Louie was great! He was on time, explained everything to me before he did it so their was no surprises on the bill. Anyone I called for a quote were so expensive and made me feel like I was being robbed.

    Universe Home Services
The furnace repair went without a hitch and the gentleman who did the repairs was great. The hot water heater replacement had an issue where the gas was leaking after the repair and had to call National Grid in and then call Universal. The leak should have been discovered at the time of installation as the connection was never secured which cause the gas leak.

    Selective Sculptures
It was time to remodel our 12ft x 15ft kitchen. We attended home shows and also had several in-home estimates. Selective Sculptures presented us with several innovative design alternatives that best suited our needs. Their designer, Dominick, met with us on several occasions to discuss what we had in mind. He listened patiently, asked questions and made suggestions. He summarized what he thought was possible and proceeded to explain how our requirements and concerns would be managed. He was confident that this would be done to our satisfaction. We visited their showroom and were impressed by the selection of materials on display as well as the available staff there to help us. We reviewed plans and design changes with Scott who presented us with digital renditions. Dominick also spent a great deal of time assisting my wife with material selection. During the construction phase the owner and project manager, Mike, was readily available and easy to reach. He visited the site often and was always on top of things. The office staff, Jan in particular, was always there to navigate through our numerous concerns. The construction staff was professional, clean and considerate of our home. Our new kitchen is perfect. Our new cabinets offer maximum storage and organized convenience. The finishing touches such as crown, floor and cabinet molding are eye-catching. Beautiful quartz counter tops redesigned to offer more surface space. New appliances are perfectly integrated into the design. The new counter height peninsula/island has surface space that acts as a table as well as additional prep space. It also has spacious storage underneath. The new wood-look tile planking floor ties the whole design together. The comments from people that knew our old kitchen are quite complimentary. Wow! I cant believe this is the same space. I never would have thought such a transformation was possible. It is an absolute pleasure to cook and spend time in our new kitchen.

This review is a long time coming, but I am very pleased to add to the positive reviews for his company. I experienced a blockage in the waste pipe that runs from the house to the cesspool on no less than New Year's Day 2015. The last time this happened was almost two years prior, and I paid three times what I paid for the service back then. I only wish I had contacted Evergreen then . . . I had plans at 8 PM. Everything was going well and I was on track to leave on time when the blockage happened. I called Evergreen at 2 PM and they had not just a worker but the owner of the company stop by to resolve the issue about an hour later. He said he'd let his crew go home for the day, given it was New Year's Eve, and he was handling the remaining service calls personally. Unlike the other company, he never once set foot in the house. Instead, he created a vertical access tap into the waste pipe running from the house to the cesspool, with the access port located in my backyard near the foot of the outside deck. The work took place over two days - he dug the hole, accessed the pipe and snaked it on the 31st, and came back the next day to install the vertical tap itself. For this emergency service over two days, the price was more than reasonable, and the owner could not have been nicer. I heartily recommend this company to anyone experiencing any and all kinds of cesspool related issues.

    Ben Franklin Plumbing
Upon arrival, the plumber (Mike) quoted me $1,800 to complete the work. Not knowing any better as a first time homeowner, I hired him to complete. A few weeks after, I hired a different plumber for a different project in my home who reviewed the work and said it was done very sloppy. He did not properly sweat the connections, as well as did not properly support the new lines so they would not crack in the long run. The new plumber quoted me a cost of $500 to complete what the old plumber did and told me that historically this company seeks out people they can rip off (the one and done job customers). I am extremely unsatisfied with this company and would never hire them again, as well as I would tell and warn everyone not to use them. This company should not go after the one and done job, they should be looking for repeat customers. Remember, word of mouth goes a long way and I will be telling everyone how sloppy the job was done and how much of a rip off the price was.

    Dashing Dan's Plumbing & Heating
The plumber arrived on time, as promised (I called on a Sunday for a Monday morning appointment).  The man worked continuously without taking a break or interruption. He was clean, courteous, rolled out drop clothes from the entrance door all the way to the kitchen, was friendly and efficient. I will recommend this company to friends and neighbors if someone needs a plumber.

    Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup
The plumber showed up a little past the given arrival time and looked in the basement at the water on the floor. He unclogged the pipe, snaking a line thru the shower drain. The next evening the water reappeared in the basement. After calling Roto-Rooter  for another service call we were told he'd arrive in 20 mins. An hour later he showed up and it appeared the toilet paper that clogged the pipe cleared since it was on the basement floor.
He stated a cap was needed for one of the pipes but he didn't have one on his truck. There wouldn't be a charge. He would return the next day, the  3rd day of this issue, between noon and 2pm. He called about 1pm and said he was stuck on a job and would call later.
9 days later nothing. They have lost a customer

Gamco is a family owned and operated business.? The owner, Gordon Millard,?was ?hands-on? from start to finish. We met with him on several occasions before the start of the project.?? He was always willing to listen to our ideas and input.? He secured the architect, all permits and?accompanied us to Town Hall for a variance hearing.? Once work?started, he was at the house often to oversee the daily progress and to meet with the sub-contractors. The construction process went more quickly than we expected.? Gordon used quality subcontractors who were professional, timely, friendly and caring about their work. Even the Town building inspectors commented that they knew things would be done right if GAMCO was doing the job. That's not to say that there weren't a few glitches along? the way. But any issues were addressed immediately, and were totally resolved right away.? It has been about one year since the project was completed.? Settling has caused some expected cracks in sheetrock and the corners of the tiled walls.? Gordon has sent the spackler and tiler in to fix these. Gordon had promised daily cleanup and no dumpster in front of the house.? He held true to his word.? A GAMCO truck was at the house to pick up debris as needed.? There was never an unsightly look in the neighborhood. Our contact through his office was primarily?with Jeannie.?She was always courteous and friendly. Whenever we needed to reach Gordon, he got our messages right away, and our phone calls were answered promptly. We had estimates from other contractors.? One was higher.? Others were lower priced, but did not have the quality?referrals or ratings that GAMCO did.?Bottom line, we are extremely happy with this experience and the?outcome.? Neighbors have been complimentary on how quickly?the project went and how nice the house looks.?We would highly recommend GAMCO and would not hesitate to use GAMCO again.

    Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup
Made appointment on their web site. Received a call asking if I was available earlier and was, so within 15 mins  Hank arrived. Diagnosed the problem and replaced all the inside components. Cleaned the area where he worked.
