  • It went very well! We were amazed at the dexterity of this mechanic who knew exactly how much soil to remove and placed it with precision as he built the berm. Any problem that popped up was handled with professionalism which speaks to his experience too. The work was completed to our satisfaction.

  • The siding was done well enough (until the other day when one of the piece's blew off the house in the wind) and I have called repeatedly to have it placed back where it belongs but still have not heard from the company. The siding was sub-contracted out to another company (which I was charged quite a bit more that the company charged them to do it... I have spoken with them too) ... however, there are now a few hairline cracks in the foundation as well as dark marks which don't belong. No one has fixed them yet either. To say I am quite disappointed would be an understatement. And considering I am recently widowed I feel as though they have taken advantage of me. I am sad to feel that these men have not taken care of "business"as well as they had promised. Also, their "turn-around-time" in calling me back has been appalling!!... They should be very ashamed of themselves!!!!

  • Went well...They called 1 hour before arrival to say they were on their way...Vinny and Paul were very professional and efficient...They did an awesome job...I had everything ready for them of course and that always makes it better. (I dug the hole ahead of time and had a watering hose ready to go before they arrived...)
Make sure you call these guys if you want this done...They are excellent...

  • I am highly impressed and completely in love with the demolition and new renovation Dan did for our family room bathroom.
He was on time, worked hard every single day, and cleaned up after
himself well. I cannot begin to explain the amount of joy I had when I
walked in my home and saw my brand new bathroom this past Friday
afternoon. The bathroom looks like it's straight out of a multi-million
dollar estate put into my bi-level ranch! Thank you Dan for going above
and beyond for us (and the plumbing you took care of)! I can't wait
until we use you again for our next projects!

  • SHORTLY AFTER MOVING INTO OUR HOME WE NOTICED SOME CRACKS IN THE FOUNDATION WALLS AND THE FLOOR. WE HAD  A NUMBER OF OTHER SALES PEOPLE COME OUT AND EACH TRIED TO SELL US VARIOUS EXPENSIVE JOBS UP TO ABOUT $19,000 FOR A FRENCH DRAIN TYPE SYSTEM THAT THEY SAID WE WOULD EVENTUALLY NEED EVEN THOUGH WE NEVER HAD ANY WATER IN THE BASEMENT. WE WERE TOLD BY ONE COMPANY REP THAT OUR HOUSE WAS SINKING AND THAT WE HAD HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE AND NEEDED EXPENSIVE PIERS SUNK INTO THE GROUND. WE HIRED A STRUCTURAL ENGINEER AND HE SUGGESTED WE CALL B-DRY SYSTEMS WHICH WE DID. BILL HENNEKENS CAME TO OUR HOME. HIS HONESTY, PROFESSIONALISM AND KNOWLEDGE WAS REFRESHING. HE EXAMINED OUT FOUNDATION AND SAID WE NEEDED NO WATER SYSTEM AT ALL. HE SAID THE CRACKS WE SAW WERE DUE TO SETTLING AND DRYING OF THE CONCRETE. HE ALSO SUGGESTED WE HAVE SOME GRADING DONE TO PROPERLY DIVERT WATER AWAY FROM THE HOUSE AND ROUTING THE WATER FROM OUR ROOF DOWNSPOUTS AWAY FROM THE FOUNDATION TO PREVENT ANY FUTURE PROBLEMS.
THERE WAS NO RIDICULOUS SALES PITCH, JUST KNOWLEDGE AND HONESTY. HERE WE ARE 4 YEARS LATER AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH  TO LET YOU KNOW HOW RELIEVED  WE WERE TO FIND OUT OUR BASEMENT AND FOUNDATION WAS FINE. BILL AND B-DRY SYSTEMS OF SOUTHERN NEW YORK  HAVE EARNED OUR TRUST.

  • Phil kept in contact with me regarding every aspect of the job.  His crew arrived on time, worked every day until the job was done in the number of days he originally stated.  They cleaned up and disposed of all debris and trash removed from the basement.  The job was done professionally and efficiently.  Phil even suggested a dehumidifier for the basement, purchased one at a reasonable price and installed it for me.  When the job was completed, everything was cleaned up with no trace of all the trash removal that had been done. Everything was hassle-free and much easier than I had anticipated.

  • I was given a quote online to remove my underground oil tank. It was a fair price but quote said price could change depending on any special excavation needed. Since the tank was buried under my deck,  I asked that someone come by to determine if special excavation was needed. He didn't think it was necessary but agreed to in order "to put my mind at ease".   I did not hear back from them so I called.  I was told that he did come  there would be no special excavation needed.  A backhoe could be used to do the job   A date was set after a deposit was mailed.  I was told they would be here between 9 and 9:30 am.  I called at 9:45 am that morning to confirm they were coming.  I was told they would be here shortly.  They showed up at 11:30 am.  Two people arrived. One looked under the deck and said he couldn't do the job that day because he couldn't use the backhoe, he would have to dig by hand.  I explained to him his boss looked at it and said no special excavation was needed.  He made numerous calls back and forth.  I also called and they agreed it would not cost me any more if they had to dig by hand. She said she would send someone over to help them. No one came. It was an hour of phone calls before they actually got started.  They did as much as they could with the backhoe and then dug by hand.  I actually felt bad for them.  They came into a situation they did not expect and did not get any help.  The tank was at an angle they did not expect and he determined he could not remove it; it had to be filled and abandoned.  They called the town inspector and was given the okay. They had to then wait for a special truck to show up to siphon out the oil from the tank before they could go any further. The town inspector came and approved the work. The lady that came with the truck took the balance of my money while the workers continued to finish their work.  I asked about a discount since they did not actually remove the tank.  She told me the price I was quoted was actually lower than SHE would have quoted me and since they had to dig, it was a fair price.  At this point, I did not argue because they were there all afternoon and I just wanted the job completed because  we had plans that evening and had to leave by 5:30.  I confirmed with her that they would remove all pipes and clean up after themselves.  She agreed they would.  We left at 6:00 and left them cleaning up.  When we came back, there was dirt packed down in the driveway from the backhoe that hadn't been cleaned up.  Large, heavy metal pipes were left in my yard.  My husband spent 1 1/2 hrs the next morning cleaning up the dirt.  I called and told the woman about the dirt they left and that they did not take the pipes.  She apologized and told me she would send someone by to get them. Five weeks later, they are still in my yard. It was my mistake to pay her in full before cleanup was complete.  I should have held back money until I was sure it was done to my satisfaction.  Eventually, after calling them again, they came and picked up the pipes.

  • Sal was one of three estimates. His was the middle estimate. I chose Sal because he showed up for the estimate on time, put the estimate in writing, spoke to me with respect, took the most time explaining the job, and said he would do the same job as the others.
Sal estimated the job to take 1.5 days and they finished in one day, it was 9 - 10 hours.
Sal was on site with the workers. When the job was done they fixed the landscaping to the point you couldn't tell any excavation had been done. Very impressive. Sal even put back and adjusted the satellite dish.

  • The work performed has so far been perfect. The process only took a couple of days.  Quality Dry took care of taking up the existing floor and baseboard. The workers were very efficient and the clean up was excellent. They were very attentive and explained the progress throughout each step of the project. We have not had anymore incidences of water, dampness or mold. The system they installed takes care of any potential flooding issues. Our room is now useable at last. I would definitely recommend Quality Dry Basements to any one requiring this type of work.

  • My house is built into a hillside, so we do not have a basement, the first floor is livable space. The foundation started to leak so the carpeting in the back bedroom was completely ruined. Dry-X inspected the damage and after picking  up the carpet they identified a water leak. They had to dig down into the dirt and since we are on a cement slab we discovered that i wasn't possible to do the work from the outside so they had to do it from the inside. They jack hammered a trench around the room and installed a sump pump in my closet and an E-Z Breathe indoor air system. Dry-X did the work very professionally. Their whole approach was refreshing, they explained the process in great detail and were true to their word as they looked after my property. The clean up was great, the finished work was as neat as possible. The final price was right. Going into this project I had no idea the amount of work that would be necessary, but all said and done it was very worthwhile. Dry-X did the job right and for that they get straight A’s!
