    They were great. Right from the start, the owner, Jimmy, was extremely responsive and communicative. We arranged for him to move my piano in a day. His guys came right on time and did an extremely thorough job. It happened to be raining and they made sure to completely cover the piano. They were friendly and professional. I checked out other places for pricing and Jimmy had the lowest prices. I HIGHLY recommend A Man with a Van and More if you need moving or piano moving services.

    Our cabinets are 18 years old maple color and we wanted to change them to cherry color.
    They were refinished about a year ago by someone who did a bad job- blotches, flaking stain, etc.
    Elton refinished them beautifully.  He was prompt, polite and professional.

    Mr. Segarra, the business owner and piano tuner, was exceptionally responsive.  We wanted our piano tuned for the holiday and he made time in his schedule on just a day notice from us. 
    He arrived right on time, and was pleasant and professional to interact with. 
    Mr. Segarra was clearly very knowledgeable, pointing out the unique, older aspects of our equipment and its tuning needs. 
    We asked Mr. Segarra to proceed with tuning the day he came and have already scheduled an appointment for maintenance tuning. His pricing was reasonable and quality of work excellent.

    The dryer was hardwired. The guy almost started a fire in my house. I sent them away. They came back over with a brand new one because it had popped my circuit and I had to call my electrician. I didn't want the same unit there because they might have done something to mess up the internals of the unit so they brought over a new unit. The guy that installed it rushed through it. It's not even leveled properly. They leveled it with the booklets on how to run the machine. He folded that up and put it under one of the legs. He didn't reverse the door to open to the left instead of the right like I had wanted it and all this other stuff and he left and that was that. They still haven't given me the credits that they were supposed to because they were going to lower the price because of the aggravation and me having to call my electrician and they almost burned down my house.

    They did a very good job. This most recent time I ordered my stove from them and it came in the wrong finish. So he really worked with me and was going to give me an upgrade for the mistake. My oven has been re-ordered in the correct finish and being sent priority. The delivery men were very professional as well and did an excellent job.

    The sales experience was fine, nothing exceptional, we looked around but we wanted to purchase our appliances at a local, "Mom and Pop" store which was why we went with Ralph's.  The issues were with the installation.  While installing the fridge, the water line to the ice maker was not turned off.  As they removed the old fridge water started pouring out onto the hard wood floors and no one did anything.  I saw the water and asked if they had a bucket to catch the water and without responding to me an installer took my child's cup out of the sink, put it on the floor, put the hose in the cup and walked away.  The water began to overflow out of the cup as I went to get a bucket and then had to mop up the water.   We had to have GE service come out after installation due to the loud noise the fridge was making.  GE Service said the installer should have secured the water valve wires because they were hitting the plastic fan which was what was making the noise.  When installing the gas stove I asked the installer a question and his response was, "I don't do this very much."  (After installation I smelled gas and called Ralph's.  They sent someone to take a look and he said there was no issue.  We continued to smell gas, called a plumber who immediately saw the leak and repaired it.)  As they were finishing up I asked for the manuals for the appliances, one installer said they were in the appliances which they were not.  I began to ask a question about the equipment and was cut off and was told they were running late and had to go.  After they left I began to pick up all the garbage and materials they had left on my floor, counter and back porch.  They had not put anything down to protect the hard wood floors and they had scratched the floor.  I called Ralph's to report the scratch and was told by Andy that they would have to get the installer's side of the story.  He also told me, "If they say they didn't do it, I'm not sure what we can do."  They had to come back to install the hood a few days later (originally they tried to tell me I hadn't paid for hood installation and had to show them the receipt to prove it) because the first hood they installed was broken.  I asked the only installer who was there from the first installation about the scratch and he walked away from me without saying anything and went into the truck.   After Andy spoke with the installers, I called back to get an update- I was told they did not take responsibility and "If you want me to apologize I'll say I'm sorry but look, we've been here a long time".  I told them that I had a few estimates under $100 to fix the four boards that were scratched, which would not repair it to its original condition but would be a temporary fix.  When I asked to speak with the owner I was told by Andy that I couldn't and when I asked for the owner's name I was told he was not allowed to tell anybody who the owner is.  I asked if he would speak to the owner and call me back about the floor repair and there was never any response even after repeated phone calls.  We paid for the floor repair out of pocket.

    I spoke to Shane when I booked the appointment, who was very helpful (when I couldn't reserve the freight elevator for the scheduled move time, he switched the start time without complaint) and issued the certificate of insurance to my building manager right away.   The three movers (Mario was the lead mover) showed up promptly at 8 a.m.  They were all friendly and efficient, moved my piano without incident, and nothing broke.  Also, when I couldn't find my copy of the invoice a few weeks after the move (which I wanted for my records), Shane quickly PDFed me a copy.  I would definitely use them again.  The only caveat is that I didn't realize until Mario showed me the bill that they were charging us for certain boxes (which I didn't even realize they were using).  The materials charge ended up being ~$60.   I didn't really mind paying it; I just wished I'd been apprised of additional charges as they were incurred rather than at the end.
