At New Hartford Animal Hospital “we treat your pets like our own”. We believe prevention is key to a long, healthy and happy life. We offer integrated and comprehensive internal medicine with lifestage preventive health care including canine, feline and exotic medicine and surgery. We also offer certified acupuncture and herbal therapy, laser therapy, provide complete in-house diagnostics and 24 hour emergency services for our clients. In addition, New Hartford Animal Hospital is the only AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) accredited facility in our region. This means that we meet the American Animal Hospital Association’s extensive standards for patient care and hospital services. AAHA’s standards help ensure that we provide your pets with the highest quality health care possible. We care for the pets here as if they were our own and believe prevention is key to a long, healthy and happy life. Our veterinarians recommend annual or bi-annual wellness visits, proper oral hygiene care, appropriate life stage nutrition, internal and external parasite control, and vaccinations. We are committed to superior quality veterinary medicine, working closely with our clients, warm and compassionate care, and giving back to our community. Here at New Hartford Animal Hospital, we have developed finance options to help our clients afford the best health care for their pets. We know that commitment to a high standard of veterinary care can be costly. Your pet and family are worth it. We can help you find a health care program that meets your pet’s health needs and your family budget. We offer estimates for all treatment plans. If at anytime you would like an estimate for something, please ask. We can also separate vaccinations and other treatments so that each visit is less costly. My son took his cat to have its eye washed out and some sav antibiotic, he left with a 175 dollar charge, and a list of unwanted tests, all of which were not requested or necessary, he is young and didn't. know any better was obviously taken advantage of. POOR ETHICS, OVERCHARGE, Act in their own best interest, not yours or your animals.

Our 17 yr old pup  needed a paw amputated due to bone marrow cancer. They did all the scans to be sure it had not spread beyond the paw.
