    B & B Painting by the Pro's Inc
Finished product was excellent, Brad & crew were very careful w/ moving & covering all furniture. They had to do a lot of re taping of ceiling seams & spackling, very professional. Will have them back to do other projects in the house

JBL Home Improvements is an excellent company! Dave and his wonderful staff are consummate professionals who take great pride in their work. They were on time, friendly and exemplary craftsmen. The result of their hard work was so great, I got a little emotional. They turned my water damaged den into a beautiful living area I can be proud of. They also replaced my laundry door! I highly recommend JBL Home Improvements! I look forward to working with this fine company again!

    Victory Building & Construction
The renovations went horrible ultimately I ended up letting this company go and hired a new contractor to fix everything that victory screwed up. I was ripped off and this company is currently under investigation with consumers affairs with multiple clients. They also did another home in the next town over from me who paid more money than I and is currently suing him in court. I put a complaint and hearing with scca which he never showed for, the client who lived close by me says he never showed for his court date with them either. His licensed is currently revoked. Be aware and stay away from this company [*** Link removed ***] Here is the proof of the work that was done in my home on the link above, this contractor stole $14,300 from me, was dishonest on his estimate and took advantage of a me as a 1st time home owner. Jim and his wife Maryann who run victory fine homes aka victory Building and construction are good talkers to get service but immediately turn on you once the project is started. They stall time start begging for money and to be honest these guys spent 6-8 days working on my home within a 4 1/2 week period. i also received threats after confronting owners on the horrible work and was threatened if i let them go that i would be reported to the town of Babylon for not obtaining permits after Jim made the Suggestion not to get permits for electrical an plumbing. my signature was forged on documents for payments, these guys claim to know about 203k loans however they are not lucrative to fund projects and they keep hounding for money. Jim put tile on top of tile which makes it more likely for my floor to crack and told me if i wanted it done properly that i have to pull up old tiles myself in order to have it done properly although his contract does not say this. now i have to fix on even tiles in my kitchen, does not properly prepare walls for paint and tries to cover up holes on walls with molding which now i have to repaint and patch properly. This company does not take accountability for their actions and instead makes threats towards consumers please be aware i have a police report out and also have pending investigations open with local agencies. i would include the nasty text and emails that i received but you will eventually see what i mean if you decide to use this company. they suggest that they are very known and reputable but in fact they are not i tried to do my research and found not much besides the reviews they may have given themselves and that the business is ran from their home in bay shore.

    Selective Sculptures
It was time to remodel our 12ft x 15ft kitchen. We attended home shows and also had several in-home estimates. Selective Sculptures presented us with several innovative design alternatives that best suited our needs. Their designer, Dominick, met with us on several occasions to discuss what we had in mind. He listened patiently, asked questions and made suggestions. He summarized what he thought was possible and proceeded to explain how our requirements and concerns would be managed. He was confident that this would be done to our satisfaction. We visited their showroom and were impressed by the selection of materials on display as well as the available staff there to help us. We reviewed plans and design changes with Scott who presented us with digital renditions. Dominick also spent a great deal of time assisting my wife with material selection. During the construction phase the owner and project manager, Mike, was readily available and easy to reach. He visited the site often and was always on top of things. The office staff, Jan in particular, was always there to navigate through our numerous concerns. The construction staff was professional, clean and considerate of our home. Our new kitchen is perfect. Our new cabinets offer maximum storage and organized convenience. The finishing touches such as crown, floor and cabinet molding are eye-catching. Beautiful quartz counter tops redesigned to offer more surface space. New appliances are perfectly integrated into the design. The new counter height peninsula/island has surface space that acts as a table as well as additional prep space. It also has spacious storage underneath. The new wood-look tile planking floor ties the whole design together. The comments from people that knew our old kitchen are quite complimentary. Wow! I cant believe this is the same space. I never would have thought such a transformation was possible. It is an absolute pleasure to cook and spend time in our new kitchen.

    DeArteaga Construction
Overall, the regrouting/recaulking of the bathrooms was good and neat. The painting of the 2nd floor bathroom was fine. The new light fixture in this bathroom is good but the vanity is not secured to the wall and thus, there is some movement in the vanity since the floor is not totally level. Additionally, the dining area ceiling shows seams and areas where the spackling shows. The ceiling fan vibrates when higher than the first or lowest setting and there are clear scratches in the ceiling near the ceiling fan, probably caused by the wet spackle and attempts to hang the ceiling fan. Lastly, one the last day, Al decided he would get my screen fixed and return it once it was fixed. He completed work at the end of September 2016 and my window screen has not yet been returned. Many calls and text messages to Al and DeArteaga Construction have gone unanswered, thus I have now incurred the cost of a new replacement screen from Andersen Windows because my original screen has not be returned and probably afterall this time, will never be.

    CertaPro Painters of East Islip
I hired CertaPro to paint my living room, dining room, hallway, and entryway. They were extremely professional and efficient. Their lines were absolutely perfect, and they made my once hole-ridden walls look perfectly smooth. Four painters completed the job in just seven hours, and they cleaned up after themselves when they were done. Highly recommended!

    Home Beautiful Painting Inc
It was very thorough. They sent one man and he spent two days.  They had to do a lot of sparkling so basically that is what we did. We did do sparkling; we haven't done any painting yet. It was inside. He was very pleasant and knew what he was doing.

    B & B Painting by the Pro's Inc
Pete did do some corking around molding along the walls which was a nice surprise.  Pete was very nice, came on time.  Could have cleaned the dust from sanding a little better around the light fixture.  Otherwise I was very happy with the job, and would use them again.

    Frank's Painting

Franks crew came as expected and did a nice job. I gave a "B" on the price, because of the way the estimate was given to me - it was based on a daily rate, per guy, to finish the job. They got it done a day earlier but yet were inflexible about taking "2 days worth of pay" for the job, versus 3. So, when you do the math they got $400 a day, versus the initial quote of $285 per guy. Nonetheless, we were happy with the outcome. It looks amazing, the crew was very neat and respectful of my home and it was very appreciated.
