    TODAY'S LIMOUSINE
    The Limo we got was in very poor condition. There were a bunch of trim pieces missing, the radio didn't work, worn out seats, etc. The worst part of the trip was that the driver didn't know how to use a GPS, and didn't know how to work the controls in the Limo. My wife had to sit up front and literally give the driver turn by turn directions which took all of the fun out of the trip for her. Not a great experience. We could have looked past the condition of the Limo but having to give a Limo driver directions just isn't acceptable.

    TODAY'S LIMOUSINE
    These guys are professional and first class, from the reservation people to our driver (Bob B). Limo was late model and very clean. Bob was ~15 minutes early to pick us up, very polite and friendly. He shuttled us around the Saratoga and Albany areas and was always right at the curb when we needed him. This kind of thing isn't cheap, but for a special occasion I highly recommend Today's Limo.

    M D FIBERGLASS REPAIR
    The experience went well and I can't argue about the price he charged me for the repair ($100).  Also, his policy is if he has any leftover gelcoat from a previous repair he made on someone's boat, he won't charge you for the material if there is a gelcoat that will work for your repair.  Luckily, he had some left over gelcoat, although not a perfect match, from a previous repair that he used to repair mine.  Gelcoat is very expensive and a quart is the minimum size if he needs to get it for your repair.  Mike did a good job and I am satisfied with the results.  I would use him again and would recommend him to others.  If there was a weak point, I would say that it would be that there needs to be better communication from him.  I called him on a Thursday to inquire about the repair and he told me he was going to start  it that day and would call me later that day to let me know how it went.  Well, I didn't get a call back and I had to call him the following Monday to find out if it was done, which it was.  Mike told me when I called that he had just finished it up.

    It was a very hot and humid day, with temperatures in the 90s.  The limo did bring the wedding party from the Comfort Inn to the wedding site at Birch Hill for "First Look" and then took the Bride and Bridesmaids, Ring Bearer and Flower Girl to the main building.  Then it went back to the hotel to get the parents, step-parents and grandparents.  When we went to leave, the driver could not get the limo in gear.  The car and air conditioning had to be turned off.  It was a hot day, and the water and champagne were not cold.  The driver made calls to his office.  Finally, after waiting in the limo about 15 minutes, the driver was able to get it into gear.  You could tell that something was wrong with the limo, because on the trip to Birch Hill, you could feel it "buck" a little.   At this point you would think that Advantage would have gotten a working limo to Birch Hill.  We did make it to the main building at Birch Hill, but the delay caused by the difficulty getting the limo in gear at the hotel had set the timeline back a little.  The limo did get the Parents of the Groom, Step-parents, Grandparents, Flower Girl and Ring Bearer from the main building at Birch Hill to the Pond.  Then it broke down again, stranding the Bride, Bridesmaids, and the Bride's Parents at the main building with no way to get to the wedding ceremony site!!  It was too far and too hot for them to walk.  The city bus that the hotel had provided to shuttle guests to the ceremony was sent to get them!  A city bus was not the way we had planned for the bride to arrive at her wedding!!  Due to delays caused by the breakdown of the limo at the hotel and at the wedding site, the half hour wedding ceremony began 45 minutes late. .  Anyone who has planned a wedding knows that this is not good!  The wedding ceremony was now hardly able to be heard since another event with an outdoor loud speaker had begun.  Birch Hill had scheduled this event to begin after the wedding ceremony was over, but with the delays caused by the broken down limo, they were running at the same time.  The limo breaking down also set the time that Birch Hill had planned for the cocktail hour and reception meal back.  The band and the photo booth people as well as the photographer and videographer's timelines were also delayed. 
    Lori called Manager of Advantage Rental Dan Catrell on Monday, August 6 at 8:50 am and left a message for him to return her call.  She was told that he would call her back within 2 hours.  After no return call, she called at 12:30 pm and again at 3:00 pm.  At 3:00 pm, she was told that he would call her back before he left for the day.  She called back at 7:00pm, and was told that he had left for the day.  She then called the President of Advantage Transportation Group, George Deutsch at 7:00 pm on Monday, Aug. 6, and left a message asking him to call her..  She called Dan Catrell again at 9:45 am on Tuesday, August 7.  She called Dan Catrell again at 4:00 pm and was finally able to speak to him.  She felt that he was rude, unprofessional and unresponsive ("You aren't getting all your money back."  "Too busy to return calls". etc.)  Dan Catrell said that he needed to call the driver and talk to him, even though we had heard the driver on the phone with the office on Saturday when the limo was not working.George Deutsch did not respond or call back.  At this point in time, we are waiting for Dan Catrell to call back after speaking to the driver.
