    I am 47 and have been training at Fitness Together for around 15 months.  I initially met Lonnie at a seminar unrelated to his business.  We hit it off and when I joked that I needed to get myself into shape, he invited me to his place, which coincidentally is ten minutes from my home (the seminar was in NJ).  When I expressed interest, I told Lonnie that price was a concern.  He told me to shop around to get a sense of price and service, which I did.  We worked together to arrive at a rate that I could afford.  I started with two days a week and increased to three after seeing early results.The place is intimate - two workout rooms and a warm-up area with a treadmill, stationary bike and ellipse machine.  Each session is 45 minutes and the recommendation is to arrive fifteen minutes early for warm-up on the treadmill, bike, etc., which I take full advantage of.  Lonnie also allows use of the warm-up equipment on off-days free of charge, as long as someone scheduled for a session is not using the equipment.  When I began, Lonnie created and provided me with a detailed schedule for my diet.  This was extremely helpful, as it helped me keep track of calories, protein intake (which is key), etc.  This was not easy at the beginning, but the more I kept to it, the more I saw the weight loss and firming of muscles, etc.As is typical in this type of business, there has been some turnover of trainers.  Luckily, I have had constancy with three.  In total, I have worked with six different trainers.  I have not been disappointed by a single trainer.  Each has his or her own style and I like the variety.  Some focus more on cardio, others on weight training.  Shout out to Trevor and Lia, with whom I have worked the longest.  Lonnie is very good about screening his trainers.  Since beginning at Fitness Together, I have lost approximately 25 pounds, I feel better and I sleep better.  It is my fault that I have not lost more, but I really like my food.  But, just by working out and portion control, I have been able to maintain.  It is to the point that I NEED to go for my workouts.  As someone who was a sloth for more than a decade after his first child was born, that says a lot.  I give my highest recommendation to Lonnie and his team.
