    Rome Memorial Hospital
It was the most amazing emergency room hospital that I've ever been in. The service was very good. It was private. They catered to me and came in and checked to see if I needed anything, not only physically but mentally. They made sure my husband was taken care of. It was first rate.

We have been going to them for years. They are easy to talk to. It is sometimes hard to get in. The office environment is good. The staff is good and friendly.

I got a fantastic treatment from them. They did good in the testing and everything. I didn't have to wait for their service. They let me know every step of what was going on with me. They called me to check how I was doing.

I had a constant throbbing ache in a molar tooth, interfering with my whole body (entire right side of my face including: eye, forehead, head, ear, and throat), and needed some pain killers when Ibuprofen wasn't working. Walking in the ER department I found the front desk nursing aid GONE into the back helping a nurse keep an emergency/ambulanced-in patient calm. I waited about fifteen minutes before being able to talk to her and check in. People who were there, before I was, had waited a total of 5 hours to see a Dr. I had arrived at 5pm on a Friday evening and waited 7 hours to get a bed and another 3 hours to see a Physician Assistant (NOT a doctor). Many people had to wait on beds that were lined up in the hallways, so I was at least lucky to have the privacy of a room, but one without a TV. During my wait in the waiting room, I approached the front desk nurse's aid 3 times to inform her of my severe pain, asked for ice packs (that I learned later were HURTING me and NOT helping.), asked for pain medication, and was in constant tears due to the amount of severe pain I had. They say that they take in people according to the level of "acuity", but I NO longer believe that! The only ones who passed that test were people with physical ailments (that could be seen)!!! They even have an emergency dental department there, which they didn't use or even suggest for my problem; this is part of the main reason why I went there, since I don't have a regular dentist in this "new" area I've moved to. When I finally saw the physician assistant, which they don't seem to have enough of to go around to see all of the patients in the over populated ER dept, she was very nice and took her time to check everything out. She went above and beyond to make sure I wasn't experiencing any other ailment and gave me pain medication ASAP. Even a little "doggie bag" of pills to hold me over, until I could get to the pharmacy the next day to fill the prescriptions she wrote for me. I would NOT return to this emergency room ever again, unless I was ambulanced in and was "priority" material, which people are who come by ambulance (no matter the reason).
