My Mom is an 84yr old women who was told by her AC company who she had a contract with that she needed a whole new AC system that was over 5,000 dollars. I called Amtech (Aric) He drove over and looked at the unit. Yes, it was old but it was working fine. I feel the other company was trying to take advantage of an 84 yr old women and that was terrible. I am so appreciative and thankful for Amtech. I use them for my home and now my Mom uses them for her home. I feel very confident with their service and especially how they treat their customers. Thank you Aric.

They showed ups the first day, everyone was in a bad mood. They did most of the air conditioning install. They did a half fast clean up when they were done. I let them borrow my ladder so they didn't have to go back to the truck; they left my ladder fully extended, up against my house. Then Tom, the owner of Absolute Air & power, informed me that to install the hydronic heat would be an extra charge of $5,600.00. He said the install price was not on the bill due to a misunderstanding. When he came for the estimate, I said I wanted the hydronic system, he brought the hydronic system with him when the came the first day, I don't know where the misunderstanding is. but he was there so I agreed to the price. He subcontracted a plumber to do the work. That plumber said that there was more to this job than Tom let on to. So the plumber did a half fast job. Thus far I spent $800.00 cleaning up the half fast job of the plumber. This all stared 8 months ago. in September 2017. They just finished the A/C install yesterday, 8 months later. In the interim , I put calls in to them. trying to find out when they were coming back. Jen, the woman who answered the phone would always say that she had to speak with Tom (the owner) and that she would get back to me. She only got back to me once , in January. She called to see if anyone would be home to let the duct guy in to finish the duct work, she called as the duct work installer was pulling up to my house.

They were able to make suggestions and adjustments on the boiler that decreased the amount of noises because of expanding pipes for heating. I have not opted to have the pipes itself fixed because that would involve in getting behind the walls and it's a bit too messy for me at this point.

We had about five or six estimates done for the gas conversion shortly after purchasing our first home. Joe Ludwig had the best price and seemed the most competent. Two of his guys arrived early in the morning and worked for about 12 hours straight. They were very friendly and did beautiful work. Joe showed up towards the end of the day to check on everything. The only negative thing I can say is that during the process (which took a few months due to permits for the village and town) he was sometimes a bit hard to get a hold of or was too quick with phone calls. I would definitely hire them again, though.

Bill Wiener is an able and accomplished professional technician. He comes with a well equipped truck and is a very good diagnostician. He installed the church's three boilers which was a total replacement for the 50 year old boiler that  was a very large project indeed. Last year he removed and then installed four new air conditioning units. This was also a major undertaking and it was handled quite well. Bill and company had to fabricate and mate the new technology and a/c units into the original air handling equipment. As the property committee chairman,I am quite comfortable with Bill and he always explains exactly what he needs to do and how he is going to go about it. I find his prices quite reasonable for the work that he performs.

Well I will begin by saying my home is built on a slab with the oil boiler in the middle of the house. Half the home was radiant heat built in 1949 and half the home had baseboard heating. I wanted a new gas furnace but wanted it installed in the attic freeing up the space in the middle of the house. I interviewed 6 different plumbers and they all told me it couldn't be done. I then met with Rob from R and N and he really took the time to understand what I wanted. He then discussed with me the pitfalls of converting from oil to gas without addressing the radiant heating issues in the other parts of the house. He explained that while he could convert my home to gas and put in a new boiler my radiant heating was too old and inefficient and not likely to last nor could it be repaired. The radiant heating was already out in one bedroom so he was correct on this. I was impressed with him taking the time to address issues that no one else had. He then explained to me he could install a furnace in my attic and run duct work and do forced air heating. The benefits of this was that I could do away with all the old plumbing and have new duct work that I could also use for central air in the future. I was sold! On the days they arrived to do the work Rob was always here. My husband was very impressed with Rob's knowledge and confidence regarding the work being done and the fact that he runs a tight ship! I don't think I saw anyone take a break the four days they were here! Also each day they left they cleaned everything before leaving and so I never felt I was living in a construction site. The men he had working for him were very respectful and a very hard working bunch. Their customer service is fantastic and his wife Nancy was always so sweet and helpful with answering any of my million questions. I love my new heating system and was really glad I took my time finding the right person for the job.

Sal took care of all the permits and scheduling for the liner and oil tank removal.  Gary and Joe were the primary plumbers and they were very professional.  They removed my old system and installed an electric water heater for on the first day so we could still shower.
They found two gas leaks and took care of them, one of which was in a very difficult to reach crawl space.  Tracking the leaks down mean cutting in the dry wall basement ceiling.  After they fixed the leaks they cleaned up the dust left from cutting the holes.
They always made sure to cover the hardwood floors on their way in and out of the basement.  Gary and Joe were very respectful to make sure they were on time and even waited outside when they came early as to let us get ready in the morning. Sal stopped by to make sure everything was going well and was very concerned with my CO2 detectors being placed properly.  After the install was complete Gary showed me how to bleed the radiators and even left me his radiator key.
I couldn't be happier with the service Sal provided and his follow up after.  He prices was good and his office was incredibly friendly and responsive.  5 stars all around.

Mike and his team were the only ones of all the providers we spoke to that didn't just come in, ask me about square footage and say yeah, you need a 5 ton and all will be good.  He took the time to understand what had been installed previously and why it was incapable of providing consistent, even cooling across the house.
He spent hours coming up with a plan that would address the poor layout of the already existing high velocity system and what would need to be done to balance that system (fix someone else's mistakes basically) through adding registers and re-configuring the number of registers in certain rooms.  We have a Frankenstein of a split with a large addition and all of the rooms create quite a challenge for proper cooling.  Again, every other contractor just wanted to replace what we had for $12K-$14K - meanwhile when the system was operating it was not sufficiently cooling the house. So, above I gave the price a B, but it is closer to a B+ or A-... there is incredible value to me in the time Mike spent to come up with the proper system and to make sure that the house would actually be cool in every single room vs. just slapping something new in there which is what every other contractor wanted to do.  Yes, the cost was high, but we replaced a 5 ton system and added 2 ductless units AND it is balanced and the house is finally cool when it is freakin hot out!! They were even able to figure out how to bring heat (ductless units also can provide heat) to a previously unheated part of the house which was a bonus.
Danny and the rest of Mike's team were great and we have been happy with the system thus far.
Bottom line is, the difficulty in cooling a place like ours needed someone who actually knows what they are doing, like Mike Kempf.  You can pay less, for a jam it in job that some yahoo eyeballs or you can get it done right by these guys.

My experience with Fascaldi Plumbing, Heating & Cooling was excellent.  My gas boiler needed some updated parts.  These guys gave me the range of options I had, from replacement of parts to a new boiler, offered pros and cons, and never pushed me towards a decision.
Lou was incredibly responsive.  The work was scheduled quickly and with ease.  He and his partner even took the time to answer my many questions on boiler and thermostat operation.
I would strongly recommend these guys for heating maintenance work, and I intend to use them for boiler replacement when the time comes.

They came the day after I called.  They were supposed to be at the house between 2 and 5 but the service person called around 4:30 to let us know that they would be late.  That was fine with me because  I was a new customer and it was a Friday afternoon.  They could have told me I had to wait another day.  Everything went fine.  We're waiting to hear on the price of the service contract.
