    Locksmiths USA
Don't use this company. They suggested a product that they resell and we spent over $6000 to have installed. It was a Doorbird IP Intercom system for my employees to use a keyfob to enter the office. For the past 3 months, my employees have been stuck outside the office on numerous occasions to get into the office to work in the morning. Owner of the company said they will find another company who sells a different system for us. I was willing to pay the difference in cost. I came to find out that I was paying for not only the new equipment, but also the labor to replace the device that Locksmiths USA sold me, and they were not crediting me for the system they originally installed! This is the Email I received from them (attached). They are more concerned about the time they spent making it work, than they are with making this right. Should not be the buyers issue that they can't get the system to work, that's why we hire professionals. I am contacting the system manufacturer to report them also, do not do business with this company. Also starting legal proceeding for damages. Not the way to do business.

Avi was fantastic. He arrived, assessed the situation, and explained the options. Including replacing a lot of inferior work that had been done by the handyman. Sadly I couldn't afford that solution, so Avi came up with a middle solution that we could afford and would fix the problem. I can't recommend him highly enough.

He was about 30 minutes late.  He looked at the lock and then said it would cost an additional $70 and that he doesn't get any money from Angie's list.  The fee paid to Angie's List is to get him to come to the apartment.  Since he was already there and I took time off from work to wait for him (and he was late) AND I had already paid Angie's List, I went ahead and paid the extra money to get the work done.  The lock works now about 80% of the time.  He said it's not a good lock so it won't work perfectly.  He was professional and worked diligently the whole time he was there.  It took about an hour from when he arrived until he left.  If I knew I was going to have to pay the extra money, I would have just asked the guy at the hardware store to do it and saved myself the hassle and time from work.

    Embassy Locksmith & Security

Provider was very good about returning correspondence, scheduling and punctuality. Was polite as well. However, he did not seem to be able to fix or adequately address the several problems I had - front door locking mechanisms  closet door handles and a couple internal door handles and/or locking mechanisms. By the end of his visit, I paid him more than what the Angie's List Deal/promotional described - because he did spend some time trying to understand the problems I was having.

Bottom line is I got a lot of excuses why he would not be able to fix my lock issues, and he left me with the same problems I had in the first place. I recently found another locksmith from Angie's (Lockbusters) that did address most of the primary problems that Embassy was either not or unwilling to do.

Not satisfied with the service.  This locksmith was used because of Angies list $29.99 special.  Now I know to avoid all these "specials" like the plague.  The locksmith also had over 90 "A" ratings.  Big deception, needing two keys to open a door one from the inside and one from the outside is horrible.

I've called many times and left message and haven't received calls back. I made an appointment with him after some time and it had to be rescheduled. I haven't received any communication since.

I recently bought an old house, built in 1945. The previous owner lived there for 50 years, and when it came time for me to change the locks, it showed. I contacted Jay based on a number of positive reviews and he did not let me down. My house was a bit of a challenge as a result of the old lock mechanisms, but he was able to change everything over so that four doors (each which previously had completely different locks on them) all have the same key. Jay was extremely friendly, responsive, and was able to come out the day after I first called. I am extremely happy with the service, and would refer him to anybody in need of quick, helpful service. A real pleasure to work with.

It seemed like he was a good guy He was very polite and very nice. I just don't think he had experience working on metal doors. The hole that he created in the door wasn't aligned so there was a gap there. In the door frame where the locked latch was supposed to go looked very bad. I called him back to see if he could fix it. My wife and I researched it and wanted to have someone else do it. So we got several estimates from other people and they didn't want to do it because it would cost more than double of the original job. We ended up fixing it ourselves.

We had an emergency and needed to change two locks as soon as possible. Jay was extremely quick in responding to my email on a Sunday, and while he couldn't come in on that day, he arranged to come in first thing Monday morning. He was professional, clean, nice and punctual. He got to work quickly and quietly, and changed both locks within half an hour. I would highly recommend him in the future.
