    Frank's Painting
Frank's painting did a great job. The estimate was fair for the work required. We needed kitchen wallpaper removed and the walls skim coated and then painted. The estimated time for the work was 4 days. Carlos showed up around 8:00am each day and was usually done between 4:30 and 5:00 except for the last day when an associate joined him. The final day was a bit longer and was completed by about 6:30. The walls were skim coated and sanded so as to provide a nice smooth wall for painting The actual painting was done about as close to perfect as possible and we are very happy with the results. Cleanup was very good considering how much dust is generated in the sanding process. The final cost was right on the estimate both in time and final costs. Great job and we will definitely use Frank's again for any painting needs.

SOUTH SHORE PAINTING & PLASTERING CORP.
Excellent Job. In an out under the projected timeframe for the job. Showed up on time and completely cleaned up the worksite. The staff was very polite and professional. I will use this company again.

    Frank's Painting
Frank was courteous and personable. He came on time and knows his stuff. He is a perfectionist- so he advised me to expand the scope of the work to include skim coating all the walls because he was sure that once the wall paper (1/2 wall high) was removed there would be damage. Well that wasn't our plan because we plan to sell our home. It was obvious to both that his vision did not match ours. Luckily my husband, who is a perfectionist also, was able to remove the paper with no damage, resulting in a much more cost effective job.

    Precise Painting Contracting Corp
Deal was for 3 painters 21 hours of interior painting. Fine print was for all prep work to be provided by vendor. 7/21/14 Precise Painting arrived on site for estimate of work to be done and I was told I needed to provide the paint and that the deal was for 3 painters @ 7 hours each. Because the work was to be performed in a small bathroom, I felt 3 painters in one room for 7 hours was a waste and I requested a refund.

Decent job when completed but after several months, I started noticing several large cracks beginning to develop. A representative came to take a look and said it was problem and that it will be repaired as soon as possible. I've made several attempts to get them to fix the ceiling and but they kept telling me the same story "we'll try to get you scheduled as soon as possible"

    Complete Carpentry
This was an excellent experience overall. Contractor completed the remodeling within the parameters of the original estimate. Work was very professional. Workers came to work everyday until the job was completed. They cleaned up at the end of each day and contained dust to the work area while remodeling. The owner of the company was always available for any questions or concerns I had and made sure to resolve all issues before leaving the project.

We used them a year ago. He showed me pictures of his work. The guy who owns it, I don't know what his nationality is, most of his help is Spanish and who have been working with him for years. They do a very good job. We have 2 cathedral ceilings with skylights in our kitchen and bathroom. They don't leak but when it starts to get cold or warm you get condensation on it and it runs down and sometimes it makes the paint bubble a little which you can't help. It is part of the way it is. We were thinking about calling them and having them paint the kitchen and bathroom again. There were 4 people doing the job and my wife thinks they were here for about a week. The job was very good. They were very good. They were on time and they were very professional. They will use any paint you want. They prefer to stay with name brand paints. I wanted a new paint that was rated very high. They did a beautiful job. You could barely tell it was painted.

    1 Stop Home Improvements
I wasn't really satisfied with him. He charged me $150.00 to take down the gazebo and took one hour to take it down. To me that was a little steep for just an hour's worth of work. He charged me $150.00 for the caulking, plaster work, and the wood tile and I think he was fair on his price. He gave me exactly the quality I wanted for the sheetrock to be caulked and filled. He could have done a little more and a little better on the wood floor tiles. I thought he did a pretty good job on the caulking in the bathroom, but my wife's opinion is a little different from mine. I used to do the power washing myself, but I ripped my right rotator cuff twice so I can't take the pressure of the power washer. His price was good. His quality wasn't so good on the power washing. I showed him some areas and he told me some areas he couldn't get the dirt off. I had a product I picked up years ago from a janitorial supply place. It is organic and it doesn't hurt any plants or anything. It takes off any dirt. You could use it for your machine, but unfortunately a lot of people do not like using this for their machines. You could put just a little in the bucket and it works so well you don't really have to scrub. I told him about it, but he wouldn't take my advice and he didn't do it. I wound up getting those things off with this chemical that you barely have to scrub. He was fair on the price for some things and he was over on the price for others. I would consider him intermediate on just about everything. If I had the same work next time I would try somebody else. The plaster work was not a great job. I have been in this house for 35 years and that area has been fixed up many times. I am not looking for an excellent job because it's a laundry room and a garage. The walls are sheetrock and the ceiling is sheetrock. The floors are wood floors. The work doesn't have to be perfect for a garage floor. Some of his prices were good and some of them weren't good. His responsiveness was pretty good. I would not use him again in the future. I would try somebody else.
