Physical Therapy reviews in Long Island City

I have been going there for almost 1 year now. They have another office in Bayside which I go to and see a therapist here, Lenia Sophocleous, who I believe is fantastic! She is knowledgeable, dedicated and has helped improve the mobility in my back greatly...she is always pleasant and in a good mood and works hard to heal you.

It seemed like there was nothing but it developed so the doctor referred us to a physical therapy center which was local. We were satisfied and pretty impressed with the center. They have two offices. That was our first experience with them. My impression of them was very good. I thought the physical therapy was very good and the initial assessment was excellent. They would twist and turn you to find out what your physical problems were. The evaluation was excellent. I felt very comfortable when I went and I had gone several years ago to a similar place in another area and it was just a so-so experience. They are in our area only for the last seven years. They seem to be very thorough and they keep their appointments. There was only one drawback that I found over there and that was because there were a few steps to climb and if anyone had a disability they wouldn't be able to climb that. They are in a small area where they don't have a facility for a wheelchair and that's the only issue I had but to me it was fine. They were very thorough. The staff working on physical therapy are specialized in certain areas. If someone has to go up and down the stairs it could be a little difficult for them though it was not to me. I had no problem with their availability. Their office hours were between 9 in the morning to 9 in the evening and even on Saturdays if required. The punctuality depended on whether someone ahead of you was a little slow with doing the exercise then you might have to wait a little bit. Over all it was satisfactory. Initially when I went to them I didn't find much of a difference but after 6 to 7 sessions everything seemed to be falling in place. You got to do a lot of those exercises at home too and that helps the situation. I haven't heard about the billing so I'm assuming that everything was fine and paid by the insurance.
