They did a fantastic job and I couldn't be happier. They were very professional and started on time. They finished in the time frame promised and did very good work. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely hire them again.

Our kitchen remodel went as seamless as possible. Both Dave and Bob were pleasures to work with. They were responsive and worked with us every step of the way. Their workers were clean and fast, as well as very polite. I enjoyed how much they cared about my home and really made me feel like they were vested into making a great kitchen. The thing that sold me about them is Bob and Dave. Great guys, great work

I love my new bathroom! The bathroom renovation was done in a timely manner (exactly the time they said it would take). I was very happy with the finished product. The tiles were exquisite and I loved the vanity. My bathroom was small and there were challenges finding a perfect vanity for the space. The people who worked for me had a high regard for the quality of work they provided me with. The designer was very helpful with his input on how to implement a beautiful change to my bathroom. It looked totally different from the old one. I appreciated the extra help narrowing down my choices to create the bathroom of my dreams! The project manager, Sal was extremely helpful making sure everything ran smoothly and resolved any issues that came up promptly. I was very pleased with Alure Home Improvements. I would definitely use them again. They did an exceptional job.

Chris is a true professional and takes pride in the work that he does. He was accommodating in meeting me in the evening to provide me an estimate since I work in the city. When we gave us the estimate, he told us up front that he had previously scheduled jobs, and that he wouldn't be able to do the renovation until about a month later. My wife and I felt most comfortable with Chris and therefore were willing to wait until the next month to have the work completed. To Chris' credit, the date we had agreed upon was never postponed and started the work on the date we had discussed. Unlike other contractors I have used in the past that start a project, collect the initial deposit, and then you don't see them for days; Chris' crew was at the house every day to put in a full day's work every day until the job was completed. He also accurately estimated it would take about 5 days to complete the renovation. I would highly recommend Chris for any projects you may be considering. He is hard working, honest, does excellent work and keeps his word. I already plan to use him for some projects around my house.

    Dependable Home Improvements
I live very close so my wife and I walked in the office and explained to Ashley what we needed done. We made an appointment for the DHI owner to come to house on Monday August 7, 2017.. He arrived on time looked at the job need to be done. He explained two possible options. He stated he would give us estimates by end of that week. Today is October 24, 2017 and I am still waiting for my estimates (just kidding) . I gave up hearing from him a long time ago. If he didn't want to do the job all he had to do was say so, but to just ignore me completely was rude and a very poor business practice. On the bright side I found a great contractor who is now doing the work.

From the minute he showed up, it just didn't appear that he was interested in the job. He didn't even look at the second bathroom. He made sure to say that the original job was bad and he'd have to tear out other portions of the bathroom to get the job done and then he quoted me $13,000 (again) without even looking at the second bathroom. After I recovered from the shock of the quote, I thanked him for his time but will not be calling him back.

    SHD Construction
We had a bathroom fully gutted and within days, the shower tiles were cracked. We were frustrated with the time and cost of the project, so we looked for a new contractor to do the repairs. SHD had great reviews so we called. Steve was responsive and professional from the first call throughout the duration of the job. His professionalism with scheduling and communication also carried through to his and his son's workmanship. We got a shower tile job (and some extra repairs) that exceeded our expectations. We didn't hesitate to leave Steve or Steve Jr. in our home alone. The job was completed in a timely fashion and at the agreed upon price. We are so pleased, we've had them quote us 2 other jobs in our house. we recommend sHD with zero reservations.

Install was Ok, except counter top was left out of plumb. We had to call Steve to come back and correct the problem which he did following week. One month after Steve completed the installation we noticed that the vinyl used on the cabinets was starting to bubble and pull away from the edge of one of the cabinets. We promptly texted Steve on February 21 including photos of the area in question. Steve replied that he was out of state and would take a look at the problem when he returned. We have not been able to reach Steve since February 21, despite leaving many voice mails and text messages. He does not reply. We have a 5 year warranty on the product which appears to be useless if the provider does not respond to issues with the product he is selling.
