    I found out that they are under investigation by the Attorney General for State of New Jersey for poor service, so I wanted to cancel the contract and within 30 minutes, I called them to cancel but their Salesman Mr. Nathan refused to do so. I had to call my credit card company to refuse the payment. If this is their attitude, people should stay away. Please educate your people about Regulation Z of the Federal Reserve Bank.

    I contacted Bill when I found my water heater leaking terribly. HE kept in contact contact in what to do and when he'd be coming over with parts. After he assessed the situation, he promptly advised a urgent repair luckily that day. I am thankful to have Bill service my home and replace the tank. We have hot water now, just need a restoration team!

    Stuck with no heat or hot water, I called Rebmann Plumbing for some help.  I expected to wait a while since I called late day on a Wednesday but Paul called me right back and as promised, Guy called me by 7:00am the next morning to schedule a visit.  Robert and Frank were not only on time but called me twice letting me know where they were and when I could expect them.  Suffice to say my issue was complicated by things on my end but Robert helped as quickly and efficiently as could be and they were done in no time.  I've dealt with at least four plumbing, heating and A/C contractors over the last 18 months and without a doubt, Rebmann Plumbing, specifically Robert and Frank, are tops.  Maybe if I had found them 18 months ago life would have been easier.  Thanks guys.

    We had them for our house for a couple of years now and we have a contract with them.  They have always been on time and then the work they have always done for us was always acceptable work and always a good work.   

    The work was done well.  A little expensive but the work was done well.  We have used them for three years now.  Before we had the plumbing done, we just get the heating oil form them so we are satisfied and we have a contract with them.  The worker who did the plumbing presented himself well.  He did a clean job and cleaned up after himself.  The job is nice and neat.   

    If I have a plumbing problem in the house I will not hesitate to use them.

    I had a water leakage in the basement. It turns out the source of the leakage was a cracked pipe behind my shower. They had to open slightly two walls. It couldn't be repaired where the leakage was showing but it was determined it was the shower since I had water in the bathroom sink. They tried to do a repair in the bathroom but the line couldn't be located without taking down the wall which I wasn't ready to do, so the hot water was turned off. They manage to get the water heating working again,

    .I left a message and Robert got back to me immediately. Robert came over within designated time frame. The oil burner and water heater were tuned up. Robert and his helper were thorough and neat They took pride in their work..Price was fair. I would use Robert O'Brien Oil Burner Service again. I would recommend this company!

    Last year (2013) was fine. Made appointment for this year (2014). FAIL. Cleared my afternoon, five hour chunk to wait for technician. Technician called before supposedly being "on his way". I was unable to answer my cell phone. However, I was looking out the window the whole time, having lunch, awaiting the technician's arrival. The call center left me a voicemail (after repeated attempts to reach me) saying I would have to reschedule my appt because I wasn't answering my phone. If the policy is stated as "the technician will call when he's on his way" that means he will arrive at the destination. If the policy is "the technician will call, and if there's no answer, he will not show up," then that should be the clearly stated policy. Sending out misinformation to customers results in loss of your annual contract customers. Will not be hiring TF O'Brien due to poor communication and lack of customer service skills from dispatch employees.

    *UPDATE: Oct/Nov, 2015:
    After skipping a year and using a different company for 2014 (see above), I decided to give them another chance this year and I had a slightly better experience regarding the administrative process.  They did forget to confirm the appointment the day before, but the technician called ahead and arrived on time.  Raphael did a good job on the maintenance check-up and then installed a new hot water heater.  Since we bought the house 2.5 years ago, numerous inspectors and the like have recommended replacing the hot water heater.  Finally did.  Professional, respectful and thorough.  Satisfied.

    My water heater tank was leaking and needed to be replaced.  I checked Angie's list for top rated water-heater installers in my area and Pro Mechanical was on the list.  Howie answered the phone himself and gave an estimate of the cost to install a new water heater.  He's an honest guy that cares about the quality of his work.  He even showed me the invoice he paid for the system.  It was nice to see that he wasn't rushing against the clock; he arrived around 5PM and finished the job in about two hours.  He and Rudy were careful to put down track paper and rug to ensure they didn't scrape up the floor. They cleaned up the work area too.  The price is a bit steep but was not more than what the competition would charge (I checked and even the Home Depot was more expensive for an inferior water heater than the one Howie installed).  I will recommend Pro Mechanical Plumbing to everyone.  Plus it nice to now have a trustworthy plumber that is willing to show up for a service call and do a great job.

    The service person arrived at a suitable time. There was a banging noise that took less than a half hour to find. Turned out that the furnace blower motor was the problem. Service person said that the blades were extremely dirth and should be cleaned but warned that the motor might have to be replaced. Cleaning the blades of the motor did the trick, and the motor was purring again. I found the service technician extremely honest and willing to answer my questions. He could have easily told me that the motor had to be replaced right off the bat (it had been replaced 6 yrs ago).
    I had also spotted a leak on my watertank, he looked at it and found it was leaking from the valve. He didn't recommend replacing the plastic valve on a 16 year old tank but was able to tighten it and stop the leak. I had already considered replacing the tank but now I have time. Service tech warned that I should keep and eye on it and replace it sooner than later.
     
    I was so thrilled with their service that I also purchased and AC & furnace service plan
    Repairman was honest & dependable. A job that could have esiloy cost over $600.00 was done for less. I will definitely recommend them to anyone. I had been considering a service plan, after this experience I was convinced that I should buy it from O'Brien.
