Dave is simply amazing. He and his crew came out when he promised and got the job done quickly with no mess to clean up. My front stairs look amazing now and we could not be happier. If you are looking for an honest business professional Dave is your man.

    Clean Gutter Service
Jesse was everything you could ask for from a professional. His kind and friendly demeanor was apparent from day one. Before starting, he took pictures of the work that needed to be done and then again after he had finished. Needless to say the job was done perfectly. I will highly recommend Jesse to anyone in need of his services.

    Rock Solid General Contractors Corp
We really cannot give enough positive feedback about James Walsh and his very competent and pleasant crew! Our concrete front steps were in dire need of a facelift. We decided to add bluestone treads and brick risers. Our first dilemma was that the facade of our home was used brick and we werent sure how to match it as best as possible. James told us what to look for and sent us to his contact at a local brickyard to be sure wed be satisfied with our choice. After selecting bricks, he sent us to another place to choose bluestone and pavers. He carefully explained all the choices we had for filling the field on the landing, i.e. whether to use thermal bluestone or pavers and the pluses and minuses of each. From there he helped us to change the design of our front walk (previously cement) and design a walkway in the back of our home from our deck to the driveway. James was fairly priced and accessible for questions before the job and as it proceeded. His crew showed up on time each day and worked carefully, neatly, and diligently. The job was completed on time and looked nicer than we could have anticipated. Our neighbors all came over to compliment the work. On top of everything, James has a great sense of humor and is delightful to work with. He is incredibly knowledgeable about his craft. We would not hesitate to recommend him and hire him again. Check out our photos.

We were very happy with the work done by Segelman Shaw. They fixed siding on our home that was destroyed during a noreaster. They explained what needed to be done, provided us with options and put us on the schedule quickly! I would definitely recommend this company!

CertaPro Painters Of Rockland County NY
Overall the job went very well. The foreman (Raul) was excellent. He did the best he could with a badly weathered side of the house. The rest of the house looks fine. I had to remind them of the promise to caulk around all the windows. Raul came back very quickly and rectified the situation. The overall appearance is very nice. The clean up could have been better. I am still finding paint chips in my flower beds. I would use CertaPro again.

It could not have gone better. David determined that the front walk would be an easy fix - powerwash and reset the loose and missing stones. When assessing the patio, he said that over the years, it had dropped on one side and the rain water was not draining off away from the house as it should. He recommended removing all the stones from about half the patio, raising the concrete base and then resetting the stones. Because the patio had been in such disrepair, I had contemplated ripping it out entirely and having it redone which would have been a very expensive project. David said it was absolutely repairable and he was right. It looks brand new!

    The Paint Specialist Inc
Great, the 'specialist' assessed the issue, told me what was need and in a few hours over two days, due to the necessity of the stain to dry before the top coat was added, the job is done, the door looks as it did seven years ago. The specialist even stained the inside frame (which was bare wood) to compliment the door. I am happy and quite satisfied, and would certainly hire the firm again.

    Jan Fence Inc
Although the ultimate result was what I wanted, it took them a number of times to install the fence correctly> The fence was supposed to be only an inch off of the ground, the extensions on the existing fence were supposed to be down to the ground, and the door had such a large space underneath it that they actually pulled MY landscape rocks and SHOVED them under the door to create the lack of space under it. The extensions were not only too high, but they were installed incorrectly - overlapping the posts instead of between the posts. In addition, there was so much space under the fence I could put my whole foot under it and slide up to my shin. When I called them and e-mailed pictures, my sales person called me up and basically said "I have nothing to say - I don't know why this happened." He went on to state the installer worked for them for years, and he didn't understand why. He was genuinely shocked and said they'd fix it Sunday (it was Friday). So I said okay but not to charge my credit card the final payment until I was happy and he agreed. So early on Sunday my wife and I went outside to look to make sure we caught every issue and to our surprise and dismay, someone from Jan Fence had illegally snuck on to our property earlier and did some half baked repair (shoving dirt into the spaces instead of fixing the post, and trying to install the extensions correctly). Well I was livid to say the least. I called up again and to my salespersons surprise, he had nothing to say. He promised the installer would come back around noon to fix all issues and stay until it's done. Then around 2:30 he showed up with his young daughter. I asked him why it was done wrong, and if it were his house, is that how he'd do it - I got a blank stare and a nod of understanding. I went over all that I wanted fixed and it took him and his daughter hours in the rain, but it eventually was done. No sooner that the guy left did I get a call from my sales person "Is it good now?" "Yes, it's okay." Can we charge your card now?" That's all the concern really felt like. Get it done so we can charge this guy. No further apology, no offer of a discount or anything. That was the last time I heard from them. So I recommend you are home during install (I was away on business and my wife was there, but she didn't know anything about the fence and what was supposed to get done). The quality seems top notch, and I'm happy with the results. But I should have done more homework and checked other companies out too. I don't think I'll use them again, but you can give them a shot if you want...
