    ASPEN DENTAL
.Dentist told me he would do it and I scheduled an appointment and when I went back and I saw a different dentist and I explained what I was here for and asked where my dentist was she went to look for him and came back a few seconds later and said he wasn't here and anyway, we don't do implants here. I was so mad I walked out! I should have left that practice when I saw 3 people(on 3 different occasions) screaming at them for lying to them!

    Alpha & Omega Dental
After an x-ray and examination, I was advised that I had two options: (1) a root canal with a post and crown or (2) have the tooth extracted. Since time (I was leaving for a vacation on March 3rd) and money (I have no dental insurance) were a major consideration in my decision, I opted for the extraction which was then scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25th at 9:30am. The extraction procedure took less than an hour and Dr. Chung was very careful about properly deadening the area and the whole process was painless. Afterwards, I only experienced a couple of days of minor pain (after the Novocaine had worn off) and was completely without pain when I left for my vacation on March 3rd. The extraction socket is now healing very nicely and I am very pleased with the service provided by Dr. Joseph Chung and will continue to use him in the future. This was my first experience with him as I had previously visited a Dr. in NYC for the past 20 years. Note: Dr. Chung has been my wife's dentist for many years and it was her recommendation that I use him as he is located closer to where we live and I would not have to travel into the city.

    Orange County Dental Services
I had been going to County Dental for routine care previously. I was not particularly satisfied with them, but there are not many dental practitioners in my area working with my dental insurance plan. County Dental used to be much better before they moved to their new offices about 2 years ago. Since then, they seem determined to pass the cost of the new location on to the patients. My dissatisfaction with them increased gradually, and after this particular visit, I refuse to go back there.
I had had a root canal with them about a year and a half ago. At the time, the pain stopped, and a crown was put in. Over time, pain started building up in the area of the wisdom tooth behind the root canal. I called County Dental to make an appointment for later that week -- the pain was not so excruciating that I could not wait to see them until a day when the appointment would not conflict with work obligations. Well, while they had a time slot available for the day I wanted (two days later), they could not give it to me, because since I was trying to schedule for a day other than when I was calling, they did not consider my case an emergency. However, they could not guarantee that they would still have a time slot available to fit me in that day if I called first thing in the morning like they were telling me to do for an emergency. The circular logic continued, until I got frustrated and hung up. I called again the night before the day I wanted to go in, and was able to get the appointment.
It turned out that the crown they had put in when the root canal was done was only supposed to be a temporary one (I was never told this at that time, or I would have gone back for a permanent one before any issues developed). It had failed, and so the entire tooth had to be extracted. The wisdom tooth went with it, as apparently there was an infection. I was told to go next door to the endodontist, because I would need further root canal work done after my gums healed from the extractions.
I know I was not told any futher work was needed when my original root canal was done. If they only put in a temporary crown, I should have been told to arrange for a permanent one before the temporary one failed and cost me the loss of my tooth. Furthermore, while I was there in pain and distress from the extractions, they tried to upsell me on tooth whitening and Invisalign, to the tune of $7000. I found them unprofessional, mercenary and dishonest. I will not visit again.
Oh, about the root canal I supposedly needed after this procedure? I did not have any further pain, and my new dentist can't find any reason why any root canal would need to be done.

    Smileplace Family Dentistry PLL
Smileplace Family Dentistry PLL were very accommodating and very professional. They explained everything in detail in such a way that a layman can understand. They have called me when they have a cancellation so that I can go in. Their office is wonderful, it is not like a dentists office. I have an appointment to go and see them again in a few weeks from now.

Dr. Mike, Dr. Frank and their staff are fanstastic. They are extremely nice people, everyone's very friendly and they make you feel very comfortable. Dr. Mike is wonderful, very passionate about his craft and very conscientious, so no matter what procedure he is performing, he always seems to be aiming for perfection (and has hit the mark everytime so far). He will also spend as much time as needed to explain whatever it is you might have questions about. I will be their patient for as long as they're around and I recommend them very highly whenever the topic of and quot;dentistsand quot; comes up. They're the best!

when my daughter went to "check out" they told her that although they had quoted us one price, (379.00) the "insurance company" had changed the price and it was now 429.00.  There was no other explaination.  For some reason, they asked for payment in full at the time of service.

Their professionalism is very poor, their attitude toward customers with disablilites was verry poor, they dont care about their patients well being.  They stick to their policys and wont accomodate anybody.  I have a service dog and on a 90 degree day they told me to put him in a car.
