    Well, we purchased the vehicle unfortunately with out doing research, because of location. I feel that's the only thing he has going for him. (the owner). All this happened with in 3 years of owning this vehicle. The first time we brought it they, told us what was wrong and fixed it for 750$ however could not give any explanation of what they did.  Months after we had issues with our vehicle not able to start or shutting down. We took it there again, thinking they were still trust worthy. We fought for 2 weeks back and fourth just to get a simple answer of what is being checked and done. All they could tell us is they will call us when they find out what is going on. Representative at MAHONEY'S raised his voice at us several times at us, stating he doesn't know what's going on. Later unknown to what was actually done, our vehicle was running and starting every time. We again paid an arm and a leg for not knowing what has happened or what was done to fix it. One week later, we had the same issues of not being able to start again. We again paid $100 for the second time a third party company to have it towed back.  Even after a week later. They still wanted us to pay to fix a problem they should have fixed in the first place. I spoke with the sales / garage coordinator or who ever handles billing for auto repair, again raising his voice, talking down, like we are the idiots and we should just shut up and hand over our money to them, I then asked to speak to a manager. The owner picked up. He also, yelling and screaming, I wish i could say I was exaggerating, how ever, I do believe he moved the phone away from his ear just so he could yell louder. Heated in the issues of why we still have to pay for services they did not fix. I asked him his name. He gave me the name "Arnold Schwarzenegger". He wouldn't even give me his real name. He just kept yelling, that we need to look at it and it won't be under any warranty. I just went and got it and took it somewhere else. We ended up paying again to have our vehicle towed to another garage to find out, to find out that our vehicle was running temporarily and we could have drove it to another garage. Mr. Owner Arnold Schwarzenegger said it it needed to be towed and because it's not working. The second garage we took it to, went over it with great detail and explained what they saw, gave us tips, and fixed the entire problem within 2 hours and $120. The other garage company, stated that MAHONEY'S technicians call all the time and ask how to do certain things. The other garage also, gave us piece of mind that it was going to work and backed it with  1 YEAR warranty, and we can call if we have any questions, any time. Unfortunately  and Fortunately we never had to visit them again, but have the new garage in mind. 
    On a side note with Mahoney's, the person who sold us our vehicle was fired, quit, or whatever, was no longer working for the company. When leaving, he took my personal information, name, address and what ever else he needed to make another sale at another dealer.  I'm not sure exactly what he took or what he used it for but since he's been with the new dealer, he has tried to contact us both through Facebook, calling us by phone, sending personal post cards to our new address which I'm still not sure how he got a hold of.  When that was brought to the attention to Mahoney's that their ex-employee has stolen private information, we were just laughed at. 
    - No knowledge of product or service, and asking other garages how to do their service
    - Very poor customer service, belittling customers and overcharging everything without fixing problems
    - Not taking ownership or responsibility for their work 
    - Gave False information
    - Stolen vital personal identity information for personal use and unauthorized contact
    I really hope this helps, I really hope you, reader, consider this when choosing your next vehicle purchase or repair. It's not worth the 1000's of dollars and constant headache.

    I have a 2000 Honda Civic. It runs like a top, but the air conditioning gave out about 5 years ago! I missed it terribly so I went to a garage. They told me it needed an air compressor and it would be $700.00. I couln't afford that (or justify spending so much on a luxury) so I drove for 4 or 5 summers sweltering!!! I was at Baxter's for an oil change and mentioned it to Mike Baxter. He fixed the air conditioning AND changed the oil for about $100.00!!! I was THRILLED!!

    it should not take 80 minutes to change the oil in my car.when i do it myself at home with crude equipment it takes me 20 minutes.
