    Ventry Concrete Contracting
Well, throughout our process of narrowing down a concrete contractor was a decision on its own, there are quite a few contractors throughout western New York, we got three different prices and VENTRY was our second they were not the least expensive but within the other prices of $800.00 . As we met with others ventry seemed a bit more knowledgeable and comforting seeing that Mike SR, Mike Jr, and Phil ventry were on site throughout the entire process. They were very particular and clean. There website was very informative and all there references checked out seeing they had work completed all over no matter what township, these guys get around, they did a terrific job on our driveway, porch, patio and sidewalks which in now on there website. Looks awesome Thanks to the VENTRYs . Keep up the hard work!

    AJ's Snow Removal
AJ's was a total ripoff! They demanded cash only payment in full at the time the contract was signed. In addition to snowplowing, they were supposed to mow my lawn once before the snow fell. They never showed up and when I asked what was going on, I was told that their truck broke down and they couldn't do the job. She then sent me a link to a GoFundMe page, asking for donations to get the truck fixed. I asked for my money back and Christy (the manager) refused. She argued and got nasty. She said that the contract says no refunds; the contract says "no refunds AFTER services have started". Since services never started, I was entitled to a full refund. She threatened to "call the cops and have you thrown in jail". The lawn was never mowed. In December after a particularly bad snowstorm, I had to hire a neighborhood kid to shovel my driveway because AJ's never showed up and would not respond to calls or text messages. I filed in small claims court. Christy got on Facebook and attacked me for asking if anyone else had been having issues with them. She called me a liar and said "I'm bout to shut this lady up". During the exchange, I discovered that AJ's plow truck had been damaged in a sideswipe accident and he wasn't even plowing; he was using a snowblower. This led me to the conclusion that they are not insured; if they were, they would have gotten their truck fixed. I again asked for a refund and was verbally attacked by Christy. Andre (AJ) and Christy refused to refund my money. The morning of the small claims court hearing, Christy contacted the court to say they couldn't make it to court because they have to pick up their kids at school. The kids are on winter break. Steer clear of these people. They're awful! Their BBB rating is bogus (BBB is useless anyway).

    Dave Webb Concrete
At first okay. After the initial pour not so well. It rained the day they poured the first part of the of the job. They covered the still wet but finished concrete with a tarp. After it stopped raining the tarp was removed and the rain water fell on the curing concrete leaving water "spill" spots. Dave Webb was contacted the next day about the staining marks and his reply was that the spots you "blend" in with the rest of the concrete. 60 days later and the spots are still visible. After numerous phone calls and emails no one from Dave Webb Concrete has contacted me. This alone was bad enough but in addition to this my property ( house deck and garage) was left covered in concrete residue to the point that everything needs to be painted. Also after further inspection the concrete in spots are only 2 1/2 inches thick when the contract had called for 4 inches. I feel that all of these issues could have been worked out But Dave Webb Concrete felt it was better off to ignore the issues and not return my phone calls and emails than talk to me and try to resolve the problems. Oh and one more issue I am still waited for Dave Webb Concrete to seal the concrete.

    Cafarella Concrete Inc
He did a terrible job - horrible.  He did a bad job.  I was just very unhappy with their work.  To improve their service, they could return calls.  They don't return any phone calls.  The only time they'll return phone calls is if you call the Better Business Bureau.  It's like a nightmare with them; very poor experience - awful experience.  He had a poor attitude.

I made the call to the office and they gave me a specific date they would come to give me an estimate... we'll then the nightmare began. They were. Two weeks late in giving the estimate. Then told me they would start the job the following week. They NEVER. Showed up I called. And called. No return call. I then left a message that I want my money back. And they didn't return that call either. Two weeks later they show up one morning. To do the job. I needed the job done so I let them proceed. They finished and left after spending most of the day on the driveway. Two days later it rained and I looked out my window and it looked like Lake Erie was in the middle of my driveway. There was a private dole of standing water 4 feet long. And two feet wide. I called their office and explained what was going on. And they said someone would be out very soon to look at it. WELL. IM. STILLLLLLL. WAITING ........ I have filed small claim against them...This job cost me $4400.00. That I couldn't afford to just throw away...which I ended up doing

Randy gave me a start date and arrived on time. He and his crew had to manually dig out the entire area because of limited access on the side of the house. All were friendly and polite. They finished on schedule and my husband is now able to roam about. Randy also went the extra mile and did a few nice things that he didn't have to do like creating a curbside pad for our trash cans and repairing an existing concrete pad. Randy and his crew take pride in their work and continually asked if we were happy with each step of the process.

    Mad Hatter Construction Company

I have had FOUR contractors tell me that this is the worst concrete driveway they've ever seen. My neighbors stop me on the street and ask who did my driveway and they are shocked when I don't say that I got it done for free. A judge agrees with me, and ordered Mike Duffy to return my money, but he won't. The only way to correct this is to pay someone to tear out everything Mike Duffy has done and start over, so not only did I lose the money I gave him, but it is going to cost me more to repair what he has done.

He was the most expensive quote I received, I thought that a more expensive price would ensure quality. Instead, I bought embarrassment. Don't let Mike Duffy anywhere near your house.

    Precision Door Service
He showed up on time and did exactly what the Big Deal offer stated he would.  He also took some time to try and trouble shoot some other issues that were not included in the deal.  He explained everything that he was doing and answered all of my questions.

    Precision Door Service
There were no observed issues with making the new door operate smoothly and efficiently.  There was no wasted time once the installers came on site.  It was obvious that they perform this type of work everyday and are very well versed in the proper installation procedures.  Once the weatherstrips were installed on the outside of the frame the job looked very neat.  The installers hauled away my old door and cleaned up the garage at completion of the work.  I am very satisfied with the investment.
The owner of Precision Door Service emailed a link to a YouTube video that showed how criminals can break into overhead garage doors with motor driven openers with only a bent coat hanger.  At first I was shocked that this type of video was on the Internet, but then realized that the criminal element in society already know about this trick and at least the video is useful to the general public for theft prevention.  I had removed the manual release cord from my garage door opener when my nieghbor's snow thrower was stolen from his garage.  Now, I shortened the metal lever that manually releases the garage door opener so that a coat hanger can't hook it and release the tension on the door that keeps it closed from the outside.  Now a criminal would have to smash the door to get my snowblower rather than just using a coat hanger.
