    We broke down at the Smithhaven mall and they were the closest service station.   As this was out of town for us we were stuck with them especially since towing is expensive.  I must admit that I assumed they wouldn't rake us over the coals because we told them to go ahead with the work.  When it was done a battery and alternator came to an unheard of $600.  I complained to someone named Jason who told me to calm down and he would see what he could do, he knocked it down to 500 which is still crazy.
       What really  got me was when we went to the shop to pick up the car I saw a guy in the bay and I asked him if he was Jason and he said yes and then walked away.  Stay away from this place.

    My brakes were making a noise so I dropped by to make an
    appointment to have them looked at. Not only did they take a look right
    away, but they were able to make the necessary repairs while I waited.
    The owner and staff provided me with the details of the repair and the cost
    upfront. They were professional, courteous, and friendly.
    A great experience overall. A++ shop.
    Since I wasn't really expecting to have my vehicle looked at, I
    happened to have my dog with me. Not only was this not a problem, but
    the owner Carl gave my little buddy a cup of water while we waited. How
    awesome is that?

    Financing easy and all options in this regard pursued for lowest rate available.
    Maintenance and Recall notices advising us when to call for appointments.
    Whenever possible work performed at scheduled time and whenever a need arises for car to be kept, there is always a offer for a courtesy car!

    Not your guy
    Had bad experience with another mechanic. Sal?s is close, and busy, which is a good sign, so I gave him a try. Very soon I noticed: he like high pricing. Second thing I didn?t like was when he talked bad to worker. Don?t like such things. Then had the cooling system problem. Told him it can be the pressure cap, the filling container, radiator, leaking, water pump ? asked to check
    everything, and when done make sure the whole cooling system ok. The day after he finished, I paid (much), took it for a short drive, after few minutes there was a leaking. STRONG. From the pump. Which meant one thing: the guy didn't check the cooling system with hot engine. He then replaced the pump & belt (again, high price), and it?s a year now and cooling is ok, only I never came back.
    Just don?t trust the guy.

    Bad experience.  I worked with them for several years. Started ok, then went down. And more down. And even more. Finally broke any connection with them when my Dodge Neon start heating, and they just kept filling water and saying everything is ok? almost
    lost the engine? It appeared that major cooling system parts (pressure cap & water pump) were bad, and up till now I don?t know if they were completely unprofessional, completely didn?t care, or both. In any case, my advice: beware of these guys

    They did an excellent job. They lay emphasis on quality work and ensure the vehicle doesn���t return to them with the same complaint. They are very professional and reasonable in their charges. I rate them as the best automotive center and will continue to use their services.

    With them, it is always hit and miss. You never know what you are going to get because sometimes they do a good job and sometimes they totally mess up. I continue to go there because they are the closest and most convenient to get to. They are located in between my home and work. They are very polite and professional when you go in there, it's just sometimes they don't work on the right thing.
