Mike and his company get 2 thumbs ups from me!! They did a very clean and professional job. They covered everything on y property and cleaned up every day they left. Very hard workers and very polite I must say. If your needing to get a roof done I would call these guys and you'll see from the 1st visit how professional they are especially compared to other so called contractors that came to our home. Thanks again Long Island Construction Plus.

Excellent service. Vinny is very honest and knowledgeable about his industry. He spent time to explain every detail about what he was working on and made sure I clearly understood what needed repair and why. He was very thorough and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done correctly. I would highly recommend Safety First for any chimney/fireplace/masonry repair or restoration project you may have. They provide high quality work with great service at a very fair price.

I explained when I called the ducts had been cleaned last year by a different company but it seemed there was a smell coming from the system. I was told you really didn't need the ducts cleaned every year if it was done correctly. I explained they could only come if they weren't going to leave a mess at every vent. last year it was gross what was on the floor near every register.

this year Cunningham delivered exactly as promised - no mess. they were so kind and worked with me in pushing back my appointment since my pediatrician sent me to have a sonogram of my 4 month old's head the same day. rather than making me reschedule they worked with me. I was so grateful! the 2 gentleman who clean my vents were polite and made sure to let me know where they were and how long it was going to take so I could move the baby into the warmest parts of the house. they also showed me the return duct was not cleaned last year.

I will call Cunningham again and when my neighbor asked how it went I recommended them and showed them around the registers and said I didn't vacuum this is how clean they left my house!!!

Thank you again for working with me and being flexible on a stressful day for me!!

Excellent everything from a well needed cleaning, to a difficult electric trouble shooting and rewiring repair. Special thanks to Dom for a patient and professional approach to my electrical issue, Dom is a true pro and a real gentleman.

Sherwood came and provided me with an estimate. I accepted the proposal and they returned 5 days later. The dismantled my old chimney and built a new chimney. They anchored the new chimney to the house using brick ties. They were clean and polite. I would have no reservations about using them again or recommending them.

The existing fireplace was redone and made into a gas fireplace. The marble installed was cracked and not seated properly. It took an independent stone expert to come in to confirm our belief. They then reluctantly sent some one to repair the marble after many phone calls. Recently our remote control for the fireplace, which is under warranty, became inoperable. After numerous phone calls and a visit to the store we were unsuccessful in having Westbury correct the situation. Direct contact with the manufacture of the remote control unit proved just as frustrating, neither they nor Westbury returned any phone calls. I wouldn't recommend Westbury Stove and Fireplace to anyone. Thankfully, we found another fireplace venue, Jetmore Fireplace in Wantagh that knows how to treat its customers.

Really nice guys. Did a great job. Had some suggestions and gave me estimates for additional work but were not pushy at all. Even brought a heavy package in for me off the porch. Would definitely use again and recommend to family and friends. Called a few days later to follow up and make sure I was happy with service. Very happy, thank you!!

It turned out fine and satisfactory. The job was simple and quick. I have no complaints. The service was fine and fair. They said they would be here between 10 and 12 and they were actually here a little before 10. They seemed to be very professional.

I got the deal from Angies list for a chimney clean and inspection.  The company called me right away.  I spoke with Cheryl  (same name as me so I could not forget)  she was pleasant and accommodating.  We made the appointment for October 1st.  They offered me sooner but I was away.  They advised me they would be at my house between 9 am and 11 am.  There were there right around 915am.  They came with three guys that were professional and clean.  (my husband was home for the service and he did not get their names)  They advised me that my chimney was ok but I need a new liner for my oil burner chimney. Which I can understand as it is an old house. When I decide to that service i will definitely contact this company again.  I give them an A + Thank you Ageless Chimney and Angies List!

A fireplace gas log insert with light, thermostat, and blower to look pretty, and to provide heat; that will be usable even if we lose power.  It can be used at a low level, with blower turned off, as a nice little fire (which my small dog adores).  The fire has several different levels, as does the blower; and comes with an adjustable backlight.  The thermostat is part and parcel of the remote control, not something to be placed on a wall.   At high temp/blower settings, it will quickly warm up my tall-ceilinged, large living room with one window wall (a room difficult to keep at a comfortable temperature during the winter).  Both the fireplace and remote can be battery-operated, although the fireplace is plugged into electric in normal operation.

Installation was done just before Christmas.  There were some scheduling problems, but the owner (Peter Westbrook) made sure that he and his crew arrived on the promised date, even tho it was late.  They cleaned the chimney first, then installed a new cap and placed the 2 in-out air pipes for the insert.  Then, the insert was put in place and connected to the previously-installed gas line (you call your local plumber for this) and the air pipes.  Then the logs I had chosen (there are several styles) were placed inside; and the glass barrier (no more marshmallow roasts with this setup!) and the facing I'd selected (also multiple styles) were put in place.  They tested it, and the fire looked great; so the crew went home, late in the evening, to their families.
Turns out, I had to click the remote button 5-10 minutes repeatedly before the fireplace would stay lit.  I called the company, and they promised to send someone out right after the holidays.  Wasn't so bad at first, since I was so enchanted with the fireplace!  But that got old quickly.
Peter Westbrook came out, and had his man back on the roof checking the placement of the air pipes.  They were fine.  After checking several items inside, Peter discovered it was all due to a slight misalignment of the ceramic logs; a sensor was blocked.  He adjusted that (only a matter of inches).
Nowadays, I click once, and my fireplace lights up and works like a charm!  I absolutely love it, and am happy to rely on Dunrite Chimney & Stove for all annual checkups and cleanings, since they have been so courteous and cheerful and reliable.
