While I did my homework and got close to the solution, he also did and had the replacement part in his bag before I told him everything I tried and tested! While having a wonderful conversation with him, he proceeded to teach me what I had missed and how to fix it next time. I asked him about a couple other hanging issues he, again, gave his candid advice about how to fix it and didn't charge a dime more (and was 100% correct)! ATechnician came on time, said he would order the part and Mr. Appliance would call me. Never did, so I called them. They sent a bill for $876 for a part that I subsequently ordered myself directly from Miele for $150. I called asking for details and a receipt. They charged my credit card (which they apparently had on file from a previous call) without my permission. Never got a receipt after asking for it and I will dispute the charge-I don't even know what card they charged. My last business dealings with them also involved overcharging. Usury. Unethical. Taking advantage. Simply wrong. Deal directly with Miele is my suggestion.
