Frank was considerate and understanding of our concerns, and explained the whole process. Every question I had , through a phone call or text, he returned promptly. I will recommend Frank to all my friends and neighbors, and would not hesitate to use his services again if need be.

I received a quick response from Guy who showed up exactly when he said he would. Guy was very personable and sent an estimate that night. I scheduled the job through Guy with ease and on the day of the job he was present along with his field supervisor Al and two workers. They took care of the mold, meticulously cleaned the entire basement and gave advice on how to prevent the issue in the future. When Al came to get the equipment a couple days later, he even grabbed my garbage cans from the curb and took them to the house. I think this really shows the character of the crew. I can't say enough about them and the company. I would definitely recommend using these guys.

Jenny was amazing and thorough.  She explained everything that was being done and what the results would tell me. She was on time, easy to schedule, a pleasure to work with.  Would definately recommend her to others.   Kept us informed throughout the whole process.

It went very well. She spent a little over an hour doing the inspection and got the results to us in about a week. The lab takes time to look at the samples. She then sent us a very detailed report explaining the types of mold we had and plan to do remediation. We also got a copy of the report the lab sent her.

After the tests Michael ground down the cement in places and treated in thoroughly. He also treated the mold inside the wall.Michael then placed heating equipment and fans. The whole process only took a few days. What a difference, there was no longer any odor and now my house was safe to live in. I had the flooring company finish their work.I couldn't be happier .Michael not only very professional but a true gentleman.Becuse he has a very friendly demeanor,he took a very bad situation and made us feel comfortable.I have already recommended his company to a friend and he also feels confident after meeting Michael.

    MOLD PRO INC.
We contacted Brad to help identify the source of a musty odor in two bedrooms. He advised it would be $200 for him to come out and inspect, but that 99% of the time he can identify the issue for remediation.
After twenty minutes he advised me (over the phone) that we had a rampant mold problem causing the odor and had to be addressed immediately. I asked him how this could be, as we just purchased the house two months prior and the inspectors(plural) and I did not see anything. He informed me "a blind man" could see the problem. He told me we needed at least three tests to measure the severity of the issue. Having three young children, I reacted to potential hazards presented to my family.
Two air samples were taken. 1- Air quality in a bedroom(~700), 1-Air quality outside as baseline(~400), and 1-Physical (location is undertimed and results not indicative of any major issue)
When I got home that evening, I went into the attic to inspect for myself. I could not visually locate any of the issues Brad had informed me of(in the areas he mentioned). I also could not locate any musty odors.
I immediately contacted an independant IAQ specialist, a remediation company and my inspector. The IAQ company was not able to locate anything of concern, other than some minor spalding around the chimney area(nowhere near where Brad advised). The remediation company told me they didnt see much of anything and recommended I do a minor cleanup myself(wasnt worh their time or my money). The inspector could not find anything out of the ordinary as well. All three of which recommended I question what Brad saw, and have him show me specifically. One of them also noted how he provides remediation services as well, which is a conflict of interest.
I called Brad and asked him to show me exactly where he saw concern. He informed me the Northeast corner of the bedroom had issue and that if I wanted him to show me where the problem was, it would cost an additioal $200. He would send me pictures in the report. I pressed him and he finally agreed to show up...two weeks later.
I reviewed the report he provided and the pictures he provided were not of the areas he specified over the phone.
When he arrived, I asked him to show me exactly where he saw issue and where he took the physical sample from. He was uncertain and seemed to be more confused as the conversation went on. He then showed me a completely different area from any he had mentioned before. I could not see anything other than plywood(which he assured me was covered in mold).  He then pointed to an area with old water damage and advised that was all mold.  I asked him if that was where he took the sample from, and hhe said "no".  There is no smell/musty odor coming from any of the areas.
He took some more pictures and at one point took something out of his pocket. When I asked what it was, he hurriedly put it back in and said it was "nothing".
I told him I was not happy with his service/professionalism and I wanted a portion of my money back. I was willing to cover his expense for the tests, but I would not cover the profit he made on them. At that time he started challenging the other professionals I had mentioned(by name) and told me to "Get them here now". He then stormed out of the house.
In hindsight, I wish I had read the reviews on Angies List prior to hiring him. Upon reading one of the reviews that mentions his direct relation to JS Services. A quick search online shows this to be true(collusion). This was the second time we have emplored Brads services. The first time, was to address a minor issue in the crawl space prior to purchasing the home. He recommended JS Services, who did the remediation. They did a great job, but after all this it makes me wonder if this was warranted or if a young family was taken advantage of .
In case your wondering why I didnt contact JS Services immediately after Brad informing of the mold issue, I did. Jarrod was on vacation. He came back after all this had played out. He pointed out yet a totally different area and his verbiage was the same as Brads. It was obvious they had spoken.

The entire experience was so easy and drama free. Richard, is the owner/operator, he made it a point to come to our home for a free inspection.  What I really liked about this provider, is that they too had similar issues with flooding and understood where we were coming from.  So many providers/contractors/restoration agencies were so expensive, didn't really want to understand our issues and in all honesty, I didn't want want to get ripped off again.
Richard came to our home, he had up to date equipment and on the spot was able to show and prove to us how wet our foundation and floors really were.  I was in shock! We found him thru a family friend, and what we were really impressed with was that he spent 15years in corporate America working for large institutions, so he was extremely professional, so thoughtful in his approach to us and really worked with us on price.
In a few short days, he was able to bring in large dehumidifiers, large air purifiers, and dryers of course.  He cleaned our crawl space and in a few days, our foundation, literally turned to another color (its TRUE color!) light gray, and dry! I had no idea this could be done.  You could almost eat off the floor.  He did exactly what he said he was going to do, and we are very pleased.
We sent him to my parents house as well, as they recently have bad sandy damage AND a large roof leak that's been dripping down their bedroom for months, and i think causing them lots off issues (mold, mildew, moisture).
I don't normally post reviews, but really felt this business deserved it.

Said we had pretty good quality especially where we had air purifiers up
stairs.  Down stairs wasn't as good but wasn't any concern as well
didn't try to sell me any other services because he said we didn't need
them.  He seemed to be a honest person who does what they say they will do.

    VanGo Cleaning & Restoration
Hi, I purchased mold removal services from VanGo Cleaning & Restoration in October 2013 and the company came to my house in November to provide an estimate, found the mold but did not test air quality and has never come back to remove the mold. Vango owner says he is too busy. I have contacted this company every week to schedule the service and the provided never shows up to do the work.

It wasn't as in-depth as I had hoped, but may be my expectations were off. I expected them to come in and be able to give me a full diagnosis, but in order to really diagnose anything, they had to do samples and they had to then charge lab fees and all kinds of things that we didn't pursue any further.
