monies are paid until work is completed, as he was told by our realtor, us, Mr. Watson and the bank. He also signed a contract with the bank and HUD that stated this. He was not forced to take this job and had all the info that we had going into this. Payment was not delayed , rather work was not completed. NO REPAIR HAS EVER BEEN MADE TO THE SKYLIGHT.
He did send 2 workers back to seal the chimney, which they could not seal the day they did the roof due to weather, however we had to call after it was leaking into one of the bedroom closets that the chimney runs through, this was 4 days later. The foreman had by his own admission forgotten to tell them to come back.
As for the gutters, when I called, his secretary was under the impression that they had already been done, apparently they had been ordered but nobody bothered to let anybody know, and strange that the gutter company he subcontracted with didn't show up to measure until after that call--so what exactly did he order? They also let him know that repairs had to be made in order to hang the gutters. Ron, page 3, under applications, make any necessary repairs that this work is dependent on for proper installation.
Mr. Steffan did recommend a new flex flue at an additional cost of $600, which we okayed. When upon inspection the backdraft of exhaust was discovered, he did send 2 workers over to repair, sloppy job, mortar falling apart, but we have already made arrangements to have it properly done.
He also recommended and had his employee relay ,upgrading a treated wood railing for our upper porch to a vinyl railing at an additional cost of $400. We agreed and are very pleased with this aspect of the job.

Sorry to say that while Mr. Steffan seems to feel that the inspector felt he went above and beyond, he never relayed those thoughts to us.  Rather the last comment made was don't SIGN the check until the work is completed and you are satisfied. Mr. Steffan should remember this as he was standing in the kitchen with us when the statement was made.

$15048 plus $1000 upgrades mentioned above, $16048, oh my the check was for $17108. (lets not forget the $560 in the contract for the painting and windows which WE DID) seriously?

And the next time you feel the need to call and rant and rave about how your just a nice guy trying to support your family, you may want to remember that we are also a nice family that have to pay for this fiasco as are the rest of your customers. Nobody likes to be taken advantage of or have to pay for lousy work. And nobody should have to call and call to get the job done right. Do it right the first time, and you won't have to whine about sending your guys out again. Our rating stands. We would not recommend WNY Home Pros as a contractor.

We were amazed at how quickly and efficiently this company performed.  It was a large crew of workers and each seemed to know what his job was and performed it perfectly.  After they were finished they completely cleaned up after themselves...and gave us a tour of the property and explained exactly what they had done to our home.  After they were gone there was no evidence of their presence with the exception of a beautiful new roof.  We called the company a couple of months later to address one minor issue which they resolved quickly and much to our satisfaction.

    MR SWEEP MONROE
Company was one of the lowest estimates I received. The house is very high with a steep roof and this seemed to inflate the price of everyone's estimate. This company completed the work in a timely manner and from what I can tell from ground level it was repaired as promised. I am basically satisfied with their work, I had hoped I would have found a place to do the work a bit cheaper, but taking into account the danger of climb, probably was a fail price.
