    Brass Eye Center
Once it was determined that my eyes needed to have the slow growing cataracts removed, Dr. Brass and his team quickly set up all of the preoperative, operative and post operative appointments that would be required. My wife and I spoke to a counselor in Dr. Brass' office who answered all of our questions. In addition, I was provided with a packet of items that would prove helpful during the two separate surgeries needed and they had all of the prescription eye drops needed ordered at my local pharmacy for pick up that same day.. Although the thought of having surgery on my eyes was creepy, I found that these procedures were easier than having a filling done at the dentist. For both of my procedures, My wife and I arrived at the outpatient eye center and was on my way home in just a few hours. No pain! During the surgery I was in a 'light' anesthesia 'haze' and not specifically aware of what was occurring, although Dr. Brass spoke to me throughout.. This is a good thing! The procedure itself took all of 15 minutes and after a short stint in "Post Op" found that I could see better than I had in years. Dr. Brass and company were extremely helpful and reassuring. They took great care to put me at ease and made sure everything went as planned. I myself worked in the Health Care field for over 40 years and know how shoddy some practices can be. Dr. Brass and team were first rate and they use all of the latest technology. It isn't likely that I will have cataracts again, but I would definitely return to this Practice if I ever had any other issue with my eyes. The cost to have both eyes done was about $3,000 out of pocket which includes the facility, preoperative, postoperative and anesthesiology fees. But this will depend on your insurance and their deductible schedule. I rated the cost as "A", but it is what it is. I did some research of other local Ophthalmology practices in my area as provided to me by my insurance carrier and I did not see any considerable differences in the Gross costs. I initially went to Dr. Brass on a recommendation from my PCP. Glad I listened to her!

    Cheng, Dr. Mabel
This appointment was to have my interior eye examined for any changes that may have occurred over the past 6 months. I arrived, I paid my co-pay.  After a short wait a nurse did a vision test and checked my pressure and administered drops to dilate my eyes.  After the appropriate time for my eyes to dilate, Dr Cheng checked the interior of my eye for vitreous and retinal changes.  There were no apparent changes.  And my appointment was successfully completed.

I met with him and his staff and explained my situation. I was immediately impressed by his manner and concern. I was given a thorough examination and he concurred that I needed to have the surgery. I went through the pre-op process and scheduled the surgery for both eyes four weeks apart (he could not do both at once). I am only in my early forties and had very poor vision with a fairly significant stigmatism in both eyes. In an attempt to correct my vision, I opted for the upgraded Torix lenses. Both surgery's went very well and he was able to correct my vision to the point where I now only need reading glasses. One of the things which really impressed me was that I had surgery on Friday and he called me at home on Saturday to see how I was doing. He is a very concerned and caring doctor with an excellent bedside manner. He explains things in layman's terms and is willing to spend the time to make sure you understand everything. He is supported by a terrific knowledgeable staff and I continue to see him for my annual eye exams.

The surgery went very well. Dr. Wang is extremely skilled in her field, and I felt at ease and comfortable. The procedure took about 10 minutes and was successful at repairing the tear. There was no pain, but some pressure during the process, and bright lights that were almost blinding. Overall, I would recommend Dr. Wang to anyone with a retinal problem. This is her field, and practices no other.

My eyes are much better since my 1st visit 6 months ago. I followed Dr. Sehgal's plan (medicine, tear drops, warm compress), my eyes feel much better. On my last visit he looked at my eyes closely and said they are looking much better. The tear ducts are not as plugged up as they were and my eyes are looking good (no pun intended). I should still use the basic tear drops thruout the day and a hot compress in the morning. The hot compress helps release the material that is plugging up the tear ducts and the drops will help the eye stay lubricated since my ducts are still partially blocked.

They've done a great job for me. Dr. Jordan is also my wife's doctor. They're all A's and very good people. The whole office staff is very friendly. I really like them and will be going there in 2 weeks for my annual eye exam.

I have been going to her for year for a specific issue and I see her every six months for that. She is very personable, she is very open in her discussions, and she tells me what I need to do to keep things in control, I like her a lot and I am very satisfied with her. I rate her highly. I will absolutely continue to use her in the future.
