    Owner showed up just fine for appointment. Was pleasant enough and took measurements, discussed some of the costs, went over details and how he was to price out. He left and never heard from again. I called twice and left messages requesting status. NO RESPONSE!! I think its wrong to assume a client cant afford a project, which is what I am assuming he did. And even worse is no response to let me know didn't want the job!

    Tim Russell (Russell Renovations) did an AMAZING job on our kitchen project. We installed a stainless steel backsplash, and weren't sure who to reach out to. We asked around and neighbors recommended Tim.

    He responded very quickly, and after swinging over to look at the project, he was able to give us his pricing the next day. He even recommended grout colors and edging for the backsplash, which we liked. He also brought up the idea of cabinet lighting - which we hadn't thought of - and agreed to do it. We are so happy we did because it looks great and functions well.

    Tim got started quickly. He was clean and neat when at our home working on the project. He got it done very quickly, and it was clear to see he does great work. His craftsmanship is great, and we love the upgrade to our kitchen...we feel it completely changed the look and function of it for the better.

    Overall we are thrilled Tim was able to do this for us, and we look forward to working with him in the future! Amazing job, friendly and fair, just an awesome experience that I would recommend to anyone.

    My wife and I have been thinking about finishing our basement for some time.  When we decided to get the job done we were very careful in the selection process for a contractor.  After doing an extensive search, we decided to call Russell Renovations WNY, Inc. for an estimate.  I called Tim (the owner) and left him a message to call me back.  Not only did he promptly call me back, but he was willing to spend as much time as possible answer some general questions I had.  We scheduled an estimate and again, he was right on time.   Tim did a detailed  inspection of our basement, listened to all of our wish list items.  He was willing to counter with his own ideas and when he left, we were extremely excited.  Within a short time frame Tim returned to us with an estimate, a detailed summary of the job, price, time frame, and options that we had discussed.  He did not forget a thing.  Every single detail or option we mentioned he remembered.  Once we decided to hire Russell Renovations Tim gave us a starting date.  Tim also gave us detailed instructions on when and where to pick out our materials for the job, we did not run into one issue during this process.   

    Russell Renovations was able to start the work a week early, so again there was no waiting for them.  Eight AM sharp everyday the crew arrived.  Tim, his son Seth and one other employee where there everyday.  They took care to respect my home, family and even my dog!  Everyday when they left work, they cleaned, it was like they were not there!  The work moved along fast and Tim was there to answer questions every step of the way.  They work hard too, a few nights Seth stayed extra late (he asked of course) to ensure that the job was done right! 

    Tim and his wife Anna even came on Saturdays to paint the basement for us!  Talk about dedication and love for what you do.  My wife and I cannot be more pleased with the job that was done.  The attention to detail was amazing.  When we imagined getting our basement finished, Tim and his team took it to a whole other level.    The attention to detail was amazing.  We will and have already recommended Russell Renovations to our friends and family.  We are looking forward to the next project with Russell Renovations!

    Kinetic Kitchens & Bath
    They were awful. They kept raising the price after I gave a deposit and the materials were ordered. they abandoned the job without electrical switch plate covers because I would not pay the last 500.00.
    I am sick to this day about it. 
    The grout on the tile work is crumbling now and I have to figure out how to fix it myself. 
    The original quote was 18 thousand that quickly became 25 thousand. They strong- armed me the entire way. 
    the company changed hands mid way and the stupid guy had me sign some new orders for parts but he maneuvered slipping in a new price in the fine print and demanded his money.
    I contacted the BBB and opened a claim. They lied. I was stuck.  Buyer beware.

    As always, working with Tim and Russell Renovations is a delight.  They did extra work at no charge,  they pay attention to every little detail and are always on time.  Even better, I trust them 100%.  Tim and the team are the most trustworthy construction team I've met in 10+ years.  While he's not the cheapest guy on the block, he's worth the extra $$.

    Tim was very professional, he was here on time and when he said he would be. He kept everything neat and orderly. He is by far the best contractor we have ever worked with. From the minute we met Tim we wanted to work with him. He was not only honest he showed a sincere interest in our kitchen renovation. Tim made suggestions, he was able to add on installing a new door for our pantry even though I thought about this toward the end Tim was more than happy to add it, he then picked up the door for us, had Anna paint it and he commented on how he really liked how it looked. Tim kept us updated continually on the progress of our job. A countertop arrived cracked and we had to wait a few extra days for it, Tim was very on top of this with the company he works with for quartz, he apologized to us even though this was no fault of his own. It was not a big deal as we were able to use the rest of the kitchen. To say that Tim is a perfectionist is an understatement he is meticulous and his work is done on time. He and his son Seth do an outstanding job, they are both friendly, polite, respectful and professional. Anna (Tim's wife) does the painting to perfection she adds the luster to this team. Our kitchen is now a dream kitchen. State of the art, designer quality at a very reasonable price. The quality and craftsmanship that goes into their work is hard to find in today's world. Tim really puts his heart and soul into his work, he shows a sincere, enthusiastic interest in his work and he should be very proud of his outstanding standards of work. We will only work with Tim on any of our projects moving forward. We highly recommend Tim for any project and are willing to have Tim show our kitchen if need be.

    HOME DEPOT
    customer service aspect was horrible. Went to Home Depot in NF NY to request a estimate for roof for our home. Man at store attempted to input request 3 times, each time stating computers would not take info, and tried again. Finally, took my name address and phone number, stating he would hand it to estimator in the morning, and we should hear from him within a day or two. After about a week of not hearing anything, I contacted Home Depot through their toll free number. Stated there was no request for an estimate. Put in a request and heard from estimator a few days later. He came out and talked about project, showed samples, etc. Met with him a few days later and signed electronic approval. After not hearing anything on project after about 2 weeks, contacted him to find out what was going on with our roofing job. Realized that not all paperwork went through fax, and stated he took care of problem, apologizing for mistake. Few weeks later, job was set up and roofers came to do job. Roofing company was excellent, very professional and did great job. Did knock off a piece or two of corner of siding, so i called estimator for Home Depot and his boss (I Guess) Greg. Who both responded right away and stated they put calls in for roofers to contact them and return to fix siding (as they were around the corner doing another job). Heard nothing and no one came by to fix siding. About a week later, called Home Depot estimator and his boss, Greg. Received no return calls. A few days later, contacted Home Depot call center and spoke to a woman who stated Greg was in a meeting, but she would give him the message and have him return my call. That never happened. Called call center again a few days later, and spoke to another lady, who stated no service folder was ever opened, so she did and stated Greg would get back to me within 48 hours. That never happened. Luckily, had message from roofer on my voice mail, so I contacted him directly. He stopped by our house the following day and fixed issue. Have never heard back from Home Depot. received bill from HD for roofing job and noticed they had given us 12 months same as cash, when I submitted an offer from them and was told I would receive 24 months same as cash. Back to the call center, and lady whom I spoke to stated she did see offer on our order. and fixed that issue. We have used Home Depot many, many times over the last 15 years and have never had the problems we encountered on this job. As I stated, roofing company was great, did a great job and roof looks great. Home Depot call center ladies were very helpful and professional. I truly resent not having calls returned and the, what I consider, unprofessional manners of Chuck & Greg in not helping with my issues, and that I had to do it myself (with luck). The home depot i dealt with was through the niagara falls store, not the amherst store. UPDATE. Had gutters replaced and found several rotten wood that should have been caught and corrected at time of roof repalcement. Contacted Home Depot about this and was brushed off by salesman, and he stated it wasn't their problem, it was the gutter guys problem. Stated if Home Depot had done gutter job, they would have corrected it, but as we didn't use them for this project, basically we were on our own. Don't think I'll be using Home Depot for any more work at my house(s)

    I  signed a contract with this company over a year ago. At the time, i needed extensive remodeling work done, it was and they did great work. The problem is their  property management side of things. It has been a nightmare trying to get my rent money from these people. They did find me tenants, however, other then a supplemental county check made out to me, that can't be cashed by  Investor Services, they have kept every dime of rent coming in cash. I have contacted them numerous times to give me access to my account. They refuse to give me an honest answer as to why i haven't recieved payments, that is when they feel like contacting me. Rarely, do i get invoices because they know other then a few monthly expendentures, they have no money trail to provide me. I have been very patient with these people, but i haven't gotten any satisfaction, If not for their construction duties,  I would give it  an F across the board   There rent collection fees and grass cutting is what i get billed for.  Out of 1000.00 a month rent. they send me a stipened of 360.00

    ceilings, etc. Unknown to me, this Tenant was very useful for the Company because he provided the perfect setting for carrying out fraudulent repairs.



    In summary, The Tenant did not pay $1 rent throughout the tenure of the Company's management.

    Total NET  rent receipts from other Tenants, after deducting  management charge= $2,673.

    Total Rents remitted to me during their tenure  and after  innumerable requests in February 2014= $816.

    Estimated cost of necessary repairs as at  1 February= $5,125.

    If I had not fired Investor's service Company, I would have lost my property. They had no intention of

    EVER sending me rent.

    They knew they should have used rent receipts to evict the Unit#2 Tenant at a cost of $500, but the Company preferred to siphon those receipts into their Company as repairs income, whilst the Tenant consistently continued his destructive activities.

    Reason for late submission of report : I had to summon all the resources I had to evict the Tenant and carry out minimum possible repairs, and also  pay unpaid water bills and taxes that had



     accumulated during the tenure of Investor's Services.

    Unfortunately, I picked the Company based on your A grading .Their negative performance has affected my confidence in your services' recommendation.
