    Well what one would think would be a simple trip to Mavis to repair a leaking tire turned into a nightmare! Having been a Mavis customer for what...a decade...why wouldn't I go to them to repair a tire? After all I bought all four tires from them. Well I hope you learn from what I can only describe as a consumer nightmare where a quick trip for a $20 tire plug turned into a $1400+ lesson.
    Before driving over to Mavis my passenger side rear flat tire was filled with air since it had a slow leak--wouldn't want to drive on a flat tire...that will cause damage no? Of course it will. So upon arriving at Mavis my Honda CRV is parked in the lot in pristine condition. Check in with the service manager, give him the keys and wait. I listen to him caution the customer before me that they cannot move her car until they let her know about some damage on her bumper.  She acknowledges the damage and I continue to wait.  After an hour or so I go out to check on the tire...wouldn't want to drive on a flat...right?  It's getting rather low on air so I figure I'd let the service manager know (mind you the tire I am checking is right where the obvious damage mentioned later is)....he tells me "It's okay to drive a short distance on a flat tire." What!? Seriously...he is standing next to an article posted on the wall describing the severe damage that can be caused by driving on a flat tire.  I should have left...I did not and I continue to wait.
    I watch a large Mavis truck pull into the lot....it parks and obstructs my view of my car...after more waiting my car is pulled into the service bay. The work is done...it's been three or four hours--I just want to leave. As my car pulls across the parking lot I see AN OBVIOUS brand new dent mentioned above above the aforementioned leaky tire!  I hastily go outside to speak to the Mavis employee driving the car to ask what happened. As he hastily walks away...very hastily...he exclaims "That was there."  That was there?! NO IT WASN'T! Speak with the manager--that was there. Speak with the regional manager--that was there. Same line from everyone. One of the employees knows full well what happened but rather than do the right thing, after all accidents do happen and I think we all can accept that, it's more convenient to lie.
    Now Mavis...a full week later continues to deny any responsibility but as a last measure will "Review the video tapes."  A prospect thats of little help since they seem unwilling to review all of the video tape from when I turned over the keys to when they attempted to return the newly damaged car.
    This matter is still be looked at by Mavis corporate offices so  I look forward to sharing how that works out with the Angieslist community. This review deals solely with the service shop as it would be unfair to critique the Corporate Office prior to their concluding their "investigation."  

    $150 dollar new tire plus $1303 in body damage by a Mavis employee amounts to a $1453 to repair a slow tire leak.

    Scott completely dismissed me and said the temperature change caused the tire pressure to change. Since that date there have been very drastic changes week to week in temperatures and the tire pressure light hasn't gone on. I had a friend of mine who is a former Volkswagen mechanic look at the car, he said the system was disconnected. I don't believe it disconnected itself. I think there is something really wrong with this car Legend knows it and is ignoring it and perhaps even worse. This is my second Volkswagen and I used to think the service department at Legend was great...I guess it is as long as you don't have a problem or complain.

    Treated very well by all parties beginning with the sales person and all parties at the dealership. Left that evening with a brand new car in only two hours. Very satisfied with a transaction and with a lower monthly payment.

    STS-WTC Tire and Auto Ctr get you out when they say they'll get you out, they always give you a call, and seem to be respectful of your time. The demeanor of the staff is really nice, you don't feel like you're being taken advantage of, and they don't suggest to do unnecessary work. They are very respectful of people, have good customer service, and you feel very comfortable bringing your car there to them.

    I have been using him for years. His prices are great and he's a real mechanic. He lives and breaths this stuff. He is a real nice honest guy and does excellent work. I can't say enough good things about him.

    My experience with them wasn't good. I originally ordered a car but it was too big so I brought it back and they were going to give my deposit back but I didn't get it back. So I went in and then I looked at some other cars and they talked me into ordering a different one. I found they they were charging some hidden charges and I talked to them and they said they would give more money for my trade in and give me a gps, so I signed on it. They gave me a portable gps but I wanted the one in the dash board. So I brought it back and they kept my 500 dollar deposit.

    He is a very honest man. If I go some place to get my tires rotated and they tell me that I need brakes and other things done, so I say thank you very much for your help. I go down to Dominick���s and tell him that and he will check them out and tell me that maybe the car needs two more oil changes before I get the brakes done. The other guys who work there are nice, courteous and helpful. Unless it is something crazy, I have never had to bring it back with a problem from what he did. It usually is a one day turnover, unless it is something big.

    I was very impressed with this dealership. They treat you with kid gloves. The salesman was knowledgeable and very professional. They are so easy to deal with. Their service department is exceptional.

    They have been very reliable for me. I have used them for 5 or 6 years now and they have been great. The mechanics are very honest and they get the car done quickly and they do not seem to look for work that does not need to be done.

    The purchase experience was fine. The salesman was helpful and knowledgeable and they had a good selection of cars to choose from. The car I wanted was not there but they swapped with another dealer and had it available within a day.
