    AMV Interiors and Construction Inc
WOW!! I am still in AMAZEMENT at how BEAUTIFUL our kitchen makeover turned out. Aleks and his team (Mike and Justin) are the nicest and most honest contractors I've ever dealt with. From the very beginning to the very end, the work and communication was superb. Aleks guided me through the entire process of picking the best appliances, cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and materials needed to make this all come true within my budget. Aleks stayed in constant communication with the logistics of the project and made us feel very comfortable. Such an amazing team of workers - I could go on for days!! Thank You Aleks and AMV - Our Kitchen is now the Heart of Our Home. The Dupree's

    John Halsey Architect RA
Everyone loves the new bathroom, lots of light, plenty of storage. John really listened to our needs. Also, in addition to the design and detailed blue prints, John went the extra miles in helping us finding a great local contractor who did an excellent job for us!

Before the work even started Aleks came to our home several times to discuss the remodel. Communication was always prompt and Aleks accommodated my work schedule by stopping by early in the morning prior to going to other job sites. We are very happy with the finished product. Over the course of the five week project Mike was our daily point person and he did a great job of communicating and addressing any of our concerns / questions. As with any project, issues came up and Mike was very quick to offer solutions / alternatives to fix the problems. When searching for a contractor it was very important for us to not have a revolving door of different workers. We were very comfortable with Mike, Benny, Aleks & Johnny and would definitely recommend them.

Tri County Development & Construction, LLC
The work was completed within the estimated contractual timeframe. Zack was very understanding of our budget and developed a plan to make as many of the renovations we wanted within that budget. Zack guarantees his work and any problems were immediately addressed and rectified. I would recommend Tri County Development & Construction, LLC to any and everyone!

    Go Green Express Home Services
I used Go Green originally as my AC/Heat maintenance which in the beginning were fine but then the company started rescheduling all my appointments due to them not having a person to send and finding out the day of that they aren't able to make it. This happened on three different occasions which was very frustrating when you have to use a vacation day or part of a vacation day from work. This was the start of my boiling point with the company.
I began my project on doing my master bathroom and renovating it down to the studs and decided to try their plumbing by hiring them to install the plumbing work and a shower base. Now I bought the shower base and accessories prior to their visit. I supplied them most of the material things so they had to do little buying. When it came to the estimate the guy they sent just had no idea how to give a proper estimate. His initial was around $3,500 which then i told them he's crazy. He had to ask me what I thought I should be paying. I told him since I'm supplying material only about $1600 because it should only be about 4-5 hours of work if you are a good plumber and I got that figure because I have a family member in the business for over 30 years and that's what his plumber who is expensive would charge. So he had to make a call to the main office to see if they can lower the estimate. Finally they came back with $2,400 which was still too high but i needed the work done. I only agreed to the price if they would include all new shutoff valves for the faucet sink and the toilet, which they agreed too and were not happy that the plumber that they sent agreed to that. This should have been a huge warning sign for me and should have went with someone else but I was foolish. Now the guy started his work and I would never to think to double check his work but now I'll be always skeptical. I had my uncle and cousin come up since they own their own construction company to help me out with sheet rocking and putting up durock cement board. While we were installing we noticed that the sheets of durock were not matching up on top of each other over the shower base and decided to check on the level of the shower base. It was 3/4 of an inch off level. So not only am I paying a lot more than I should have but now the guy didn't even set the shower base in correctly. I called them up immediately and said they need to make this right. So everything came to a stop - sheet rocked what we could and removed the Durock and my guys went home to stall the project up. Finally the plumber came back and had to put a lot more mud down and level it correctly and I stood there while he did just that to make sure he did it correctly and he installed the shutoff valves while he was there. The only problem is now my project got put off for 2 weeks because I couldn't get my family members back up to help me finish. So I asked them is there anything they can do for me that would help satisfy this hold up. If they had someone who knew what they were doing the first time around this wouldn't have happened and I would have been done 2 weeks earlier. I was thinking maybe $500 off the project would have been nice but they refused. The only thing they offered me was more months free on the AC/Heat which only added up to $72 which I thought was insulting. So I cut ties with them completely and would never use them again. Very unprofessional.

    Credence Development Inc
Everyone at Credence Development (particularly the Owners, Pat and Ed Mateo) was very patient, reasonable, and extremely knowledgeable.  We are new home-owners and were not anticipating the expense of repairing a leaking shower stall so soon.  They provided guidance to help us stay close to budget and answered all of our questions (we had a LOT of questions), providing recommendations from past experience (even recommendations outside of the job they were doing).  They were very honest, raised concerns and corrected problems as the job went on.  We are pleased with the quality of their work.

From the beginning, before the actual work had even begun, we were pleased with the fact that Aleks would always answer calls and respond to emails promptly.  We mostly communicated via email, as we sought to avoid calling him on his cell while he was on another job, though the few times we did call him (when we needed immediate information), he responded in a friendly and helpful manner.  We purchased all the materials (shower doors, guest bath sink and faucet, kitchen faucet, wall and floor tiles for master bath and floor tiles for guest bath, wall paint, plumbing materials and fixtures).  Aleks obtained for us the countertop that we wanted.  The entire job lasted nine working days.  He and his staff (Ben and Mike) arrived early every day.  They asked us frequently where we wanted things placed (such as the shower seat, inset for shampoos and such, and plumbing fixtures) so that everything was exactly how and where we wanted it. Their work was exceedingly neat and their attention to detail was extraordinary. We couldn't be more pleased with the final result in both bathrooms.  They cleaned up every day and when the work was finished, their final cleanup left the place spotless.  They did exactly what they said they would do, and more.  We would not hesitate to use them on a future project.  They would be the first contractor we would call.

Mr. Handyman Of Eastern Orange County NY
Ron showed up at 8:00 am as promised. I showed him the Toilet, wax seal etc. and the tiles I already had. He wasted no time and went straight to work. Removed the old toilet and replaced the five floor tiles that were loose or cracked. While the tile thin set was drying he went to work replacing the sink drain and replacing an associated cracked drain collar. Then he went back ,grouted the floor tiles and installed the new toilet. One more thing off my mile long Honey Do List. He worked efficiently and wasted no time. The entire job took 4.5 hours. He did not stop for lunch and worked until the job was complete. I thought for sure he would have been there for the whole eight hour work day. So far every thing works and looks great. The labor is not cheap ,but you get what you pay for. I have had some night mare experiences with contractors in the past, but this company is top notch as far as I'm concerned. They will call you back and you will know what you will spend before they start. They will get more of my projects as time and money allows.

The owner would not respond to my initial quote request since they never showed up for the appointment. I gave a bad review on Angie's list for the company for not showing up as promised. Approximately six months later, the owner showed up and gave me a estimate and told me to modify the review. I modify the review for the company. After that, the owner rarely respond to my email. The estimate they gave was high compared to what I expected.
