    He does a most wonderful job. I needed a new washing machine because mine was broken, so he installed a new one for me. It took about a half hour to do the work. He had the people who delivered the new washing machine take away the old one. They cleaned up excellent. I don't know how they could improve on because he does an excellent job, and he's so responsive.

    Called on a Monday said he would be here Tuesday and he came exactly when he said he would. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and unfortunately it was not fixable. Definitely would use him again.

    Service provider determined that our Maytag refrigerator had leaked water in the back of the unit, causing a large ice shield to cause the refrigerator door to be unable to close completely.  Service provider diagnosed the problem, removed the shelves and ice in the back of the unit, removed thick ice dam.  Serviceman was courteous, professional, and jocular.

    Today, less than a week after his service call, John came back with the part. He pulled out the stove, inserted the monitor and --nothing -- the front piece didn't light up and I still couldn't turn on the oven. John, however, wasn't defeated - he pulled apart more of the back of the stove and discovered that, not only had a mouse gotten into the stove, (he showed me the droppings) but it had chewed through some of the wires. John persisted despite my assumption that I would have to replace the stove ... and somehow, he skillfully found the wire that was keeping the monitor from connecting. He asked if I would approve him fixing that wire and of course I said yes. Both John and I were delighted when the repaired wire connected to the monitor and --- I had a working stove again! My thanks and congratulations to John - a true problem solver - he certainly made my day and convinced me that Rockland Appliance Center will be my go--to site for large appliance repairs.

    And if I had waited for that GE service call, the problem wouldn't even have been diagnosed by today, much less fixed.

    Turned around they answered my call pretty quickly, showed up the next day on time, addressed the problem quickly, very courteous and really do a good job explaining the problem and was able to fix my drier and the pricing was reasonable.

    I made an appt with a man on the phone who stated they would be there "after lunch", when I asked for a more precise time, he told me 'by about 1pm'.  I got a confirmation call a few days later with the lady saying it was between 2-4PM, so I asked her which it was, ~1P or 2-4 since another man told me differently.  She told me 'I guess go by what he told you, maybe he knows his schedule better".  So I waited after 12.30 until 4.30PM, with no one calling or showing up.  I called them at 4.30P to see if they were still coming. The lady said he was on the way,  The owner came a little after 5PM, no apology at the door or anything.  He checked the temp of the food in the fridge, asked me to remove items out of the freezer, & repaired the clog in the drain of the freezer.  The work was done quickly & effectively.  I found him to be polite and patient, answering all questions, however, I was still annoyed that he left us waiting from 1pm-5pm without one simple courtesy phone call.  My whole day was wasted sitting around waiting for him.  I have mixed feelings about the company because of that.

    I was having trouble finding someone in my area to service a very high end barbecue.  Appliance Medic assured me that they repair DCS grills all the time.  The fee was $69 to determine what parts were needed, deductible from the final bill. A very young man with overwhelming body odor came to my house.  He asked my housekeeper to show him how to turn on the grill!.  He looked around, took the $69 from my housekeeper and left.When I called to inquire about the repair, they said they were ordering parts. 
    When I asked what parts they were ordering, I was told that they know exactly what they need.  The first few times I called back, I was told that the parts are coming.  Now, three months later, when I call they hang up on me.  I have asked for my $69 back and they hang up on me. No service was performed for my $69, no parts were ordered, and the disgusting technician they sent to my house had no clue how to work the barbecue, let alone repair it.

    I used him on two separate occasions.  First, I heard a rattling in my washer.  Took it apart and found underwire from a bra rattling around which cut a hose.    Removed the wire, ordered and replaced the hose, and put the machine back together. Price was very fair. On another occasion,  replaced the fridge condenser, also reasonably priced.  I would not hesitate to use him again.

    I called for service on my oven. Since I am new to the home I didn't have the model number and because of this they wouldn't even schedule an appointment. When I asked to speak to the service manager the company representative refused. With this kind of poor customer service up front, I was not confident at all that they would do an adequate job or provide good service for the rest of the transaction so I didn't even book the for the job. They need to be more receptive to new customers.

    My experience with them was very good.  They called me, told me the problem, and told me what I needed to do before they could fix it.  They honored the Angies List coupon.  They came back when they said they would and it is fixed.
