Tree Service reviews in Mahopac

Good price and very professional. Would hire again for future work. Although delayed by the tremendous damage to our area from weather, they were able to prioritize and communicate with me about the need to delay. Completely understandable.......... so many homes were effected in Putnam County.

When I was planning a new walkway, I got a estimates from a few different contractors with extensive reviews on Angie's List.  I also contacted M&M, even though they did not have many reviews.  I am very glad that I did.
They were able to quote a great price on the work performed, they were able to start very soon, they finished in the timeframe specified, and their work was excellent.  Mauricio had great advice about the specifics of the work when we weren't quite sure exactly what we wanted.
    I highly recommend using M&M.

    SavATree Danbury

Savatree is a large company and their Danbury, Ct. office serves the Putnam county area. Mr. John Haggerty is a Arborist and was the initial man on site. The two trees are close to the house and I was prepared for the verdict of cutting them down. However, after inspecting both trees, John saw no need to cut them down and suggested that a pruning, cutting to balance and cabling were all that was necessary. These are two huge and beautiful trees and I was glad to hear that. Also, the job became much less expensive than cutting them down. The quote was exactly what the job was done for. A work order was emailed to me for approval. Once approved, the job was scheduled promptly. The work crew arrived on time and completed the job with speed and professionalism. John was there to start the job and arrived immediately after the job to check out everything. The job site was totally cleaned and all debris removed. There are future jobs which I will definitely use this company for and hopefully with John supervising the work again.

I highly recommend this company for an honest appraisal of work, knowledge of trees, professional work, accurate quotes, and a total cleanup of the job site.

I'm writing this in regards to the South Salem, NY division of this company.

I had two large trees that I needed removing,  both were growing out of an old patio and used to have a screen porch built around them.  I was really amazed by the professionalism of the guys who were cutting the trees down,  especially the guy who was up in the tree.   He tied a rope to the top of one of the trees,  and used it to swing parts of  the other tree, uphill, to a safer location.   They crew had a very positive attitude, cleaned up everything, and stacked all the wood for me in two rows to use as firewood another year.   I had a really large stump from a tree that got knocked over in hurricane Sandy, of which they ground down.  However they had issues with the other stumps because they could not get the stump grinder in to remove the stumps because of the patio.    Removing these stumps were a priority for me, but they could not get the machine in to grind them.
However  Mike and Herbert worked with us,  and had their crew  work on the large stump within the patio with an axe and a chainsaw.  They worked their butts off too.   However in the end I still have a stump, albeit closer to the ground.    In exchange for not being able to do this stump they ground another stump on my property instead.    That was fair and in the end I was really happy with all the work they did.

Bizee Bee Tree Service  came to my home with a derrick on top of a huge truck. In less than one hour three highly-skilled men totally removed a five-foot diameter stump, roots and all, along with the associated debris.  That eye-sore is gone! And they did it for a reasonable price. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them highly for any tree-service needs.

I ordered several cords of split firewood to be delivered, the wood was supposed to be seasoned and ready to burn, it was not, it was all cut to different lengths some of which exceeded 24 inches even, it was not seasoned long enough to be sold as "Seasoned" firewood, , moisture content was well over %45 (as checked by my moisture meter).  I never called them to address the issue so I can not say if they would have corrected the problem, I have dealt with bad deliveries of wood before and usually it is not a mistake its just a bad provider, and the problem just gets "resolved" by them dropping off more wet wood.  The only real resolution is to stack the wood for use next season, and never use that provider again.

    Nick's Tree Service, Inc

Nick and his team did a magnificent job cutting down a very large and very damaged red oak tree on a sloped hill that hovered over our swimming pool, deck, shed, pool house and two 100 gallon propane tanks.  The job of cutting down the tree and the cleanup afterward were done to perfection . I plan to have Nick back in the Spring to cut down one or two more damaged trees.  If you are looking for a professional tree service company that you can depend on and trust to do a top notch job you will find it with Nick's Tree Service.  I have recommended this company to my neighbors.

He was able to remove only the branches necessary. He communicated well with me and the clean up was excellent. Would never have known they had been there. I've used him twice and will use him again. Thanks, Nick!

They were very neat and clean when they did the work. They were also nice and did a nice job. It took them about a week to complete the work. Scheduling was fine and they showed up when they said they would.

I was given an estimated date when I signed the comprehensive and extremely fair estimate. I got a call from Mr. Rosamilia to tell me they would be able to start, which was right on schedule. The amount of work that was done in two day was a reflection of the expertise and diligence of this company. I am heartened to know there is a company like this in my town!
