    We hired Energy Evolution in December of 2016 to complete a "Hot Roof" installation in our Bi-Level High Ranch in NY. The work was done in a professional manner and based on a separate third-party evaluation of the work it was above and beyond what was agreed to in the contract. What makes this "special" or different is that we had deck work completed in the Summer of 2018 which ruined the insulation in our attic. We contacted "Sam" and explained what happened and within 6 weeks he showed up at no charge to repair the damage created by the Deck Project. You really don't know how good the service is until something like this happens and it is worth noting that once you are his customer, he will take care of you. I have attached an image of the "before/after" which was filled in almost 2 years after the initial work was completed. Great Job!

    Beautifully! Both workers, the owner and his assistant, were so helpful. They could have charged me to replace something but instead they were HONEST that it was just a simple power problem. All fixed! :) They also were very INFORMATIVE and gave us lots of tips! We will be using them in the future for our AC/heating needs as they respect the customer and do good work!

    During the polar vortex the fridge line that apparently was just thrown in the attic by previous owners burst.
    I had to quickly find a plumber in the area and have them come over immediately as I was at work - found Jay Plumbing and they were able to come over very quickly (in 3 hours) and check it out. Next day they came and fixed it so it sits properly under insulation.
    I was very happy that they sent a guy same day, even though he was busy at another job whole day. The service was good too.

    It really worked out very well.  They were very professional, very experienced and fair priced.  They charged extra for the diagnostic because we had a non-working furnace.  We had an additional switch.  The diagnosis wasn't the part of the original deal.  We didn't have the connection between the heating panel inside the house and the actual furnace in the boiler.  He charged because of the time he spent for the diagnosis, but he cut the price down.  He cut it down from $129 to $89.  The guy seemed extremely knowledgeable and straightforward.  There was an additional switch that was turned off.  It was the first time I used them, but I would use them again.  The price was very good.

    I initially called Delpo on 1/2/12 to get an estimate on some minor plumbing updates in my master bath, since I am doing renovations and had the walls removed, which would make the work easier. I spoke to a young man that wasn't able to give me any idea when someone might get back to me. I got a call two days later while I was out, saying that they were in my area and could stop by for the estimate. When I called back less than 90 minutes later, they were already gone from the area and unable to come by for the estimate. At that time, I discovered that my heat wasn't working, and asked to have someone sent over. While I was waiting, I reset the furnace, and the heat came back on. I called back and told them that I had heat, but that I wanted the service person to come and check out the furnace and do whatever maintenance it might need. In the past, I had a service contract with Delpo so that they would come and check out the unit - which they had installed - at the beginning of each season. When Delpo changed from Dand P to Delpo, I was no longer offered that service.
    The service person came and informed me that there would be a $75 charge if no problem was found. I agreed to that, and he went to work. He had me run up and down the stairs several times to turn the system on and off from my three thermostats, but couldn't find anything wrong with the system. He informed me that the next time it happened, I should not reset it myself, but should let them come and see it while it wasn't working.
    Nothing was found, so it should be $75, right? Wrong. I was changed $125 + tax, for a total of $135.47 for this (from the receipt): Checked over heating system. Found nothing wrong. Checked zone valves and thermostats. Told to call if happens again. Do not reset.
    FYI - The service person never went near any of the thermostats.
    I finally got a call back - a week later - about the plumbing work. I have already done the work myself, as I could not continue to wait with no walls, sink or toilet in the master bath any longer.
    Delpo (formerly Dand P) is the only heating company I've used since I bought this house 8 1/2 years ago, but I will be looking for a new company now.

    UPDATE 3/3/14: I needed a new hot water heater installed, which I had already purchased. Delpo was one of the companies I called, and they gave me a quote. They were supposed to call me back to say when they could do the work. Because their price was better than others I had received, I waited a few weeks and called again. Apologies, and I was told I would get a call to schedule the work. Instead, I got a call from the woman in the office, who informed me that I didn't get a call back the first time because I had given them a bad review on Angie's List. They did not contact me last year after I wrote the original review, and no one has contacted me since.

    Good to know that they read the reviews on Angie's List - disappointing to find that they don't seem to want to do anything to make it right or respond in any way.

    I've used them for a few years and they are okay. They also do air conditioning. Their price is okay and their quality is good. They were on time. I think they overcharged me a little bit when I added on the extra job.

    I usually have them check at my heating and air conditioning unit before the season. They are prompt, and they give 24 hours service. So, I can call them at any time if I need help. Their charges a bit more if I use them on a weekend, but that is understandable. My overall experience with them was good.
