    We woke up and the central air conditioning was not running in my home. Upon my calling him, Bill was more than responsive as he came over to diagnose and repair the problem not once but twice within a month's period. Initially it was a bad fuse in the blower but it turned out to be a faulty control panel. Bill's professionalism and "never-say-die" attitude was able to make the repairs and get the system up and running on a hot day. He has earned a place in my phone as the go-to guy.

    After a three day long ordeal with another company who shall remain nameless, I contacted Bill after reading his reviews on Angie's List. Bill answered my call promptly in the morning and even though he had a busy day ahead of him he promised me he would come in the evening. Sure enough, Bill texted me in the evening and arrived right as schedule as promised. He took one look at the situation without me even mentioning what happened with the previous company and went right to work. He informed me that the piping was originally done incorrectly when the boiler was put in about 10 years ago and that he would repair it accordingly I was originally told the job would take about four hours (again previous company) but Bill moved like marathon runner and finished under an hour and a half. Complete gentleman and true to his word which goes a long way with just don't find that in many contractors/tradesmen anymore. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Bill for anything that may arise in the future and you should won't regret it

    I having been having a problem with my HVAC system for many years. The two zone system works fine every winter, but every summer there is a problem on zone 1. Zone 2 works perfectly all year round. I have tried installing new batteries in the thermostats, installing new thermostats and swapping the thermostats between zone 1 & 2, but the problem stays on zone 1. This means that the problem is not with the thermostats. I called True Mechanical and asked to speak to someone in service to discuss this problem before scheduling service. I didn't want to pay for a service call for the technician to tell me that the thermostats are the problem and then pay for new thermostats which don't need replacing and then not be able to get my money back when the problem with zone 1 continues after the technician leaves. So, I wanted to speak to someone first to discuss the problem to save both of us time, money and aggravation. The nice woman I spoke to put me on hold and spoke to the service manager who told her to tell me that he was busy at the moment and that I should leave a message on his voice mail. I left a message and asked for him to call me back. I never received a call back. So, I tried to contact them through Angie's list, but did not hear back from them. I tried to contact them again, but did not get a response. True Mechanical installed my HVAC system when the house was built many years ago and I "recommended" them to two families who used them to install central air systems in their home. I now regret doing. Is it too much trouble for them to contact a good customer and listen to their concerns, or is this just the usual contractor saying it will be done my way or it's the highway, which is what created the need for Angie's List in the first place.

    I called to speak to someone about a problem that I cannot get any company to resolve and I had to leave a message. They called back immediately. I explained my unusual problem and asked what would happen if the problem was misdiagnosed. For instance, if the technician said the thermostat was bad, which it is not, and they replaced the thermostat only to have the problem occur again after the tech left. She said they guarantee their work and would go on diagnosing it. I asked what would happen to the fact that I paid for a new thermostat. She did not understand what I meant. I told her that I have had the problem misdiagnosed before and she told me that I should check each companies reputation on site's like Angie's List and I told her I did. She began to get frustrated, because I kept pressing for an answer about paying for a new thermostat that I didn't need. She finally said that the money that I paid for the thermostat would be credited against whatever repair finally corrected the problem. I then said Ok and that I would call back to make an appointment. She then said goodbye and slammed down the phone abruptly. People in her position who deal with the public need to be able to understand that the public doesn't necessarily speak in proper technical terms and they should have more patience. I had hoped I would be offered to speak to a technician before setting up an appointment to get a preliminary understanding of the problem

    Dealing with Lyons Air Conditioning was nothing but "the best" service contractor I have dealt with. Bruce Lyons (owner) was very professional ,reliable and more than reasonable. Bruce explained what needed to be done and he did it, exact words "leave it to me and I promise you I will do what needs to be done!" He Did. He and his workers were a pleasure, they installed my systems & left my home spotless. I would ONLY recommend Lyons Air Conditioning

    I use this company because they had so any positive reviews- First I'll say Denise, who answers the phone, was a sweetheart and the owner and his helper were personable as well. They came on a Saturday and looked at all 3 units although there was no actual servicing performed, just a visual examination. I pointed out the unit that was burning up wires and was advised it would need a hard start kit. I was quoted an additional $550 for parts and labor and when I asked, I was told the part alone was $350.The owner came back a week later to install the part at which point I googled the part by brand and part # and discovered it was a $13 part. After the install was complete I let the owner know that I knew this and he dropped the price by $150. All of this would have been OK (I guess...) except the unit continued to fry wires so I called them back again and this time was advised the problem was the windings in my condenser (?) and that the unit needs to be replaced at a cost of roughly $1200-$1500. I didn't get a refund for any of the ineffective "service" that had been performed. If you use them just be aware...
