    I needed my refrigerator fixed and contacted Reliable. I was told they could be there first thing Monday morning. John and his partner showed up promptly and gave the diagnosis of the fridge in seconds. Instead of paying a large amount for the repair (which they explained)they recommended I purchase a new one. They only charged me $50 for the visit (lower then the price I was given). If an appliance breaks again (hoping not) I will contact Reliable!

    Steve was extremely courteous and was able to come to my house the day after I spoke with him on the phone to fix my washing machine that wasn't draining or spinning. He came by on time and diagnosed the problem immediately. He had the part that he needed in his van and was able to get the washer working within minutes for a fair price of $125. I would highly recommend Steve.

    Steve was a pleasure to deal with. He answered my phone call right away and told me he can be at my house the same day I spoke with him. He arrived on time and diagnosed all three appliances. He was extremely courteous and honest. There was nothing wrong with the washing machine or dishwasher, however my refrigerator fan/motor did need to be replaced. He had the part in his car and finished all the work within the hour. Many appliance repair man would take advantage of your lack of knowledge and tell you that you need repairs that don't exist, that was not the case with Steve. I would highly recommend him.

    BEYOND fantastic. We were in a rush because we are here helping my in laws. Long story short, we had a horrible experience with Home Depot (quoting us a 3 week delivery and install window!), Best Buy (who ended up cancelling our order), so finally we went and bought a gas cooktop ourselves, and scheduled Pro Appliance to install it. They were extremely flexible, available on a VERY short schedule (which was a big plus), showed up on time and did an absolutely fantastic job. Removed our old cooktop/hooked up the new one, walked through the features and any concerns. Absolutely top notch service. Wish we had install services this wonderful identified back in CA! Highly, highly recommend.

    Our ice cream stores cooling units stopped working efficiently. We needed the units to be cool so that they can keep the ice cream & cakes cold. Our products were melting badly. 

    After calling a few places and unable to get anyone out, I came across this company online. I called them and spoke to the technician myself and he came out to my store and worked hours to fix the issues. We had some issues with the gas in our machines as well as a lot of ice build up. There were some other issues with the compressor and the fan of the Ice Cream ghea. 

    The service was great, it was professional and courteous and he explained what was wrong and what he was doing to fix it. I also liked how they communicated when he would could realistically be able to come, arrival time, etc.

    He kept us updated and well informed. I would definitely use them again and again. Thank you again. Have used his services once more since then!

    I had no idea how to turn off the water, so the situation was pretty desperate.  Had i called a whirlpool service person, I probably would have been swimming in the kitchen before i could get an appointment.  Anyway, Steve came right away, turned off the water, and got into the back of the fridge.  It appeared it needed a new part that he said he would order.  When the part came in, he came over to install it and realized that, even with the water back on, it was no longer leaking.  Instead of installing the part that apparently was now not needed, he told me to just watch it for the next few days, and if it wasn't leaking, he'd return the part--saving me over $200. He also showed me where to turn off the water so I would know for the future.  I appreciated his response time, his professionalism, and his honesty.

    I called around 8:45 am and the repairman showed up about an hour later (great responsiveness). I showed him the problem I had, and asked if it were possible to repair the boiler instead of having to replace it (I don't have $1000's to spend at the moment). He said he may be able to repair it, but since the boiler was so old (40 - 50 years old), he said he couldn't make any promises (I appreciated his candor). He suggested that we have someone from Universe Appliance come out to give me an estimate on a new boiler, and I agreed.



    He got to work and made repeated trips out to his van, and about 90 minutes later he showed me the work he had done, which was to put a new 6" pipe with a new valve coming out of the low-water shut-off (it was rusty, and had fallen off, which is why I called him). He also replaced the glass tube of the water feed. Apparently it was cracked, which I hadn't noticed, but saw afterwards when he showed me the broken part.



    I was very impressed with everything he did. Then he gave me the bill. He said the glass tube replacement was $236 and the drain valve was $309, which both included the labor costs. I asked him how much just the parts cost, not including labor. He said that Universe goes by per-repair pricing, so whether the job takes 20 minutes or 4 hours, the price is the same.



    I told him that those parts couldn't have cost more than $50 - $100 total, which means he was getting more than $400 for 1.5 hours of work. He insisted these were book prices, and that he wasn't personally getting paid that much. I'm absolutely floored that Universe can charge these rates. The guy did a great job, and feel he deserves an "A" rating in everything but pricing: but I was expecting to pay half of what I was charged.

    Thank you, Steve! My washing machine was leaking. I called Steve on a Friday morning, and although extremely busy, he was at my house that afternoon! You just don't get that kind of service anymore. Very satisfied with his work and price. Great service, courteous and speedy repair! Can't ask for more than that. I would definitely recommend Steve with confidence!
