    Dominick Amanatides
All fine on the front and two sides. When it got to the back wall he was distracted. Offered to build piers around five deck posts. He never capped them and after rain and freeze in October 2016 the stones cracked. Many attempts to get him to cover them by fall 2016 and I just got promises. Spring 2017 promised to tear down and rebuild with tops put on. Never happened. Useless. I covered them with patio blocks to keep animals out. My back yard cannot be completed until it is torn down. Way behind schedule.

Bill Miles Custom Masonry & Repair
This goes back a few months and I meant to write this a long time ago... I'll try to remember specifics.
The communication was great. The estimate was no nonsense and very matter of fact, which I like for any type of repair work. George came out and explained what they intended to do for the price and didn't try to inflate the price by performing repairs that weren't deemed necessary. I actually thought the problem was bigger than it was. He seemed trustworthy so we had the work done. We need some more brickwork done in the future and do plan on contacting them for that to get an estimate, too.

They came out to do the repair within a few days of me accepting the proposal and were here and gone by the time I got home. The only observation I'll make - and in all fairness didn't realize it right away and never contacted them, so, never gave them a chance to respond - was that whatever  concrete/mortar they mixed was done in my yard and some was spilled and left to dry leaving a very hard spot right in the area my kids play. My yard is NOT in great shape and it was less than 10" in diameter. They also left a thin masonry trowel behind in the yard that is actually quite pointy (which I still have lying around somewhere and you can have back!).

Oh, I forgot one thing so updating. I totally forgot that the chimney cap was attached to the chimney crooked, too. I guess that is my only real "complaint". I never really look up there and just noticed it again after thinking about this review. That actually should be fixed.

Overall a good experience and would recommend.

    Northeastern Masonry & Chimney
Northeastern couldn't "certify" that chimneys were safe to use although we had used them several years in a row without any problems noted for either chimney- said camp chimney too coated with creosote and little option but to "rip out the liner" - couldn't run brush up chimney.  Was supposed to show up during 9-1 window but didn't show until 5 p.m. - house chimney had issue with "spauling" and mortar joints that would have to be fixed before we could install gas logs.  Nice enough guys. Went to Matchless, don't have to do anything to house chimney for gas logs, gave us bottles of creosote build-up to use on chimney before they come to clean.

    Marek Masonry Restoration Corporation
This went great.  He showed up when he said he would, cleaned up each day and did what he said he would do.  He had 4 or 5 guys lined up to wheel-barrow the concrete from the concrete truck to the back yard - good.  The truck showed up with the wrong mix - it had 3" material in it - no good.  After a heated discussion between Marek and the driver, the truck went back to the batch plant to get the right stuff ... 2 hours later.  Marek worked this glitch out between himself and the concrete supplier.
Marek was very professional, supervised all of the work and came by on a Sunday to do all the finish detail work - cutting the control joints and doing the caulking.  It came out beautifully.
It was a pleasure working with him.  We are very happy with his work and recommend Marek enthusiastically to anybody needing professional restoration/finish concrete work.

    Stone Tech of Albany
Mr. Commissio showed up when he said he'd be there. He did 2 walkways and steps to our home. His work is exceptional! He even came back 2 times on Sunday to seal coat the stamped concrete walkways. We were never unconvinced through out the whole process. He came when he said...worked longer and was professional throughout the job! I would highly recommend his service to anyone! All of our family was greatly impressed as well as our neighbors.

    Marek Masonry Restoration Corporation
I was delighted with the job that Marek did for me.  My garage floor had been in a very sorry state after 38 winters of parking salty snowy cars inside.  He thoroughly cleaned the floor of loose debris the applied a thin coat of cement. Finally he rolled on a coat of non-skid epoxy to  seal the floor.  I can now clean the floor easily and no loner am tracking dirt into the house from the garage.
Marek is extremely professional and responsive when called.  He arrives on time and completes the work on the schedule he promises.  I highly recommend him for masonry restoration.
He also repaired my concrete front porch and rebuilt my porch steps and I am very pleased with that work also.

    Marek Masonry Restoration Corporation
Marek did exactly what was asked. He took the time and matched the bricks and I was impressed how you can hardly tell the difference between the old bricks and the new.  I would definitely use him in the future.

    JT Concrete
Justin was very professional and easy to work with. He called me back right away when I called to get an estimate. He showed up on time and finished his work over the course of 2 days. After banging off the excess cement near the foundation crack it revealed a hole next to the wooden beams. He created a mini wooden wall to fill in the hole with cement as it dried. Once dry, he was able to patch over the hole in preparation for painting. Justin also fixed my rotted wooden frames around my basement windows, which was a plus for me. One less contractor/handyman to call. I would definitely use him again.

    RINSLER MASONRY
Greg is meticulous  and pays attention to details. This was a large job and took over 4 months. His attention to detail and troubleshooting the numerous problems of the old foundation and water seepage was excellent. He was extremely reliable and pleasant to work with. He is one of the best contractors that I have dealt with in the 30 years of owning and renovating our home
