  Ryan, the Paintworks project manager, came exactly when he said he would, listened carefully to what I needed done, asked good questions, and made several excellent suggestions. The workers, Victor and Ivan, arrived exactly when they were scheduled (actually, a few minutes early.). Ryan was there to explain the job to them, and they got right to work. They moved my furniture carefully, and covered everything securely. After uncovering yesterday, it was clear that nothing had been chipped or spattered with paint. Victor did all of the actual painting on the first day, and finished one of the rooms completely, including several coats of a highly saturated red, which is a difficult color. The next day, Victor and Ivan worked together on the larger room. They finished that room, moved the furniture where I wanted it, and were out of my apartment by 3:00, MORE THAN TWO DAYS EARLY! All the work was done as I expected and hoped. Everyone with whom I had contact was pleasant and helpful. Many thanks to Paintworks, Ryan, Ivan, and especially Victor, for beautiful work!

  I set up the job with Ryan who was very professional and responsive. He came with the two painters to get things started and to make sure we were all on the same page. He made good suggestions for details I hadn't thought of. The painters fixed the damage, plastered and painted the rooms in two days. The walls are smooth, the trim, doors, and moldings are nicely finished. However, I found a lot of tiny paint splatters around the apartment, so the clean-up could have been better. It's something to check before the workers leave.

  I highly recommend Paintworks and Decorating to anyone in the New York area looking for a reliable and high quality partner to complete a renovation project of any kind. I met Ricky and Ryan a couple times to discuss the scope and budget for the project. Their pricing was extremely fair and transparent. Most important, the bulk of the project had to be completed during a two week window while I was out of the country. I took a leap of faith that Paintworks would get the job done properly and on time without any in person supervision, and needless to say it paid off. As with any project, the last 5% took the most time to complete (not Paintworks' fault). Ricky and Ryan actively followed up with me on a daily basis until every single punchlist item was complete and I was 100% satisfied. My project included: *Removal and replacement of all interior doors, trim and baseboards *Stripping of ~100 years of paint from interior and exterior door frames *Design and build of custom radiator covers with build in storage *Wiring Cat6, Coax and FIOS throughout apartment *Moving and adding electrical outlets *Paint job on walls and ceilings *Misc. cleanup of ~100 year old apartment features to look brand new

  Paintworks is THE best I have worked with. They completed a project to strip all of the wood trim and paint a Brooklyn Triplex while I was managing from Chicago. The project came out absolutely gorgeous!!! They were professional, took care to protect surfaces, used low VOC products, and took the time to ensure the best result. They were very responsive to every text and phone call. They even made a short video of the process for me to see the process since I couldn't be there. Their pricing was reasonable and I added some minor repairs to the list which they also completed with quality and timeliness.

  Started work very quickly. Foreman was great. Tile work was fabulous. Everything looked great in the end. Stuck to the contract pricing. Had to add some additional expenses because I wanted additional work. Did not like the electrician Alfred who took a long time to do his work. Had to visit often to ensure everything was as I wanted. When it wasn't they were quick to change it. The end result was stunning. Nearly everyone who saw the work asked who the contractor was.

  If you are looking for high quality renovation services with exceptional customer service, I would highly recommend Gaudioso Construction Inc. Anthony Gaudioso provided us with an accurate estimate of the costs for our work and a realistic work plan. His kept his promise of a dedicated foreman, consistent workforce, daily cleaning, and open and ongoing communications. Everyone was respectful, hard-working and knowledgeable about their task. We were in the midst of our work when we were forced to pause due the COVID19 pandemic, but before the crew stopped, they made sure that everything was as neat as possible and that our areas would be usable. When we were finally able to restart, the crew came back wearing masks, keeping their distance, supplied with necessary sanitizers and the like. They worked with us to move our work forward as quickly as possible. Our work included gut renovation of two bathrooms, painting of several areas, scraped floors an exterior fence and more. Everything came out simply beautiful and truly exceeded my expectations. Any issues, which were few, were promptly addressed and resolved. Gaudioso’s team wants to be sure that you are happy and they take great pride in their work product. After hearing the horror stories of others, I braced myself for the same. How wonderful to work with such a talented, dedicated and amazing team of professionals. Thank you, Anthony, Allison (who was the main communicator), Luis, our foreman, John, the designer recommended by Gaudioso who was so helpful in making the right choices for our home, and the many workers who were a pleasure to have in our home.   From my first phone call to Ryan to the completion of the job, everything was accomplished with professionalism. I believe on my first call, Ryan said "I'm here for you", and the ease of communications and the quality of the work backed up that statement. The price was very fair , and the job was completed in two days, which was a bonus for us. Super satisfied with the finished product.   Excellent moving organization. Two exceptionally obliging, tidy and expert professional movers appeared to move a little three-room home to another home a couple of miles away. These men worked, hard and completed the activity totally in an opportune way. Would have enlisted them to move another house seven days after the fact, yet they were altogether reserved. I have taken in an exercise there.

  Bob and Cheryl were wonderful they were here on time, worked full days and cleaned up after themselves. The work turned out beautiful and we receive lots of compliments. They always explained what they were doing and why. They were honest and trust worthy, we even left them a key to our house when we were at work!
